To me it looks like the crawler has independent suspension on all wheels.

On top of that, the whole front axle can rotate using the turntable.

That off-roader looks awesome, spot-on colour and stickers for the cab!

Im not a huge fan of all the electronics though, im not huge on building my own RC cars, and having bought some PF stuff a few years back, im still kinda sour that it got replaced already

It seemed absolutely impossible to invent a new suspension, that hadn't appeared in mocs,

but TLG did it!

Maybe because it adds weight without improving performance, it is a functional aesthetic detail IMO.

The new mechanism provides a very big amplitude of the front suspension.

I agree but innecessary for a trial truck for example.

The model would be boring and ordinary without the combined suspension! )))))

speaking about the color of 42099, for me it looks like regular orange. If it is so, we finally get the tapered 5x11 panel in this color. Otherwise it would mean bright ligth orange, but compared to other sets (for example 60197 city train) it looks darker. I always wondered why we did not see bright light orange in Technic yet, but I think not in this set.

I think only the front axle is pendular + (maybe) independent, I assume rear axle is only independent.

Yes, with only four wheels it makes sense to have a single pendular axle. There's a great explanation at Jennifer Clark's Demag crane page, at the "Suspension" section.

Does anyone know the original source of these images from the catalog in Japan? I'd love to get a DM about this :)

The only limit is your imagination budget! I know I want them all...

I was just going to say that!

I like them all. This is a great Summer.

Talking about colors, this year is free of green. This suggests that 42110 Land Rover becomes regular green or lime and we can expect some panels that are missing yet in these colors. I do not think earth green or olive 'cause it looks to military for a jeep

Well, if that Land Rover has to be green, I think that Dark Green (Lego Earth Green) would be more appropriate.

I have to buy everything, except the spider crane. Fortunately, I can build this crane of my current parts.
