Bricky Dee Williams Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 Is this the first time Hawkeye has had the original LEGO bow and arrow, as opposed to his special mold (from 2012, reused in 2015 and 2016).

Digger of Bricks Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 I wasn't 100% certain of this initially with the leaked catalog image, but yes, this Quinjet has a TRANS-LIGHT ORANGE recolor of 35404!
SpiderJazz Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 He mentioned my IG page. Cool dude. Youtubers did make a video so I guess it's cool to post pictures now.
Whovastron Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 (edited) I was willing to give the endgame minifigs the benefit of the doubt but god are those dogs awful. No new face prints, using innacurate parts when accurate ones exist. No leg prints for the chitauri. Truly awful. And why are Rockets guns always so awful? Why can’t they use the Overwatch gun moulds or something? the build is fantastic, but those Minifigures are just the worst in any mcu Set imo. Edited March 1, 2019 by Whovastron

Hard to believe we’re in the 8th year of the theme and yet Marvel gets so few new molds, and the figures are 80% accurate 60% of the time However, I don’t mind the Chitauri’s legs. I actually quite like the figure, the face prints are excellent.

They just took a HUUUGGGEEE dive in 2017. The 2019 Spider-Man wave was a glimmer of hope as some were good, but endgame...endgame endgame endgame. From what we know: new cap helmet piece cap head print chitauri head and torso print quantum suit torso and leg print iron man torso and leg print iron man Mk 1,5,41 torso and leg prints thanos print recoloured rocket shoulders hulk print thats all that’s new (as far as we know. 1 new mould and 2 new face prints. 2! Everything else is reused. It sucks so much. These sets are for the figs! Superheroes is what brought me out of my dark ages, it’s what my collection mostly consists of, but the figs have been so disappointing, themes like Harry Potter, DC, Jurassic world, speed champions and Star Wars are much more worth the money; great Minifigures and builds, not one or the other
1980-Something-Space-Guy Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 (edited) Minifigures are such a letdown this time around. Seeing as they are one of the major selling point of Super Hero sets, I expect to see several of these on clearance. I'd like to pick the minifigs, but I'll wait for those sweet discounts. saysonder Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 Only cool part of that set is the teal brick separater.
Khscarymovie4 Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 I don't care much for the War Machine mech as I am just sort if sick of SH mechs, but the figs are good. The Quinjet is defiantly an improvement and the best one since 2012 (kind of embarrassing when you think about that). Nice colours and it looks like there may be a good interior. Teal brick separator is nice as well. Hoping to see the Hall Of Armor and the big set soon as those are the ones I am looking forward to the most.
Bricky Dee Williams Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 Allen at The Brick Fan has a review up of the Marvel Minifigure Collection, sent to him by LEGO, so it’s undoubtedly right around the corner.
Whovastron Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 Avengers age of Ultron - 2015, 6 Sets: 16 torso prints, 13 head prints, 9 leg prints 1 helmet mould (in 2), 1 big fig remould/print, 2 reprinted helmet Avengers: Endgame - 2019, 5 Sets (assuming the 2 we haven’t seen consist of iron Man Mk 1,5,41,85, Thanos, nebula and hulk 6 torso prints, 2 head prints, 1 leg print, 2 big fig prints, 1 helmet mould, 4 reprinted helmets That’s the new stuff we got for both those waves, something doesn’t add up...

I actually think the old school one is more accurate. In the films so far, Hawkeye's primarily used a recurve bow, rather than a compound (the latter of which LEGO has been equipping him with in sets until now)

Yay hooray for US peeps! This means low resell price. The supply now is perfectly balanced, as all things should be.

I own and shoot a compound bow, and aside from his appearance in Thor, I’m pretty sure he uses a more traditional bow in combat. In Civil War, it’s a collapsible bow that turns into a staff, so modifications have been made to mix the 2 designs.

Yes. Not sure if it's that much more accurate, but eh. Hawkeye now has no parts or prints that were originally made for him. Fits the wave. 33 minutes ago, Aegis2000 said: Allen at The Brick Fan has a review up of the Marvel Minifigure Collection, sent to him by LEGO, so it’s undoubtedly right around the corner. Could lego have sent him it early? I'm hoping against hope that we will get the bricktober pack and endgame sets at the same time, whenever they are, but we'll find out soon. 3 hours. We're in the endgame now. (I'm sorry, i'm sorry, you know I had to do it.)
Cyclone_37 Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 I don’t mind the mini figures that much but man could they make at least one good mcu Thanos.
TOTDForever Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 I still think the Captain America in the $20 set is the best of what we have seen (assuming he doesn't have a different body in the compound set)
Invincible_LEGOMAN Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 Am I wrong or does Rocket tail look dual molded? The part in between torso and legs looks black? It’s probably just the lightning and angle, but it seems different to me.

It's a long shot, considering the angle of the minifigure it's just probably the lightning. 10 minutes ago, TOTDForever said: I still think the Captain America in the $20 set is the best of what we have seen (assuming he doesn't have a different body in the compound set) Did anyone confirm that Cap is in the compound set? Am I missing something?
Bricky Dee Williams Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 A commenter on Allen’s review said that they called their LEGO store and they said the promo starts March 8. This would coincide with Captain Marvel’s theatrical release, just as the Plantimal Ambush GWP coincided with the release of The LEGO Movie 2. Still, I don’t think we’d have the Endgame sets by then
