And rebel friend is up there with Jedi Bob, he needs to be a promo eventually. You can actually make a pretty accurate one by taking the torso from knight rider and that random bank robber from a spiderman homecoming set, swapping out the black arms for red ones, and using all the other parts from a normal fleet trooper. Brilliant, I may have to do that. The monkey blacksmith guy would've been a great inclusion in the upcoming Night Buzzard set Quote

NeutralNoodle Posted April 27, 2020 Posted April 27, 2020 We really do need updated Yavin Celebration versions of Luke and Han (I believe he has a different shirt on) with removable medals and dual-molded legs. These would be great additions in a certain D2C/MBS set. Quote

Would be an easy place to put in a smaller scale X-wing like in the prototype model. The only issue is there's no real conflict for it to revolve around, although I suppose you could include the imperial spy like at the end of Lego Star Wars. Quote

I would honestly love more ships at that scale, I think it could work really well for fighters. But it seems that Lego won't want to give up that $90 X-wing price point anytime soon. Quote

Why sell a $30 x-wing for $30 when you can sell a recolor of the $80 x-wing you sold 4 years ago, with a smaller side build, for $90? Usually I'm not one to bash lego for pricing, but those x-wings are getting too expensive. I was working on a display for snoke's throne room and remembered that we don't have the third style of praetorian guard helmet yet. Might be tough to get it to work in a set, seeing as the only way to do it would be another throne room or battle pack, and we just got those in the past few years, but it would be great to complete the collection. I agree, it's a shame. Best option would've been to include one of each in the battle pack. There are three helmet designs and eight guards, if I remember correctly. So if there were two identical guards in the throne room set it wouldn't have been hard to have an accurate distribution. Quote

jjr_2009 Posted May 8, 2020 Posted May 8, 2020 Anyone else surprised/disappointed that we haven’t seen Leia in any post-TFA sets? I know she doesn’t have a lot of screen time, but she’s still an extremely important character. Quote

If you bought one battle pack and one throne room set, you'd have three of the pictured guards and two of the large brim helmeted guards. With two battle packs and the throne room you'd have four of each. Quote

There are 3 helmet types and 4 "pairs" of guards each having different weapons. So there would be one helmet type there's 4 of, and 2 there's 2 of, but I can't find anywhere it says which helmet type has 4 guards. Quote
Beleg the Ranger Posted May 10, 2020 Posted May 10, 2020 (edited) I am probably a loner about this, but it really would be great for me if Lego released some standard Imperial troopers, similar to the Han Solo that came with the TIE fighter. You can't leave out the basic "grunts". This is sort of a far fetched idea, though, because they only get brief appearances in the movies. Edited May 10, 2020 by Beleg the Ranger Quote

In canon the standard imperial infantry were phased out for stormtroopers by the time of the OT, which is why we don't see them in anything besides solo. That was a cool design though, I could see an AT-DT set with a mudtrooper and a few imperial infantry units. Quote
Beleg the Ranger Posted May 10, 2020 Posted May 10, 2020 (edited) According to Wookiepedia, the standard troopers were more used as military police and support troops after the Solo era, so the main way I would see them being made into a set would be an early empire anthology film coming out, or, as you said, a sort of a "Battle of Mimban" set. Honestly, in Solo, they appeared as good as Stormtroopers, so I like them. For now I guess we'll be buying duplicates of mudtrooper Han or General Veers. Stormtroopers are cheap, so that is a plus for Imperials like me, although they are nowhere near the only Imperial army unit. It is confusing/cool that there are literally dozens of Canon trooper types, and even more Legends troopers. The field is wide open for customizers who are building their Imperial army! More Rebel troopers would also be convenient, as there are very few out there. Edited May 10, 2020 by Beleg the Ranger Quote

Even scout troopers, we went 6 years without any and you can only get the new helmet mold in a $30 set that's way overpriced and has a weird gimmick that makes the builds bad. Totally forgot, the Razor Crest will come with a scout trooper. Doesn't really help army-building, but it will be in the set. Edited May 11, 2020 by Mandalorianknight Quote
Beleg the Ranger Posted May 11, 2020 Posted May 11, 2020 (edited) Yeah, Scout Troopers get a mostly positive rap in RotJ (almost defeating Han, putting up an admirable pursuit, and possessing more intelligence than most). They could be featured in a Mandolorian set that is not the Razor Crest,so that is hopeful. Maybe even a Death Trooper could be included, but this is more wishful thinking. I saw no need for TLG to update the stormtrooper helmet mold in the way that they did, as it is not as realistic to the movies as it could have been. That mold is cool though, so I guess I shouldn't complain. I could talk for hours, so signing off now! Edited May 12, 2020 by Beleg the Ranger Quote
Redroe Posted June 9, 2020 Posted June 9, 2020 Padme in her Ep1 battle dress has to be top of anyone's minifig want list, whether they like the film or no. It's criminal that they haven't done it yet, even in the Flash Speeder which would have been the perfect opportunity. As for the rest, a master builder style Cantina or Jabba's palace would do the trick nicely. Garindan, Ponda Baba, or Sy Snootles and Ephant Mon. Some deep fan service characters. Quote
ARC2149Nova Posted June 18, 2020 Posted June 18, 2020 With rumors swirling of a Marvel CMF, could Star Wars be in the future? I hope so. This is my ideal Star Wars CMF series. New face, and comes with his newer hair and blaster. 7. Chewbacca (Wookie Prisoner). New "Wet" head mold. Has bowcaster and C-3PO's head. 8. Rey (Scavenger). Comes with a new print for 2018's Rebel Pilot helmets, new face prints, and a bread portion. 9. Darth Sidious. Comes in his dark red Revenge of the Sith robes. Has a gold-hilted lightsaber and lightning. 10. Darth Maul. New face, longer hilt, Comes with hood and horns, plus a probe droid. 11. Count Dooku. Has dark brown and black legs, with a fabric skirt.
