Zepher Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Now that I'm not distracted by The Baritones II I'll probaly be able to post soon...
Khorne Posted January 27, 2009 Author Posted January 27, 2009 Welcome back KhoRne! The creator of EBRP has appeared once again. I hope to see more of your new maps for the various regions. Thanks .Right now, I'm working on the map for the Orclands as that is a map already filled with details and stuff. Won't be long till it's done. Hey KhoRne, welcome back, we've missed you! I look forward to you taking part again, I think some of us have become a little stuck. Thanks for answering those questions, it makes it quite a bit easier to understand the years, seasons etc. I hope you didn't mind me writing in all that history, it will tie in with my plot line eventually. I don't mind all the fluff, I like some good fluff. I just want to keep things simple for everyone, so newcomers wouldn't be scared off .Talking of maps, I don't suppose if I sent you a rough picture of where I want some major cities located, with names and some other geographical features, you might be able to draw up a fancy version of the Dragon Masters Kingdom, like you did for Ankoria? I love your maps. Great to have you back, we need to get this RP going strongly again. If someone doesn't post soon I may be forced to do a double post! Go ahead and send me your rough versions of the map and I'll see what I can do with it .*EDIT* Finished the map for the Orcs. (Thumb = link )
Zepher Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Man, your Orc map doesn't really have anything to do withmine.. i'll have to think of a way to fix that... maybe when my cahractrers aren't there it will be reshaped.

You have an Orc map ? I just based it on the one posted here by TinyPiesRUs some time ago. I didn't really know there was any other .
Zepher Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 No, just one in my head... I'm fairly new to the game sadly. I think I can work it out though... with only minor wierdness.
Khorne Posted January 31, 2009 Author Posted January 31, 2009 There you go, first post in a long time .
WhiteFang Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Khorne, your new character looks very nice. It is a new faction too. Are you going to integrate it into your current story plot?
Khorne Posted January 31, 2009 Author Posted January 31, 2009 Khorne, your new character looks very nice. It is a new faction too. Are you going to integrate it into your current story plot? If you mean the Bardock/Kian plot, then yes . I don't really know where to go with my other plots/characters .I'm not going to go really in depth with KK lore, like I have done with Ankoria, though. I want to keep it simple, so newcomers wouldn't have to study tons of history about all the nations before they join .

Your Ankoria are well prepared too. Black Knights Kingdom is in havoc with those messy Black Wraith Demons and Shadow Princes. Nice to see your story development after a long wait..
Khorne Posted February 1, 2009 Author Posted February 1, 2009 (edited) For everyone's ease, I have tried to summarise the happenings of the last few months (last 2 months to be exact) . I hope I got everything correct. Recap December 2008 Inertia Tyrius The Dwarf council gathers at Eradim and discusses recent events. The Council disagrees on helping the Dragon Masters The Dwarves assemble an army and start marching on Orc lands to avenge their fallen brethren (see Zepher). Thaddius Thaddius is witness of a revolt instigated by Rotious at Drakon. He decides to seal up the keep and leave for Dragonator, together with Drayn and several other Air marshals. Zepher Sae'mas Sae'mas Likki and the Orc warriors of the Likki tribe attack a Dwarf village, killing nearly all dwarves. Recap January 2009 Zepher Fanger & Gregraz'ar Fanger informs Gregraz'ar that Sae'mas has been captured by Crown Soldiers on his way back home after his raid. Fanger proposes to use violence to get him back, but the witty Gregraz'ar decides to try and negotiate with the Crown King about Sae'mas's release. As they march towards Crown lands, the group is ambushed by Wolfpack and Gregraz'ar is captured. Dragonator Dragonator is informed by Marcus about the current state of things in the kingdom. Dragonator orders Marcus to prepare the defenses of Dragon's Keep in case Rotrigous attacks. He tells Marcus that he will leave on a personal quest for a while. Dragonator leaves together with Ragnir, while Marcus is rejoined by two old friends. Inertia Khan Makhmos Khan Makhmos fights the enemy Shanagh tribe in the Orcish Steppes. The fight is bloody but eventually the Shanagh are routrd and chased by Makhmos's boys. Thaddius & Drayn Thaddius, Drayn and other Air Marshals learn that Tyrius the Dwarf has sent two legions and several Magma Dragons to Dragon's Keep to aid them in its defense. WhiteFang Lord Jason Lord Jason entrusts Sir Lance with the mission to find and capture Sir Kenneth so he cannot reunite. BTW, where is everybody at? Can you please report here if you still follow the EBRP, just to get a general idea of the active members . Edited February 1, 2009 by KhoRne
Zepher Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 You mixed mine slightly Khrone. Gregraz'ar is the Orc leader, who is trying to get the Orcs to advance by NOT cuasing war. Fanger is a blood thirsty idiot who wants to eat and kill dwarves, but is one of the clan leaders, so has to be listened to, or at least pleased. Also, only Gregraz'ar is captured! Thanks so much for the recap too!

Thanks so much for the recap too! Ah okay, I see. I'll change it right away. The color text got me confused . So, Gregraz'ar is captured by Wolfpack, correct?
Zepher Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 Yes, he is alone, leacving Fanger, the idiot blood thirsty insane dwarve hating guy to run the orcs. Wonder how this will end?
Inertia Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 i'll post later today, the Baritones II still requires my attention...
WhiteFang Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 WhiteFangLord Jason Lord Jason entrusts Sir Lance with the mission to find and capture Sir Kenneth so he cannot reunite. Khorne, thanks for doing this for us. I am sure it's not easy for you to read so many posts at once. It's correct. Sir Lance is authorised to capture Lord Kenneth and friends whom are in search for the Symbol of the Nine. At this moment, they are searching for the 4th member near Green Valley. At the same time, Lord Kenneth's father, Lord Hector has been dispatched by Master Pent to retrieve an item in Neb Monastery as it provide important information for Dragon Stone. This entire conflict was caused mainly by the powerful dark minions known as Black Wraith Demons and a recent new appearence of Shadow Prince which appeared in Neb Monastery whom attacked them and one of their companions, Siloux was injured and was sent back to Forestmen Kingdom which was controlled by ImperialScouts. Aluvar, Shadows and Alyss has crossed paths with Lord Kenneth to combat the threats and attacks by the Black Wraith Demons in the Capital. The attack was foiled with the combined efforts. Now, Black Wraith Demons has taken control Lord Jason and Sir Lance and transformed them into servants of darkness. At this moment, this is my summary for the current Black Knights Kingdom's situation.
Zepher Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 I sthere a main evil? IOf not, could we create one?
WhiteFang Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 I sthere a main evil?IOf not, could we create one? There is no main evil forces present in EBRP. The Black Wraith Demons and Shadow Prince was created by me and ImperialShadows when they are passing by Green Valley. That was our first encounter in our story plot. We have never expected to use this kind of approach in the first place but it went off very well ever since and have been involved in many arcs of the stories. I am not sure if we are allowed to create one. If we can create one, we will need to reflect these information somewhere in EBRP for records purpose. What do the rest think?
Dragonator Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 What do the rest think? Well when we revived this whole thing I did sort of give reference to an "evil" force that was rising in the land. I have a couple of big bad guys lined up for my kingdom; they may have interests elsewhere as well though, if you like.
Khorne Posted February 2, 2009 Author Posted February 2, 2009 I'd prefer not to have one supreme evil being, I think that would lead to an all out, continental war and that's something I don't want . I prefer individual struggles/battles and multiple small bad guys over one Sauron-like type.
Inertia Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Yeah yeah, rub it in. Blame Lego12... Everyone's been a victim of LeAnn's roving suspicions. I'd prefer not to have one supreme evil being, I think that would lead to an all out, continental war and that's something I don't want . I prefer individual struggles/battles and multiple small bad guys over one Sauron-like type. I don't think we're talking Sauron here, but an enemy who doesn't spread their interest into every part of the World, just a few regions... For example, the Cause of the Black Wraiths could be one of Dragonator's bad guys... (That was not a theory, just something of the top of my head)
WhiteFang Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 For example, the Cause of the Black Wraiths could be one of Dragonator's bad guys... (That was not a theory, just something of the top of my head) Actually, the Black Wraith Demons guys appeared out of nowhere. It came from one of Shadow's creations and I happily took it as mine kingdom mortal enemy which is kind of related with Dragon Master Kingdom, since Master Pent borrowed the Dragon Stone from Lord Dragonator, as Lord Calvin aid his armies in Ravine Tavern, Dromindur. I am fine with either suggestions, but I prefer the players to create a mini-evil in their kingdom to allow greater flexibility in our storyline.
Zepher Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 I like one leader villain only becuase it's more bad-@ss. People always defeat villians, but if there's one evil one, just behind the scenes, maybe not seen much, but there, that's always cool. It would also give a slightly centrel plot, or there's no reason for us all to be here.
