76162 could be Endgame final battle? With worthy Cap, bro Thor and warrior Thanos???

BRO THOOOOOOOOR! Possibly, we'd heard that the $60 set is the biggest though so don't get expectations up.

It saying “new” leads me to believe that it’s based on Black Widow rather than Endgame or FFH  If it was based on one of the latter two, they could’ve used the proper film title rather than a vague “MCU theatric“ (which is redundant anyway, the C already stands for cinematic)

Marvel cinematic universe theatric. And november-january or whenever this releases seems early for a may movie.

I was 100% joking, only because it specifically says “theatric.” I don’t see this happening, guys! Lego has only done them with their own, in-house themes.

I agree, it's unlikely.

The set is called Spidey and Venom, not Spidey vs. Venom, so let's hope that it includes Agent Venom  One can hope. If it doesn't, big fig Venom wouldn't be bad either.

I really hope this year's Spider-Man comic wave includes villains we've never gotten or really different versions of the one's we've gotten. Here is a list of villains we absolutely need:

1. Lizard

2. Chameleon

3. Classic Electro

4. Classic Mysterio

5. Rhino (not a suit with a minfig inside)

6. Classic Shocker

7. Kingpin

8. Black Cat

Morlun and Mr. Negative would be great too. I reaaally hope we get Lizard and Kingpin.

I think they'll do morbius, isn't he getting a film?

A sony film in the same universe as venom, they didn't make venom sets so they probably won't make morbius sets.

Unless the figures are bad it'd be kinda hard to get worse

But we did get a set with Venom.

a few months AFTER the film came out, we got a set with venom piloting a giant venom symbiote. Venom is one of spider-man's most iconic villians, and I highly doubt this was meant to be an unofficial venom movie tie-in. Spider-verse, maybe, but not venom.

We got a set that Venom was in. We did not get a Venom movie set.

Plus we have had Venom fairly frequently as a minifig.

We've had two

What about the Jurassic Park III line, from 2000? They both licensed the movie and Steven Spielberg's personal brand.

They also licensed Spider-Man (2002).

Granted, they're not recent.  But Lego did make them.

They were part of a studios line, it was its own thing. Sets came with a special Lego camera.

The new designs are always specialized sets within a Lego theme, and made to work with a generic smart device rather than a Lego one.

I agree, studios was an origional theme just using IP's in some of it's sets. Like "zebra" won't be a liscened theme overall, just contain a set with a non-lego IP,

3 sets and a polybag featuring the Venom symbiote.

God that symbiote was something. Did they just have a ton of heads left in stock, like why would they build that thing?

Somebody left the Venom head printing machine running overnight by mistake. They had to go somewhere

Designer: How many Venom heads can I use?

LEGO: YES

I wonder if they over made the 2012 spider man as well, and decided to shove him into every Spider-Man set until they ran out last year and were thankfully forced into creating this new one

HA!

Yes. The only reason I can possibly think of besides accidently making waaaaaay to many venom heads but somehow only his heads is that they wanted people to be able to quickly mass symbiotes for a venomverse-style thing, but symbiotes almost always cover the whole body of the person they took over so that doesn't even work.

"MCU Theatric" sounds like a translation mishap. I'd imagine it's more likely "MCU Movie/Film/Theatrical Release"

Hate to be a naysayer but if that's true I'd guess it's a Black Widow set. HOWEVER I very much want it to be an Endgame/FFH set

A november-january set for a may film seems pretty unlikely.

All the marvel or possibly marvel elements that leaked were reposted, do we have any images of the supposed black panther head that don't cover the mouth with #legoleaks?

Goo point, for some reason I was thinking BW was going to be a February cinema release

probably because we've had a film in febuary-march the past two years. I'm glad they're changing it up though, I didn't like having all the mcu films released in the first half of the year.

We'll probably get black widow sets in late march-early april.
