8037 Y wing with landing gear

Hi all,

I've modified the y wing so that there is retractable landing gear. The design is similar to the on on the UCS y wing. 

To add the landing gear you will have to remove the shooter underneath

I feel like the landing gear makes the whole model stand up higher and looks a lot better. What do you think?

Very  nice mod! I've been updating my older sets with the landing gear from the latest minifig scale Y-wing but this looks great, might just have to try myself.

Thanks! Lol I spent about 2 dollars on the ski pieces from ebay  because I couldn't find them anywhere else...
