TheLegoDr Posted October 22, 2019 Posted October 22, 2019 (edited) Most sets they don't include two different color schemes for walls exterior/interior. They did in the Ghostbusters firehouse...that set was $350! Do you really want a $300+ Moe's?? Even looking at Joker Manor which was $300, they had tiny rooms on the interior with the same wall color as the exterior. I'd assume the series is dead. If they really planned on starting it all over with the new Fox/Disney merger and created slightly new versions of all of the main characters and a new house, etc. then I think the sales would tank. Yes, there are new fans now that missed out the last time, but it's only been a few years. And I don't see how they could improve on the characters they already designed. Adding in more characters, yes. Redesigning the existing figures, seems silly and a waste of time. Edited October 22, 2019 by TheLegoDr added in more thoughts Quote

Too long in that people cannot buy Simpsons minifigures on the primary market, so they'd need to redo them to make sales to new collectors (and probably keeping redoing the core Simpsons family, like Han and Luke in OT SW sets) but not long enough in the sense that many fans of the Simpsons and fans of LEGO will already have the sets and they cannot really be improved upon using new techniques. Plus I don't see them doing characters they missed first time around for the same reasons they didn't do them first time around. Skinner, Moe and Barney were the big misses for me. Quote
Magnum Posted October 24, 2019 Posted October 24, 2019 They should make a bricktober pack with four figures we are still missing. That way we can make our own buildings but we have at least the minifig to match. So Skinner, Moe, Barney and....(who ever gets the most votes) Quote

So i would have been glad, if it had been produced by Lego with special headmoulds for Moe, Lenny, Carl and Barney :P Now i would be quite unpleased seeing it happen. I also see how it wouldn't be a commercial success especially after all that time. All i said was that the final product would look terrible without the double walls. Yes, that was one reason i dislike the Joker Manor so much. I agree on that to 100%. It's the reason I hate Lego's standard tactic to allways keep a few important characters back for future waves, if they decide to do them later, so much. Witchking of Angmar and Faramir for example... Edited November 17, 2019 by Gorilla94 Quote
