jp-30 Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 Marion's Kidnapping vig (though I need one more black hood to complete it properly) Alternate angle. Plus new fleshie versions of my Indy customs. Some minor recolouring (Marion's scarf, Toht's hat), but mostly from untouched official pieces. Quote
MagPiesRUs Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 Very nice! The scene looks great, and the basket is nice. Nice job on Toht too, the feodora looks great in black *wub* My one critisism would be that the gun the Arab has looks a little too futuristic. Perhaps the batman sub-machine gun would look better.. Mr. Builder Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 Very well done. Toht looks very good. Yes, I agree that the Arab looks to futuristic. Quote
SirNadroj Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 All of these are great! I especially like Toht/black fedora. And very clever basket idea. How would Short Round's torso look as the Temple of Doom Indy's? 8- Quote
jp-30 Posted March 23, 2008 Author Posted March 23, 2008 Thanks for the comments on the machine gun. I don't have any batman sets, but I'll keep my eye out for that piece. Right now it's a Star Wars rifle and a black minifig hand, which I think works pretty well. How would Short Round's torso look as the Temple of Doom Indy's? Great idea, I'll try that out when I get a moment. Quote
Ras 74 Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 I think they all looks brilliant! Really good work. The kidnapping scene is very good. Looking forward to see it again as soon as you got that last missing black ninja-hood. What torso did you use to Short Round? -Ras- Quote
jp-30 Posted March 23, 2008 Author Posted March 23, 2008 Whatisface, Indy's "you throw me the idol, I throw you the whip" companion in the Raiders Temple set. Quote
Scouty Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 Whatisface, Indy's "you throw me the idol, I throw you the whip" companion in the Raiders Temple set. Satipo! I loved that you used that torso for Shorty! Other guys look great, too! Quote
Ras 74 Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 Whatisface, Indy's "you throw me the idol, I throw you the whip" companion in the Raiders Temple set.Well that answer didn´t made me wiser. If you asked me the question, I would have provided you with a link. Angry On ;-) -Ras- Quote
jp-30 Posted March 23, 2008 Author Posted March 23, 2008 I told you what set, so you could look it up. Quote
???theriddler??? Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 Wow, really good made, verry cool, i want these! Quote
Ronan Nissen Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 Nice! I am a HUGE Indy fan and I think those are great! Quote
Asuka Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 A very good vig and a pretty clever use of parts too! And all of your characters look very nice indeed, well done. *y* Quote
darkrebellion Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 (edited) Very cool stuff jp-30. The kidnap scene is one of the best vigs I ever seen you really know how to capture the scene and the basket idea is just brillant :'-) . The minifigs looks simply fantastic so congratulations ;-) and only one comment you could use a Juno Eclipse hair piece for the Dr. Elsa I think it could look better with that one. jp-30 Posted March 24, 2008 Author Posted March 24, 2008 Hi, thanks. Yeah, I have Juno's head and hairpiece on my wishlist for Elsa. Quote
cartoondude Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 nice!!!! what body did you use for marion or is it a custom?? *sweet* Quote
captaintau Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 In continuing the theme/vigs of Marion's kidnapping, I just wonder how you gag a minifig 8-| Quote
jp-30 Posted March 24, 2008 Author Posted March 24, 2008 nice!!!! what body did you use for marion or is it a custom?? *sweet* The one with the bottle & glass is Aunt May from spiderman, but I recoloured the neckscarf with a sharpie. The Marion in the vig is the official one from the Well of Souls set, but with white arms replacing the fleshie ones. Quote
jedikermit Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 I love those customs--those are all characters I want to get around to making myself. Congrats on a speedy, and more competent job than I'm going to do when I get around to it someday... :-$ Quote
BlueBard Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 Amazing! *sing* Your "Toht" is specially well done! *wub* Quote
Lt. Col. Thok Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 Very nice! No offense, but your Indy custom looks kind of weirds with the blended yellow and fleshy colours. Quote
MrCustomizer Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 (edited) OMG!!! I LOVE your Marion Custom!!!! I would totally buy it for five bucks off ebay! Edited April 14, 2008 by MrCustomizer Quote
