Whovastron Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 I do like these larger GWP they’re doing, like this and diagonal alley
The NexoNinja402 Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 i like the fig, but putting a half iron man in my armory doesn't work

Tony often is seen partially armored up, tinkering in the lab in many different appearances, all the way back to Iron Man 1. It's actually a more neutral look than the other 2 Tony's they've made: the Iron Man 3 one still has the chest-embedded classic ARC Reactor which hasn't been a thing for 6 years now, and the Infinity War tracksuit one from the Bricktober pack is specifically his Mark 50 gear, not necessarily what he would casually be wearing around the lab. So a partial suitup version is actually a cool one to have for a Hall of Armor display.
Balrogofmorgoth Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 Why is every special marvel set from age Of Ultron? Those sets were perfect as they were, theybdidnt really need to add anything to that wave yet we get the UCS hulkbuster no one asked for, the helicarrier (which was phenomenal I will admit), and now this. None of these are bad sets at all, they’re all quite good, but we need more from Endgame, or if they insist on doing past films, do sets from the ones we never got sets for.

The detailing matches perfectly, including the helmet with the additional lines (which the 7 didn't have, in LEGO form or the films).

A few people over the years have suggested that LEGO make Star Wars Architecure sets. I’d love to see some more licensed buildings like this Avengers Tower
MOMAtteo79 Posted March 10, 2019 Posted March 10, 2019 I made the Star Wars Architecture :) And many more https://rebrickable.com/users/MOMAtteo79/mocs/

Fenghuang0296 Posted March 10, 2019 Posted March 10, 2019 Okay' having just seen Captain Marvel . . . I didn't care much about Talos before, but now I would really love an accurate minifigures of him and it really pisses me off that we got the crap we did. Is there anyone who's come up with a purist-ish custom of him? I definitely would have liked a smaller set. Yon-Regg and/or Minn-Erva's small, single-seater fighters would have been perfect - those things were begging to be made into some kind of Kree vs Skrull army builder set. Perhaps even a Battle Pack. {sigh} Marvel gets the short stick, again . . Interesting thing is, before seeing the movie I didn't really care about Captain Marvel, but now thst I have, I actually am considering getting the set, because I liked young Fury and Carol so much. And Goose, too. Maybe if I see a good sale or promotion in the future (hint hint, Lego? Bricktober pack in Australia?).

The set itself isn't particularly based on AoU, as the Avengers Tower had that same look for a couple of movies. Only the figure is strictly AoU related. As for sets from past films, I believe they can't do that because other company's own the licenses for the first few movies (I believe all the movies before Avengers)

TOTDForever Posted March 10, 2019 Posted March 10, 2019 I hope we get an official reveal of the endgame sets this week, it is spring break and we are so close to the street date. Hopefully they go up for preorder too

MCU Spidey 2017 Posted March 10, 2019 Posted March 10, 2019 Um does anyone know when the Far from Home sets would be coming out. It seems as if no one has been talking about them for sometime now.

TheBullMooseParty Posted March 10, 2019 Posted March 10, 2019 Can anyone tell if the supplies for the Bricktober Promo Pack have run out? It's not available for me right now and wanted to know what the issue was.

Mandalorianknight Posted March 10, 2019 Posted March 10, 2019 (edited) Having seen captain marvel, which was better than i expected it to be, I think we definitely needed more sets. Including Spoiler Something with yon-regg and the starforce special forces, maybe one of those kree starfighters or part of the cruiser ship. kree carol, i was surprised by how much time she spent in the kree suit in the movie. A better talos, and a generic skrull a UCS goose in all his motherflerkin glory I like the new GWP. I won't spend the money on it if it's only marvel sets to get it, because I wont wait that long for any of the endgame stuff I want, but the figure isn't a must-have, though one that is quite cool. I can understand the purist desire, but chances are we will be waiting a long time for Captain Marvel to get full printing the likes of the custom figure and we'll likely never see any of her squad adapted - while customs have provided the entire team with full printing on each. Personally i want to be able to get the Hall Of Armor as soon as it is released and be able to populate it with (At least) mark 1 - 8, which simply is not possible in terms of official figures - i'd also like to get improved versions of some of the Infinity War figures. I'll still get official figures/sets if they interest me and replace any customs with official figures when they are released if they improve upon the design/accuracy - but i think for the time being that they will serve the purpose.
