It first leaked when someone bought the War Machine Buster set from Luton Airport.Ā

From an instruction manual. Then a day after Polybag was introduced and my friend posted the picture on IG.

Huh. It seemed like the corner of the leaflet to me, more so than it did the page of the book.Ā

Regardless, I wonder why they arenā€™t advertising the entire wave? If the Hall of Armor set were from another period in the MCU Iā€™dĀ understand, but Nebula is in it. And that still leaves out the Compound itself, featured prominently in the background of every box art.Ā

It first leaked as an instuction manual (make sense we saw the build of the set itself) then the polybag came in leaflet pictures are with the build of Ironman with the stand. But the first leaked pic belongs to War Machine Buster set.Ā

Thats actually done in EVERY single lego set nowadays. I don't remember any instruction manuals advertising the entire wave the last few years, only a few sets are shown in there

Correct. But at the same time, I'm thinking thatĀ probably those sets are more spoilery compared to these 3 sets that has been leaked.

Thatā€™s true

Nebula being in the Hall of Armor implies that she and Tony make it backĀ

But they still release a month before the movie, and thatā€™s what gets me. Whether theyĀ cone out three weeks or three months ahead of time, a spoiler is a spoiler. Whatā€™s the point inĀ hiding it if itā€™s coming out in advance anyways.

Lego / Marvel marketingĀ :ugh:

I'm dying to know who else is included in the Compound set.

Minifigures that likely to appear are;

Ironman MkĀ 85, Thanos, Hulk, Quantum Realm micro Antman

Likely candidates are;

Captain Marvel, Ronin, Rescue, War Machine Mk 6.

FFH isn't as big of a spoiler though. Sony released a trailer that showed people that Peter will be revived to some capacity after endgame (assuming people genuinely thought he was dead) so the whole spoiler excuse doesn't work imo with those sets

I think you are spot-on there, but I still hope we get a tony and a rescue in the armor room set. Most of your likely figures make sense, but i have to dispute War Machine Mk 6 as he appeared already in the wave and Isn't the most popular character. I personally think we'll see the original 6, the other confirmed figures, and captain marvel. Rescue may not have a big enough role to appear at all, only time will tell. (though i hope we get one!!!)

Hopefully it's not Marvel exclusive, but if it is... feeling pretty good about holding off on buying those new Spiderman sets.

I hadn't thought of that! I only bought the smallest one, so I can get the venom mech one (That spider crawler still has no value to me) and some SW battle packs or outrider dropship attacks and I've got the bricktober pack! Thanks!

The only reason I included Mk 6 (other than I love his design)

The helmet we got is spot-on from his promotional art armor. It's like it's made to be used in conjucts with Mk 6. But we did get the Advance tech suit so... I really dunno probably you're right and I'm wrong..

As for the compound set, Original 6 is a nice idea, though that gives us another cap, thor and widow which I think it's a long stretch given the fact that it's priced as $100 with 699pcs, I think 2 big figs and 4 minifigs with 1 micro fig is enough.Ā

But if we geĀ spots for; Ironman, Hulk (sure), Thor, Black Widow, Ronin, Captain America.Ā

I think it's not a bad idea. Who knows?Ā

Iā€™m not even sure Iā€™d expect the advance suit antman to appear in the compound but since we know the figĀ exists I guess itā€™s logical. Ā I do wonder if itā€™s from an exclusive though.

Point taken, but it's more logical of him being included in the compound set rather than Iron Man Armor Room.

What do you mean exclusive? Exclusive set?Ā

Question for the thread: could Lego possibly have created the avengers compound with only 699 pieces? I'm genuinely curious on every ones thoughts. A section of the compound? Maybe a proportionate sized full version scaled down? Could it possibly combine with the armor room set like others are saying? I'm quite excited to see!

My guess is something along the lines of the Malibu Mansion or the Helicarrier (6868). Essentially the set is a synecdoche: a portion of the real structure under the title of the whole thing.

In minifgure scale, thereā€™s just no way they could pull offĀ the Avengers Compound with 699 system pieces and a $100 price tag. But Iā€™m hoping they did a good job on whatever section/representation we do get.

Iā€™m very much hoping we get a new Cap in the compound set, I really want that scaled armor from the promotional image, which I think is fairly likely, as he is probably the top seller under Iron Man

Yeah, a store exclusive of some sort. Not out of the question I guess. Without knowing the plot or the lego set itā€™s impossible to say but it seems weird to have tiny antman in the compound with potentially the other avengers but they arenā€™t in the advance suit? Unless thatā€™s due to time travel...

I dunno, rambling at this point. Time will tell!

Hadnā€™t it been confirmed FFH is set before IW?

. . Y'now, I had heard there were some people who thought this, but I didn't really believe it . . it's been confirmed that FFH picks up minutes after the end of Endgame.Ā

Feige himself said it wouldn't make any sense for the first movie of phase 4 to take place in phase 3. So you don't have to be a mathematician to figure out this movie takes place after Endgame

Far from the truth, it is 100% confirmed to take place after endgameĀ

Maybe this will give us an indication of what to expect from the LEGO sets.

That's what I'm thinking. Even with 2 bigfigs we still need lots of big parts in the set to make it be worth it. (although based on known minifigures alone people will buy it anyway.) I could see a Facade of part of the main building or something like the helicarrier where it's a synecdoche, as you say. with this rumored D2C could micro ant-man be from that? It would be pretty ironic if there was some sort of micro-scale compound or something and he's included representing him at full size in micro scale :). Just a thought.

The D2C information was false.Ā

The D2C list has been known for a while now and there is no Marvel set, only DC Batmobile.
