Star Fox Inspiration

Ok, guys, check this out. I recently started playing Starfox: Command for the DS a few days ago, and realized that the vehicles are really cool. I want to build a few of the vehicles, but there aren't enough pics that I can find to accurately make any. I'm shooting for an Arwing (Star fox's fighter), a Wolfen (Star wolf's fighter) and a Landmaster Tank (Star Fox's ground vehicle). Possibly an Arwing or Wolfen variant from Command. Also, the Landmaster Tank I'm shooting for has 4 wheels instead of tracks, just because I like that one better. (this is the one from Assault, by the way.) I may even try the sub from Star Fox 64 (forgot the name) If I can get enough pics. So If anyone has In-game pics of these vehicles or have pics of MOC's, I would much appreaciate it, and it would definately help me with my future MOC's.

Note: I have already seen all the Brickshelf pics for the Arwing, Wolfen and Landmaster, so don't bother with those. Otherwise, post away your finds! I can't make this happen without my fellow EuroBricks members help! Once again any pics will be much appreciated! *y*

EDIT: If you want to make your own MOC, I'd welcome the pics here, as long as they're StarFox related!

Good topic idea Dark Sword Ragnarok.

I've never actually played a Starfox game, :-$ but he is my favorite character in Mario Smash Bros Brawl. >:-)

For pics of Starfox vehicles and vessels just google the vehicles name and look at the image results. ;-)

Star fox is pretty cool in stuff so do a MOC of some ships is a great idea. So good luck in your MOC ;-).

Well, with an Arwing and a Landmaster, your biggest difficulty will be the purple sections. So I recommend this; don't stress yourself about the purple, as it's a scarce colour in Lego, and just follow that Arwing MOC Tarfful posted, as that had the right idea. If you want to make it really good, try to use SNOT as well, as that will add to the sleek feel of the vehicles.

When I tryed to make this years ago when I got back into Lylat Wars 64.

I used this piece as the Purple Bits: Just Imagine it on the side (Cant find the pieces to clip together :-D) Good eh?

Oh my god! I love making star fox Mocs! I just made this really great wolfen out of some spare parts and the v wing. the v wing has to be the greatest set you can get to make the wolfen with. Try it. I will try to get pics soon. I use black tiles for the windscreen becauswe making it minifig scale is too annoying for me. also, the arwing looks fine in most shades of blue.

Well all, keep this stuff coming! My MOC's are still in the planning stage, however. And, I wont really be able to start till maybe sunday, monday, because I am having my wisdom teeth removed tomorrow morning and will be on pain meds for a few days. *sing* *n* Braces suck.

Anyway, if anyone gets a MOC done, post away! I wont be back on till next week monday most likely, maybe earlier, so dont expect me to post for a few days. See you all later!

and i'm no help what so ever with starfox. The only bit i know from starcraft is "DO A BARREL ROLL" because its a meme.

you can also use super smash bros brawl as inspiration, as it has wolf, falco, and fox in it. but dont even bother making minifigs unless its custom parts, becuse there arent any good pieces for fox. as for pics, just search "arwing" or "landmaster" on ggogle ;-)

Though it's not what the topic is about, I suggest broadening the theme to a nintendo or video-game based contest ^.^ - if it's Nintendo, perhaps the prize could be Wii Points XD

(Of course, were that to happen I'd make a kick-awesome Metroid or Star Fox MOC...The main reason that I want the UCS Star Destroyer is to build a large model of Meta Ridley >=D)
