hollisbrick Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 Can I just say that with The Kid's title it says I'm a Admiral, but shouldn't it be I'm An Admiral??? Just my 2 cents.. Quote

WhiteFang Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 (edited) Now, who should I thanks to for my new "title"? Honestly, I was very surprised to have some additional words onto my profile. Geez, I am not sure whether I should feel happy to acquire this unique title. Haha, recently, It's true that I had been reviving some dead threads. I am always interested to know some of the discussions taken place before. And of course, those discussions which will be interesting for new members to join in, I think it will be great for them to take part and share their views too. Edited July 6, 2008 by WhiteFang Quote

I think it's great. They are still valid discussions and it's nice to see people add their perspective and opinion sometimes years after they were started. Seriously, if they weren't meant to be revived, we would lock them all after a certain time. Revive On my friend! Quote

Just to add on, initally when I first joined the ranks of Eurobricks. I thought old threads are not meant to be revived as other members might take it as form of publicity. However, I beg to differ. There are many members out there who wants to know more of these good LEGO quality discussion and missed it due to its years difference. And I believed that there can be more views towards certain topic. Hinckley, I agreed with your view wholeheartly. And, lastly thanks again! It was a pleasant surprise! Quote

WhiteFang Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 (edited) WhiteFang: I personally wouldn't be very happy with a title such as Dead Thread Reviver Yes Nikola, I understand why you think it that way. I am not sure why some members might think this title as an "unfriendly" title? For me, I view it in a postitive manner. Maybe it is aren't bad to see something new. There is always two sides to a coin. Have an open mind, and life will be much happier. Anyway, titles are subjected to changes over time. Who knows, it might change to something interesting next time. Edited June 2, 2008 by WhiteFang Quote

UniqueBuilder Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 *Ahem* I'd advice you to keep quiet on this subject.. The admins detect every single subtile hint of "I want a title", "I don't want a title" and "I don't like my title".... And before you know it, it's too late to regret.. Quote

The Rancor Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 How do you get text to appear directly underneath your avatar e.g.: "metal gear soft" for Sir Nadroj "I has a bucket" for Sinner Do you need to be a higher level than Citizen in the community? I swear I've seen some citizens with text underneath their avatar (maybe it's my imagination) Quote
