Maybe your 2020 sets will just be a bit Black Widow-y or Eternals-y.

Every MCU movie since Age of Ultron has gotten at least one set and I don’t see why they would stop making official tie-in sets now. I hope we get two sets for Black Widow but I’m guessing it’ll only be one with Widow, Yelena, and Taskmaster. I’m expecting 2-3 sets for Eternals given the huge cast and the precedent set by Guardians of the Galaxy.

I guess it’s just the pause in the MCU hype train which has made me wonder if they might not loosen the connections, at least until Thor rolls round as the next sequelised entry. Maybe not as loose as the not-Venom Venom or the not-DoFP Sentinel, but maybe more like the Doctor Strange set where the minifigures are right but the scene is Straight Outta Billund. That said, having followed the news/rumours around the WandaVision Disney+ show; I know it’s a long way off but you’ve got to hope that we get a MCU sitcom set, right? They’ve had all that practice with the Big Bang Theory and Friends Ideas sets. This one has to be nailed on!

I think we'll continue having MCU sets, mostly because they've had at least one set for every film since Guardians of the Galaxy, but also because disney owns the property and is the one that liscences the theme, unlike the sony spider-verse (you cannot convince me that the giant venom mech was there because venom appears in a film that year, he's a popular character and that was a spider-verse inspired wave) and fox x-men films. it's possible we'll see spider-man 3-y sets since sony now has him in their universe, but any future MCU movies will have direct crossover sets until lego marvel ends, excluding if they ever do R-rated or hardcore pg-13 stuff like we're all expecting deadpool and blade to be. 1 hour ago, GoldenNinja3000 said: I hope we get two sets for Black Widow but I’m guessing it’ll only be one with Widow, Yelena, and Taskmaster. Marvel has 30% of Spider-Man and Sony has also offered Marvel Venom.

Hopefully it shakes out but venom is rebooted or at least a soft reboot so that monstrosity of a film isn't mcu canon. Thanks for bringing that to my attention though, there's hope for MCU spider man (and the upgraded suit) yet.

It wasn't that bad in my opinion. No problem 6 hours ago, BigGuy4U said: Well, we did get Duke Caboom Haha yes we did lol

Yeah I think they've set up too many spider man villains, and we don't have enough movies for them all. If they do choose to include Venom, that's one. We saw Scorpion in the Homecoming end credits, that's two. If Dimitri is actually Chameleon as the rumours say, that's three. And we also have Ned Leeds as a possible Hobgoblin candidate, rounding up to a grand total of four. And there's one more Spider man movie. The only way they could pull it off, is if there is a seperate venom movie, with a spidery cameo. But we don't know if marvel will accept the deal yet, so we shouldn't really start to talk about this yet tbh I know I'm off track, sorry.

THELEGOBATMAN Posted September 15, 2019 Posted September 15, 2019 Does anyone remember when we got these for Spider-Man themed sets one year go: 1) First minifigure (or piece) leak 2) Set description(s) (if there were any) 3) Full leaked sets

THELEGOBATMAN Posted September 15, 2019 Posted September 15, 2019 Remember the Zebra theme? Four 16+ sets under this theme, and there were also two 16+ sets under Star Wars theme (probably exactly like Zebra ones, just under Star Wars theme). It turns out the Star Wars ones are busts (Storntrooper and Boba Fett), so probably the Marvel Zebra set will be a bust (possibly Spidey or Iron Man). If they look good, it will definitely be a must-buy.

Well both of them are 16+ adult sets coming in the same year, I think it's highly possible the Zebra theme are busts.

There's not just one more spider-man movie, and what possible evidence do you have for ned, the only thing he really shares with his comics counterpart is the name. In addition, the green goblin would need to be introduced before hobgoblin and ned has literally no motivation to ever become a villian, nor would he be a good one. 3 hours ago, Falconfan1414 said: I wouldn’t hold your breath about the zebra sets being “bursts” I wouldn’t hold your breath about the zebra sets being “bursts” good, more chance of them having figures. 1 hour ago, benderisgreat said: Then what are they? Think about this for a second, as part of the zebra theme, why would they release 5 cmfs all within a year alongside the known cmfs, why would there be "art" and "music" ones, why would there be a disney series 3 before series 2 is even out of stores, how could lego make an mcu cmf if they don't have the action figure liscence, and how would cmfs be 16+? Your dream has no grounding of reality in any sort, this is just whislisting.
