ToaDraco Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 The description for the armor room sounds decent, I'm glad to hear we're getting Igor as a brick built suit, hopefully it won't be terribly oversized. The compound set sounds awful. Why the hell would they waste parts budget on a helicopter and an offroader!? What is this, a city set? Only 4 figs, one being yet another outrider, the hulk and thanos we've already seen... just wow I can't believe this is what we're getting. I honestly hope these descriptions are wrong but they're most likely not.

Same disappointment hearing that the iron man one won't have any figures besides iron man suits, but exicted for IGOR!! and a chance for a mk50, as i missed the set with him. Eh, my wallet will be happy. (until the star wars 20th sets and FFH). Speaking of FFH, stealth suit looks good. I've truly grown to hate it.

KingSpoozle Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 I was not totally on board with the idea of the Stealth Suit being printed in gray, but after seeing the full fig I'm sold. The FFH wave seems pretty complete in general, the only figs I really wanted was the three we've already seen and the Ditko suit. I think it'd be best if LEGO makes that suit about the same quality as the CW Spidey fig. It'll look weird with just plain black arms. The Endgame sets on the other hand are a let down IMO. After following the leaks of all the quantum realm/advanced tech suits, my hype levels were pretty low. But all I really wanted, going in with the knowledge that there wouldn't be a lot of figures in their actual costumes, was figures for Ronin and Rescue, preferably both in the compound. It seems that is not true. However, I still hope one of them is in it, because I personally don't believe that they'll put Captain Marvel in the compound set, because that would be two separate sets with Captain Marvel on shelves at the same time. It could potentially take away sales of the Captain Marvel set, esp. if she's in a set that also contains Thanos, Hulk, and Iron Man. I'd really love Ronin, he's the one fully new design from Endgame that I'm excited for (I'm sure there are others that we just haven't seen yet). The armor room set sounds awesome as an Iron Man-centric set. And I think Igor could do well as a bulked up version of the Mr Freeze mech, that would be lit. A regular helmet is fine as well, the hulk buster mask would be too big I think. That really does sound like a fully realized Iron Man armor room set that people have been clamoring for for a long time. Its just unfortunate that it happens to take up an Endgame slot and Endgame figs. I find it funny that the set that sounds the least connected to the movie also seems to have the best figs.

The three missing figures from the set are likely the Iron Man (Mk 85) we have seen, a repeat of Captain Marvel and the Nebula (QRS) we have seen. The lack of Ronin & Rescue would make me believe we will get an additional set or something - this cannot be the full wave with the absolute mess of so many of the figures being army building Outriders. Though the description kind of makes it sound like a Hulkbuster style mech with a cockpit. At this stage the Armor Room sounds amazing, even if Igor is likely to be a disappointment. It's still five Iron Man suits and the Mk50 may be a variant or potentially a mislabelled Mk85 which could potentially free up the spot in the other set. If the build is great then this is going to be an easy set to bulk buy for a massive armor room display :P Edited March 2, 2019 by Scarilian

When I hear armor in relation to minifigures, I typically think of minifigure wear that slips on over a figure's torso.

If the armory has 5 (4 suits and outrider) and the compound has 4 (outrider confirmed) it has to include the Nebula and mk85, there is no room elsewhere.
