WhiteFang Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 I hate to tell you, but after this long, the injured boy is either dead or undead. If undead, as I suspect, he may still have an emotional tie to his living brother, and be protecting him, while struggling against the evil he has become. It could lead to an interesting subplot if you encounter them. Reports shown that a battle has begun with Kendrick, Diana and Siloux with the injured boy whom have turned into an evil powerful undead. It seemed that part of Black Wraith Demon's power have possessed into him. His brother is nowhere to be found yet. Soon enough, something serious had happened. Ah, but here's the question... was it a dream, a prediction, or real? For all we know, it happened and then some force rewound time to allow them another chance. Will we ever know the truth? Yes, we will be looking forward to the truth! That is fine, I was expecting him to turn up there anyway. After all, I'm not even in Dragons Keep at the moment, and it is looking like things might make a... turn for the worse. No he wont be interfering, some interaction is always good! Lord Calvin will be making for somewhere first, to retrieve something before meeting you. Hope everything will turns out well!
Shadows Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 As we continue, Flynt will be going on with the group, even though it technically means going against his orders. I'm sure Aluvar's letter will take care of that. We're heading toward Hawk's Pass, once I figure out where that is. Do we have any activity at all in Black Falcon territory? Bluervo has certainly made an important discovery that puts us a bit closer to the source of the internat treachery in Crown kingdom, but will he make it back to the King to report it?
WhiteFang Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 Siloux's blessed arrows is not a fully automated magical weapon. But in this battle, it is able to slow down the boy because it did not evolve into a full-pledge Black Wraith Demon. Therefore, blessed arrows will be able to slow down its movement for the time being. Siloux is able to show its bravery against it. However, it will be not easy to defeat until at a much later stage, if he is greatly weaken. Kendrick will assist Siloux in this diversion attack as he is equipped with Crossbow Lightning. Diana will be able to inflict her coordinated attack on the boy next. But, will it be that simple? Meanwhile, Lord Calvin is on his way to meet with his entourage at the northern border. Will the journey be a smooth ride with the Dragonator encounter. We shall see
Shadows Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 Dragonator: It seems that I have invented both a place and a dragon in your kingdom. Marghan is a dragon, of unstated class, who stands guard at a place called Hawk's Pass, just at the southernmost point of Dragon Masters territory in M-10, if that isn't too much trouble. I have made it clear that we will be passing that way, and that he may not be aware of our mission. I've never been too clear on that anyway, realising that you are clearly running this meeting without the King's involvement (since he's senile and manipulated), so if the dragon is loyal to the king, we may be in trouble. If, on the other hand, he is aware, as I hope he is, he will allow our passage without incident. Either way, we're passing, just tell me how you'd prefer it. Oh, and where is that meeting? Aluvar gets lost on long trips, and he's forgotten. Again. We're finally making good time, we just aren't sure where to. Whitefang: Pinky, while heading toward Crown castle, has made a quick visit to Diana and Siloux. He recognised her and almost accidentally revealed her true self, but she diverted the issue and he left without doing so. He couldn't have really helped with the battle anyway, and he has to get to Crown castle. I would suggest having Siloux distribute his blessed arrows to the archers in hopes that a single shot, from all of them at the same time, could weaken the possessed boy enough that Diana can finish the job, whether it be to somehow drive out the demon or simply kill them both. Just my idea of things. I am introducing a new angle to the story. Bluervo and Wernst have been captured, in castle town, by skellies in disguise. They may already be dead, or maybe the head skellie is telling the truth and only intends to talk to them. What could he have to say? You'll have to check in tomorrow to find out just what will happen, but I guarantee, it isn't what you expect.

Aluvar gets lost on long trips, and he's forgotten. Again. We're finally making good time, we just aren't sure where to. At least someone here is continuing the story line for me, I haven't had much time to do anything much recently! New dragons are always good, and I will add the new place to my map (if I ever get round to it... ). It is no trouble at all, you always make places that will fit in easily, so I don't mind if you need to name a few. It certainly helps me somewhat! Marghan will have been posted there by General Marcus, as he is in charge of the Air Marshals. That i something I need to add to my character description. Ah well, looks like part 3 should be here soon. Back to the point, most dragons feel no loyalty to the king, especially this one as he has neglected them allowed the old treaty to go through that outlawed them and let people hunt them. No, no loyalty there. Dragons are in general loyal to the kingdom, as the people there are the only ones in the whole land that understand them and give them respect and friendship. At least until King Dracus took the throne, after which connections began to thin. If you can be bothered reading my whole first post in the Adventure Thread then some of the history is explained briefly there. Recently dragons have of course been returning to the kingdom, although most are still safely in the Valley. This is, of course, a violation of the old treaty (spurred on by me ). As the treaty was never officially recognised by the council, it was decided (by majority but not by all) that it would be ignored. This is where the tension with the Scorpion Knights started up again. This will be developed soon, in the story. After that condensed history lesson, the short answer is that the dragon will most likely know of your coming, as Ragnir will have contacted him. Of course, dragons do enjoy having a little fun now and then. In answer to your last question, the meeting is being held at Dromindur, in a small tavern called The Ravine, mostly because it is right next to a long gorge. A footbridge spans the gorge at this point, with a larger one further along going into the main town (for carriages etc). I hope to have this scene with pictures, it just depends on whether I finish building in time. I should do though, I'll just have to substitute a few things for different elements, as my Bricklink Order certainly wont arrive in time. If you have managed to read all of this, then congrats, and have fun on your journey! Edited April 30, 2008 by dragonator

Just my idea of things. Pinky's quick advice allowed them to device a sound plan to eliminate the threat. Siloux will have his blessed arrows distribute and assist the rest of the archers. Diana will have to try and deliver the finishing blow. But, will this plan really work? I certainly hope so. I am introducing a new angle to the story. Dragonator Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 As a news update, I have added Part 3 of my Kingdom Overview, including updated pictures of some characters and information on the Army Generals and one other new character who will appear soon in the adventure. Shadows, I haven't made a character description of Marghan yet as I thought you might like to pass by and add your own charm to his character first. Enjoy! I will also be posting the next part of my story line soon, sorry I'm a little behind. By the way Shadows, do you have a picture of Galcor? I am planning on taking some photos for the meeting, and it would be good if he could be there. Of course if I don't have the parts then it shouldn't matter too much, he wont be in the actual meeting anyway, no matter how much he protests. This will be my fist big MOC in quite some time, I hope you all like it when I finally get round to finishing it. I have mainly been working on it as a preliminary for Dragons Keep, which will be huge!

Oh, who is he, anyway?
Dragonator Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 I cannot believe I didn't pick up that I said that! My apologies, I feel like some single-celled organism swimming in a swamp. What I meant to say was do you have a picture of Grandoth? But hang on, are you telling me you don't know who Galcor is? Do you not read my posts?
Shadows Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 What I meant to say was do you have a picture of Grandoth? But hang on, are you telling me you don't know who Galcor is? Do you not read my posts? Oh, um, well... you know, it's hard keeping up with so many characters. I mean, I'm personally running a crazy old wizard, a knight escort, a knight carriage driver, a princess in disguise, 4 talking birds, 2 of which are visiting other wizards and kings, one of those currently being held in questionable circumstances with a crown guard by three skellies, or what seems to be skellies. Did I mention the king's 3 sons, the countess, the duke, his sons, or the conspiracy plot, the secret weapon, the murder of the queen, or, um, those pesky black wraith demons? And let's not forget Lord Kenneth, Diana, and Siloux who I've all had encounters with, and the upcoming dragon situation. I might also mention that I'm building up to time travel, a flashback episode, and a double doublecross. So, to answer your heartfelt question... no. I don't read anyone elses posts, just mine. I am, however, amazingly clairevoyant, managing to make it all fit. Maybe if you were out and about in the areas I frequent, I'd remember your names too, but I've been stuck in Crown and Black Knight territory so long, I haven't gotten to meet anyone else. Oh, and I'm 190, give an old man a break. I notice that you were just (a few days ago) in M-10, "on the road to Dromindur", where I will be after the dragon encounter. What I don't know is what you're doing, where you're going, or why. Honestly, I can't keep up with all the other plots in detail, and it's more fun my way, just sort of cruising along crazily. I asked in a previous post, but I'll ask again... WHERE IS THE MEETING? Not, like "it's over there in the blah blah" but what map coordinates, and what is it officially called. I can't be too far off at this point, so I need to make sure I go the right way. I'll post pics of Aluvar, Grandoth, Alyss, the birds, and maybe Wernst (I hate to tell you, but I can't even remember if that's his name either), the 3 skellies (maybe), the crown King's council, and anyone else I think of before the morning is up. Maybe Larissa, too.

Coordinates: M-10 City: Dromindur (not far from the border) Place: The Ravine (a small tavern near the eastern side of the city) For a better map reference I have provided a nice little map with some of the cities labelled, which can be found on page 4 of the Characters thread. Does that answer your question?

Does that answer your question? Well, then... Hey Lucy, I'm home! I'll be at the meeting in 12 minutes. Are we really ready for it, or should I kill some time? It's funny because, in the back of my mind, I kept thinking it was M-10, then as I got close I said, no, it can't be M-10, I'm here. Well, at the very least, I can have Pinky arrive at Crown castle and do some detective work for the King. Think I'll keep Wernst around for that. Matter of fact, pics are now being posted in the Characters thread, along with some updated information that has been revealed along the way.

Well, it does not matter if you arrive a little early, we may have things to discuss (), the representative from Ankoria (KK2) will probably be a little late, as he has to cross the Dragons Tail at its tallest point, and I don't know when the Black Knights representative will be here. The Black Falcons man is already in town, staying at the inn. You can fill in a little time by doing some other things first if you like.

Alots of interweaving at the moment Give me some time please I must be going insane (well, some think I already am ) but I'm sure I've said this already somewhere... To make it perfectly clear, the meeting will be held at M-10. Did you get that? I'll tell you again, M-10! Sorry about that. For more info, please read up four posts.
Khorne Posted May 1, 2008 Author Posted May 1, 2008 I made map with all the current Ankorian landmarks. I'm planning on doing a DMs one later and a BK one after that. I'm having trouble however the get a decent grid on it . Map of the Glorious Kingdom of Ankoria, drawn and inked by Ptah, royal scribe and author of 'Blood and Sand, a Guide to Ankoria' (click for larger version)
WhiteFang Posted May 1, 2008 Posted May 1, 2008 Khorne, nice looking map. I love it very much. May your grids work out soon! Looking forward to that. Hope Dragonator and mine map is not giving much problem to your next update

Why would the meeting to rebuild the Old Alliance against Ankoria (=the Scorpion Knights) need a representative from Ankoria ? Don't you mean Morcia(=Jellybean KKII)? It's not that I don't want to send my representative, I just think it's kinda weird .Khorne, nice looking map. I love it very much. May your grids work out soon! Looking forward to that. Just have patience, it takes some times to draw them up .Btw, here's a(n unclear) pic of Ptah, royal scribe of the Scorpion King:

(A very confused) -ator EDIT: I just noticed you said you would be doing a map for the DM's, thank you very much! I like the way you draw yours, they look great! I have also mentioned some more cities etc that are not marked on my (very poor attempt at a) map, if you want some help with them then just ask. Dragonator Posted May 2, 2008 Posted May 2, 2008 Wait until he asks where the meeting is... Oh please no! I might rethink my plans and instead turn a dragon on the lot of you...
WhiteFang Posted May 2, 2008 Posted May 2, 2008 Right, meeting. Coordinates: M-10 City: Dromindur (not far from the border) Place: The Ravine (a small tavern near the eastern side of the city) Currently, Lord Calvin of Red Valiant Force is heading his entourage towards North in M10. Shortly, he will be able to bump into you. However, Lord Calvin was not aware of the meeting as our dear Master Pent had slipped off his mind as he is busy focusing with Black Wraith Demons incident. Nevertheless, Master Pent is requesting for Dragonator's help to borrow a "Stone". The details is only written in the letter whom Lord Calvin will hand to you personally. Nevertheless, I am sure you will make him aware of this meeting. Master Pent will send a "Formal representative" soon. Therefore, Lord Calvin will be considered a stand-in for now.

I just have some landscaping to finish, and then pictures to take and I will post it. I also built it as a separate MOC, so it will have two 'scenes' as such on it. No interior sorry, but then again, who wants to look at an interior.
Scouty Posted May 2, 2008 Posted May 2, 2008 SHOCK Siloux has been traveling with a princess! Oh dear! What shall he say??? Check the thread to find out!
