Looks like we’ve got a 30406 Unikitty Roller Coaster Wagon, but no Marvel Minifigure Collection

Lol. Man I'm sorry but this sounds funny when all people is waiting for Marvel pack.

I find it funny that LEGO is holding off on the goods. That 30406 is really going to get people to the LEGO store, haha

So the stealth suit is pretty nice. Not a fan of the grey lines on the face. I'm still not sure of the grey colour, I'm still in the "should be grey printed on a black torso" camp. Printing on legs is a nice surprise.

Avengers age of Ultron - 2015, 6 Sets:

16 torso prints, 13 head prints, 9 leg prints 1 helmet mould (in 2), 1 big fig remould/print, 2 reprinted helmet

Avengers: Endgame - 2019, 5 Sets (assuming the 2 we haven’t seen consist of iron Man Mk 1,5,41,85, Thanos, nebula and hulk

6 torso prints, 2 head prints, 1 leg print, 2 big fig prints, 1 helmet mould, 4 reprinted helmets

That’s the new stuff we got for both those waves, something doesn’t add up...

Speculating/Expecting the following at this point;

  • 76123 $20 : 4 figures
    - Captain America (QRS), 3 x Outriders
  • 76124 $35: 4 figures
    - War Machine, Ant-Man (QRS), 2 x Outriders
  • 76125 $60: 5 figures
    - Tony Stark, Nebula (QRS), Mk1, Mk5, Mk41
  • 76126 $80: 6 figures
    - Thor (QRS), Black Widow (QRS), Rocket (QRS), Hawkeye (QRS), 2 x Chitauri
  • 76131 $100: 2 big figs, 5 figures, 1 Microfig
    - Thanos, Hulk, Mk85, Captain America, Rescue, Ronin, Captain Marvel, Microfig Ant-Man (QRS)
  • Polybag:
    - Iron Man (QRS)

Always the potential for an additional set later down the line, but personally think that will be our wave. The fault lies with Marvel for the QRS/Advanced Tech Suits being the concept art that they showed Lego. While the suits are likely featured in the movie and the idea of a unified team wearing the same suits sounds cool in principle, here it strips the figures of individuality and collectability.

Hahaha. I love the person who owns this picture.

Both torso and legs lines up pretty well.

Probably the problem about the head is it's colored blacked also the lines, hmmmm or that's just me?

overall not too bad. I'm still glad we get this variant.

Nah, it's entirely Legos fault for making everyone in QR suits. That leaked concept art of all Avengers in normal suits leaked way back in June 2018, which means this art was available to toy companies way earlier. Lego just decided to cheapen on minifigures and have just 1 suit for everyone. I hope biggest set comes with all original Avengers in their unique suits , but I think it's highly unlikely at this point.

There's something kinda disconcerting about that Stealth Spidey. Those lines on the head bug me for some reason,

Lovely torso and legs, though. I could probably use them as a SHIELD tactical suit of some kind.

Also, is that grey printing on black legs, or are those legs dual-moulded?

They are black legs, see the edge of the print on the inside leg.

But hey, those 3 figs we already see are all good. It's like LEGO gone mad by giving all of them leg printing. :ugh::laugh_hard:

Thanks TLG! I wish you did this in Endgame too.

I don’t really get why people are getting so worked up over the Endgame minifigs... The Advanced Tech suits are probably worn for a lengthy amount of time given their omnipresence in merchandise and regular versions of their outfits are still readily available in the IW sets. And of course they’re reusing the face prints, other themes have been treated way worse in that regard

The IW wave still being available probably influenced some choices made for this wave, which is why it’s not really fair to compare it to previous Avengers subthemes.

And the FFH minifigs leaked so far clearly show where this year’s budget for the theme went :purrr: Some may say it doesn’t make sense to spend more on FFH merch rather than Endgame merch seeing how the latter is obviously a much bigger movie, but keep in mind that Spidey is still HUGE in toy sales

The Russo brothers already said that the concept art was changed and that probably multiple toys will have suits that don't even show up in the movie (we don't know if the QR suits are correct or not). I don't really care about that though, just as long as the minifigure looks good. However, you could just buy 10 of the Iron Man polybag (or Cap since he's in a cheap set so he will probably be €3-4 on BL), put some heads on it and you have the entire minifig selection from the Endgame sets.

People look forward to these kind of minifigures and they're just lackluster (whether that's on Lego or Marvel). I also just don't see, from a business point of view, how these toys (not just Lego) will sell among kids if they're all the same outfit. Besides the fact that they're all the same, they're also kind of bland.

Ah well, maybe this will be the most accurate wave of Marvel SH sets to date, but I don't like them.

Entirely certain they are telling lies to hide aspects of the movie.

Put simply, this is it, the finale of the MCU's biggest storyline, a 'part 2' to a movie that already made over $2b. This should be where Lego goes all out, full printing on all the things and makes it an extremely memorable wave. This is the end of many of the characters we have been following for 10 years. Some may die, some may retire - but a lot of them are not coming back. Imagine if this is the last time we see Captain America and he only appears in the smallest set in a QRS/Advanced suit with us never getting the Scale suit :look:

Spoiler

Iron Man is the only figure who seems to be getting good treatment in this wave, getting five suit variants (mk1, mk5, mk41, mk85, QRS) so i would'nt be as disappointed if he is the only MCU character to never be seen again - but the other characters should really be getting better final figures and i hope the compound set provides them - or another set after the release of the film.

This is very likely our last chance to get MCU based versions of specific characters. Some of the outfits/suits may get a release as variants in other sets similar to the Deep Sea armour or the Space armour - but we cannot really count on that as licensing in the MCU appears to prevent them going back and doing sets for other films.

@Scarilian I know that Endgame is the biggest movie of the year (and that’s saying something for a year that also sees the release of Frozen 2 and Episode IX), but the box office of a movie doesn’t necessarily correlate with its merch sales  I wouldn’t be surprised at all if the FFH merch sales far surpassed the Endgame ones.

Just look at the Juniors/ 4+ Disney themes: Cars 3 got a lot more sets than The Incredibles II, even though the latter outperformed the former by a huge margin. Guess which one was more succesful in merch sales though...

Because the figures are very bad. Fair enough on the quantum suits. But ant man, black widow and Hawkeye all reuse other people’s heads. They’re saving money by reusing the quantum suits, so would it kill them to put some money into some good face prints?

Ant-man has the same head as in last year’s Ant-man & the Wasp set and they already switched to Jyn Erso’s head for Black Widow in the IW sets, so that was to expected  I’d be more surprised if they all of a sudden decided to design new ones after reusing prints in the IW wave. At least they didn’t reuse Cap’s Civil War head for Hawkeye this time

Why did Lego stop using the black widow head from Civil War and AOU sets?

But they saved so much money on prints this year, why not introduce some new stuff.
