Um does anyone know when the Far from Home sets would be coming out. It seems as if no one has been talking about them for sometime now.

April 22, that has been confirmed dozens of times

Preorder? As far as I know only Overwatch did that, they usually don't do

Lego does whatever it wants with no rhyme or reason sometimes

Now that we know what we’re getting for Endgame, I’ve got my sights on FFH, I hope we get more leaks soon, or the official reveals

April 22 is the magic number, the street date that is. We will see them in time but I wouldn't hold your breath given how uptight Marvel and Lego have been lately

Isn't that Lepin or LeLe or some other knockoff?

It's Xinh.

Lepin and LeLe are producing sets with minifigures.

Unlike Xinh and Kopf, they just make accurate minifigures with stolen designs from others art. :laugh_hard: those are the new ages of bootleg/KO

So I saw Captain Marvel over the weekend...

Spoiler

And I really feel like she needed an updated figure for Endgame. I don't love the hair she has for her movie, but it's just completely wrong for Endgame. Does anyone have a suggestion for a different hair (other than Agent 13's cause I don't think it would look right)? I'm thinking this one: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=29633&idColor=150#T=S&O={"iconly":0} but I'm not sure if I love it. I really wish they had updated her printing too, but I get that that's more of a spoiler.

After seeing the movie, there was definitely more potential for sets. A set with Star Force vs the Skrulls is such a no brainer. What a missed opportunity. Also would’ve loved to get Maria. Could’ve easily been with the Quinjet.

Maria, not Monica (though she would’ve been welcome too)

I was thinking about the same hairpiece. Will most likely give it a try!

Yeah, we could have gotten a starforce set, a skrull army builder, and monica, maria, yon-regg, etc. The worst part is there were builds we could have had too, and the movie's doing really well. I wonder why we only got one set.

I'm getting kind of confused now. Does captain america have a new shield mold or is it just a different colour?

The shield is now a grey/silver base piece with printing on it rather than the old red base piece with printing on it.

I'm all for Lego trying new things in the promo items, but... man is that transforming Iron Man a weird mini-fig. Going to still get it, but really wish it had been one of the other weird suit variants from IM3...

Saw the captain marvel concept art, apparently she had short hair in it that is a dead resemblance to the 2 minifigs we got. I wish the endgame set would've corrected the mistake, it would've been inexpensive

I consider any custom that doesn't use Lego parts (or professionally moulded parts on lego) a knockoff, so it's a no from me too.

It's even stranger to me that they made a transforming Iron Man from a scene in Avengers AOU rather than the fan favorite Infinity war armour or Iron Man 3  armour.

For those who aren't happy with the endgame prices you could wait to buy a lepin knockoff and still get everything the official Lego version has to offer at a cheaper price lol

Or buy some custom printed Lego figures.

Or we could not sponser Lego's evil doppelganger and wait for discounts

It was just a suggestion lol, some people don't want to wait for discounts. Depends on how badly you want the set

More like LEGO's evil inbred mutant zombie clone

B2T: Mysterio's helmet looks so much better than I'd hoped for  Do you think that part might replace the current dome piece as their go-to crystal ball piece? I certainly wouldn't mind, the old one was neat but this would be much better

Yes in my opinion molded parts that are made as lego parts are knockoffs. Like, custom prints and molds wouldn't be knockoffs, but xinh would.

Yeah it seems anything special we get from marvel (UCS, architecture styling) has to be from AOU. As sheev would say, "ironic"

Lol. Yeah supporting stuff like lepin makes lego lose sales, which makes them have to up the prices/lower quality to keep making money. So in addition to it being morally wrong, buying lepin is counterproductive to the goals some people have expressed in this thread. I would just let lego know what you think, politely, and buy some of the sets to give them a bigger budget to work with.

I am with you on this. Just feels wrong to me to give my money to someone that sells an inferior product based on someone else's efforts. It costs less for multiple reasons. Com-Con exclusives are always a sore spot - so I can get why people would buy them.

Lepin is a cheaper way to get overpriced sets like D2C's. I can never justify spending $200+ for a single Lego set honestly, that is just me personally. (Someone is going to get triggered by what I just said I know it)

Discounts of official sets do not change the figures included or the printing on the figures and i doubt Lego can compete with buying multiple high quality figures for less than $1. Lego can compete on many things, but price is not one of them.

Lego is losing sales due to business decisions they make.

It's not morally wrong. It is also not 'counterproductive' to the goals people have expressed. Everyone wanted additional figures/sets so why not buy the additional figures/sets that are being produced by knock-off's given we are never going to get more Captain Marvel sets based on her current movie? It is quite simply the only option to get a majority of these characters.

7 years of doing this changed nothing. Buying sets you are not happy with will just encourage them to make more sets like that set OR they will see demand and think they can reduce the quality as the sets are performing well anyway.

What i am trying to say is even if an additional set is planned it will not deliver every missing figure that we should have gotten in this wave and it will be released months after Endgame - once the hype has already dissipated and we are looking towards the next wave of MCU movies :shrug_confused:  I'd just like to be able to have the core Avengers in the Endgame outfits before the movie, to experience the hype of the film and then be able to come back and MOC some of my favourite scenes or have a recreation of a sequence of the film. I cannot do that with just the QRS/ATS that may not even be featured in the movie.

They shouldn't get triggered. Each is entitled to their own opinion, and also decision making processes concerning their own money :) I just know where I don't like putting my cash
