Favorite Anime and manga.

What's your favorite anime or manga? Mine are as follows:

Anime: DBZ- Awsome! Long and easy to come back to.

Trigun- Again, awsome! Sci-fi twist on the Wild West.

Rorouni Kenshin- For the third time, awsome! The deadly assasin who can't get away from his past.

Manga: Naruto- I know the english show sucks but the manga is actually good!

Megaman NT Warrior- Don't laugh. If you're a fan of the games pick it up.

Edit: Another anime I love is Initial D, and another manga is Digimon.

Macross Saga, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Ghost in the Shell, Full Metal Panic, Deathnote, Gunslinger Girl, Big O, Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, Kurau, Ergo Proxy, just to name a few. There are still many more I want to see.

But I do know the Dragonball series, from which Dragonball Z is my absolute favorite :'-)

And if you say Digimon is Manga, I say Digimon is my favorite manga series ;-)

Although, just the first two seasons ;-)

Well, Digimon was an anime before the manga. It's just so hard to find the show, I haven't seen it in years. That's why I put it as a manga. *Sigh* The days when kids could watch good anime.

I give to you, Vash the Stampede, the protagonist of Trigun! If you see the anime, grab it! You won't be dissapointed.

I've heard of Appleseed and Ghost in the Shell, but, I've never seen them. As for Hayao Miyazaki, I don't like his work. I like Princess Mononoke alright, just not his other stuff.

Blah, I'd be citing a million different titles if I were to go too in-depth.

So I'll just say what I'm intrigued by right now.

Currently enjoying "Kino's Adventure" on the Anime Channel. (On-Demand cable is AWESOME).

As for manga, though it updates VERY infrequently, "GantZ" seems to be the shit. They don't hold back on the awesomeness and the dynamic, 2-page spreads are to die for.

I think my favourite anime movie is Spirited Away or if you count it, FFVII Advent Children. I've never really seen anime series'.

In Anime movies, my absolute best is My Neighbour Totora by Miyazaki. And Spirited Away is a close second. then of course, there's Akira, by Katsuhiro Otomo.

in the anime series, I Full Metal Alchemist, that show treated some really great themes and had far more depth than I initially expected

As for manga, the original Battle Angel Alita serie is still one of my all time favorite. But I can't stand his new last order serie... It scraps most of the greatness of the original 9 volumes and keeps on going forever while actually not leading anywhere... Feels like the editor found a nice cow to milk and won't let go untill there's only the bones left ...

And I love Dragonball, too. But not the Anime, the anime's too slow, they just keep watching each other while waiting to draw a punch for two third of an episode and then they start over in the next one and so on... gets pretty boring rather quickly...

I don't watch all that much anime, but I did love Grenadier, Ghost in the Shell and Dragon Pin... er Dragonball Z. The two episodes I've seen of Cowboy Bebop were pretty cool too.
