Technic 2019 Set Discussion

I really liked the previous big Helicopter 42052 and last year there was the light Helicopter so this seems like an unnecessary one.

42092 B is a concept plane with variable wing sweep. Concept, concept everywhere!

2017: Concept motorbike
2018: Concept wheel loader and concept dump truck
2019: Concept plane

Probably there are gonna be concept Porsche and concept crane in no time.

I find B models to be okay to be concept vehicles. But I don't like them as A model, like the recent Volvo loader.

Okay, from the looks of the rotor blades, it appears to be about the size of a city chopper. I didn't really expect a huge one for that price or piece count but that just seems tiny. 

Edit:  I do like the looks and it might be good parts pack. Also glad to see the tail rotor actually spins when the main rotor does.

Welp it's not a leak so I guess it's not our problem since it's the actual product. All said and done, damn that's a pretty nice heli, maybe with exception to the rear of the cabin - can anyone figure out what the rear panels open up to reveal?

The B-model is pretty on par with what I'd expect from a small/medium B-model. I like the use of the rotor blades as wings, along with the swingwings.

I'm in support of more concept A-models. I think it potentially allows for more creative freedom and even functions.

I really hope this set is actually $30 instead of $40. It's.... it's aight, I guess. Not the best medium size model, but not bad either.Sadly, yet again this seems like a City set made in Technic, with the stretcher and stuff. The winch piece looks rather janky, I'm surprised that made it through QC. At the very least, this set is a decent panel pack.

 

I can't decide if I should be disappointed that we have gotten sets on shelves with no prior leaks, or not.

I am happy I snatched the 42056 in Walmart rollback. So I'm not too keen on new sets for some time now

I think the panels cover the storage compartment for the stretcher.

A smaller version of 8068. Looks great. I like the quite different B-model as well - better than just another heli.

I'm thinking of get a used 8068 on ebay (or even 2, cuz I like helicopters with bubble canopies), and then do the comparison shots with 8068 and 42092.

Pretty sure it's a hole with 1L axle which already exists.

That's the part  I meant actually, wasn't aware the part already existed in white. Guess I got carried away, didn't check beforehand...

Edit: still pretty rare though, 3 sets so far, only 1 technic
