I expected nothing and I'm still disappointed :classic: That compound is one of the worst Marvel sets I've ever seen. Boring builds, terrible, undersized side vehicles, massively too high price point. I like the figures, and that's about it. 2/10.

Sue me, but I actually really like the armour room? It's great for displaying stuff. Igor's a bit weird looking, yes, but I'm sure that there's some way to modify it to fix that. Don't really like the inclusion of the Outriders, they feel contrived to add conflict to the set and raise the figure count. Why did they have to use the Mark 50 instead of the mark 85? It's smashed to bits, and they could've put another random Star Wars character in a team suit in the largest set in the 85's place. 7/10.

All in all, probably the worst Marvel wave... ever? I actually can't think of a worse one.

The winter one this year was horrifically awful as well. But I guess at least we had the Venom mech

The Compound is my favorite Lego City set of the year.  At least they changed Captain Marvel’s power blast pieces to the correct color, right gang?

The Hall of Armor looks like someone’s Lego Ideas MOC that nobody thought would get made. Igor looks especially awful. Like a blurry Flickr MOC pic that gets 6 likes (we’ve all on the recieving end of that though lol)  I’m still going to pick it up though for the suits, Dum-E, and the computers with cool stickers that will be put into my own Hall of Armor MOC.

Whoever said Cap’s bike looks good from the back was right, it looks really nice from that angle. Maybe with some modding the front would look better?

Honestly these sets looked pretty fun considering how limited Lego probably were. Lego seems to rely mostly on concept art and broad synopses of new films when they're making sets about them so if A4 trailers are going to only (mostly) include scenes from the first twenty minutes its no wonder this is all we've got. I'd say there's a possibility more sets are coming but given how much Marvel does not want the film spoiled I think this might be it. Unless there's an exclusive with Ronan and Valkyrie everything else that might happen in the film is just too spoilery for Marvel to give Lego enough information to make sets about it.

Also its weird but the two playsets both look better from the back of the box rather than the front. Could just be the angle though

Have to agree, this is the worst Marvel wave of all time! Designers who worked on this line should be ashamed of the horrible work they've done!

And just to think a few year ago in 2016 we had one of the best year for the line...

If I'm being honest the armor room is a bad set (aside from the sexy minifigs) the compound battle is an amazing set and a day 1 buy for me. (Minus the atrocious helicopter and car side builds). Originally the armor room was a day 1 buy for me but now after seeing the build and how repetitive it seems and otherwise lackluster, the day 1 slot is now given to the compound battle.

The compound build is definitely not as bad as I would have anticipated. The building itself is about as big as I expected but better constructed. The hall of armor is pretty awesome too, but my excitement for Igor was misplaced, he looks like shit. The minifig selection across the board is lame, getting TWO more outriders in the HoA set feels like a slap in the face.

Hm, yeah. Since I'm primarily interested in minifigs, these sets doesn't really do much for me. I don't care about bigfigs, outriders or quantum suits. That leaves Captein Marvel, Cap's helmet, and maybe the Hall of Armour.

Tbh I really like these sets. The hall of armor kinda looks like the old room underneath Malibu Mansion, I'm happy they gave Dum-E the dunce hat, hope it's printed, probably not. Igor looks kinda weird, but somehow it works for me, really interesting way to do the head. I was afraid it would be as big as the hulk buster. The new iron man mk something that's included is kinda a waste of figures in my opinion, it looks exactly like the compound one but with different arms (I hope I'm mistaken) and the outriders are even more useless. I rather had Tony Stark and Pepper Pots but oh well.

The compound looks nice as well, but nothing too special. Again waste of outriders, minifigure selection isn't too great overall. The car design looks weak, almost like a juniors set. The helicopter as well. This is a set I only want for the build, maybe the bigfigs. I wonder where we can find the other infinity stones. I think if they combined this set with the captain America one, replacing the car and helicopter with the motorbike (which looks way better from different angles) it would have been way better.

In the end this wave is pretty weak compared to last year, gonna pick up half.

Is a US release of the Marvel Bricktober set a complete lost hope at this point?

As for this wave, I'll probably pick up the Armor Hall, but I'm not in love with it at this point.

76123 - bad minifigs, bad build

76124 - bad minifigs, good build

76125 - good minifigs, bad build

76126 - bad minifigs, good build

76131 - good minifigs, bad build

Endgame wave in a nutshell.

What a meh wave for one of the most anticipated movies of all time

I cant believe they couldnt afford a more accurate hairpiece for Captain Marvel.

Captain America's bike is just plain awful. And the hall of armor has a limited appeal

The Quinjet is the best one of the line

Remember when everyone said that Lego HAD TO go all out with this wave because it was the biggest movie of all time? Lol.

I quite like this wave, Quinjet and Armor room are my favorites Igor looks better in my opinion then people make it out to be at least the suit isn't a massive things rather have one then not. The Avengers Compound looks nice can't wait to see people make it a more compete building, the car build is nice for being "filler" but Iron man driving a car in full armor lol the helicopter is awful though to bad they didn't go with Thanos copter as something for fans rather then something that probably doesn't exist. Hulk with a smile is nice given it will most likely be Banner in Hulks body so a smile makes sense.

It’s releasing next weekend, free with $75+ purchases at Lego stores and Shop@Home I think.

This wave has pretty good builds except for Cap’s bike. But there are so many missed opportunities with figures and the Armor Room and Compound are both overpriced.

Haven't been keeping up on the thread because I don't feel like reading 5 pages of reactions to these sets, but what happened to that Rescue helmet that leaked?

Posted (edited)

Well feels redundant to comment but yeah this is the worse Marvel wave. Haven’t seen a wave where I could pass on so many sets. War Machine Buster and Hall of Armors are only standouts. I actually like the hall of armor! I’ll be saving money on passing on the other sets so I’ll be able to buy two for all the suits to fit. It’s repetitive but it has to be to be able to include all the armors. I'm glad we have a LEGO Igor but I agree it could have been done better. Overall my thoughts are meh.

That is a great question. Lego shrugs on questions like these

Especially since there are already existing hairpieces that are way more accurate. Agent 13 from the airport battle works very well

It just dawned on me that the reuse of the team suit in every set was probably LEGO's attempt at catering to completionist collectors, just like the Infinity Stones were the collectable gimmick in the Infinity War sets. Judging from the comments, I think it's safe to say that backfired pretty spectacularly...

Man I.. sorta like these...

I do wish that if most heroes were going to be in the QR suits, they would have went all out and put Hulk in one too.
