Honestly, I'd be okay with that. Of course I'd like to see the "theme" continue with even more sets in the years to come, but what I wanted the most out of the return of LOTR was Sauron, Barad-dûr, a balrog and a fellbeast, and we already got all of that!  Granted, the balrog is just a Brickhead, but beggars can't be choosers

Make sure you’re logged into your Insider account if you have one! It’s only available on June 1st for Insiders, with 3 days of exclusitivity until it’s available for everyone on June 4th

Im not completely sure but I think the Fellbeast GWP is only available for Lego Insiders too

UK order just placed, had 2 brower sessions open both queued, the second later one I opened connected first - order placed and Fellbeast GWP added....email received from lego so happy lad.

I’ve managed to order mine - I didn’t dare leave the page until I got email confirmation aha. It’s a big feeling of relief being able to relax knowing I’ve got the gwp with it

I’m going to the store early.  I get the sense that it will not be as crazy as Rivendell was (makes sense Rivendell was the first set after a decade, beautiful set, appealed beyond LOTR fans, had the full fellowship). Brad Dur is incredible but we just had a $500 set last year without anything else in the theme. So I think this appeals to the die hard LOTR fans.  I expect quite a few people but not the forty or so that were waiting for Rivendell.  We will see.

Decided to purchase now, mainly for the gift with purchase. As an added bonus, I ordered the minifigure factory fig with the LOTR torso prints. Not sure of the quality, but I couldn’t resist. I’m excited for the sets to arrive, however my wallet is now in intensive care. 🚑🏥 Ouch, that hurt!

Whew! almost forgot about it! Was totally thinking the window next week, not the insider time! I logged in an hour and a half after I could of. Grabbed it and the promo in less than a minute without lag or issues! The only bad part, the waiting, just no way I could try at a store tomorrow.

Same for me, I think it is more faithful to the 'real' thing. Will put it in front of my Barad-Dur :-)

It was available. It's just sold out already. I was on the fence about it, so I looked last night and it was definitely available round 1am when I looked and I looked again maybe 11am or so and it was still available, but when I checked again after lunch, it was gone.

Part of me has FOMO, but I couldn't bring myself to spend $700 right now just to get the GWP just because it was Lord of the Rings, because to be honest, it's one of the worst GWP's i've ever seen! I'll admit though... if LEGO had just sprung for two stickers for eyes... I would have bought it last night.

I ordered in the USA Eastern time zone at about 12:20 am. The website was fast and responsive, it only took me a few minutes to order and pay, and I had my email confirmation within 5 minutes. When I looked again at about 5:30 am, it was still fast, and the Fell Beast was still available.

Now to call the contractor to have the new LEGO Room addition built…

Fellbeast (online) sold out in the Netherlands as well within 12 hours, while normally we're on of the last ones to sell out on set related GWP compared to other countries. I went to the store to pick it up and for the first time I can remember there was a long line (30-45 min) and when I finally purchased the set they were low on stock on both Barad dur and fellbeast GWP. Some people in the line probably didn't get one or the other.

I was refreshing the site for an hour after midnight (Sweden) before I could finally purchase Barad-dûr. Had to sit through a waiting queue but once that was done I had no issues.

Now not even 12 hours later when I checked back the Fell Beast seems to be gone here too. Really unfortunate to be honest, I expected it to last a while longer.

Sold out quickly as expected, even in Stores. Many of them seem to have sold all GWPs within less than a hour. Lego should really try to get better at anticipating demand.

Congratulations to those of you who managed to buy Barad Dur with the Fellbeast in time. My condolences to those who weren’t so lucky.

Gwp sold out in UK, EU and Australia already.

I was on the fence and had it in my basket but didn't pull the trigger. now the gwp is sold out that's made my mind up. I'll wait and see if it's reduced in the future. £400 is alot for a tower I'm not sure I can put anywhere!
