April 4, 200816 yr Awesome! When I was 3, I loved elmo! Edited April 4, 200816 yr by Flatfoot Thompsen
April 4, 200816 yr Ha, thats brilliant, you've perfectly captured hos essence in brick form. Good job. *sweet*
April 4, 200816 yr HAW! That's awesome! Despite the issues I have with Elmo, that's still pretty cool. Makes me think the Muppets would be a cool LEGO license as long as it was just for a line of sculptures and perhaps some Duplo stuff and not a regular System theme. I'd buy a big sculpture Cookie monster in an instant. Plus, with all the basic colors they'd make great parts packs

I'd buy a big sculpture Cookie monster in an instant. Plus, with all the basic colors they'd make great parts packs I don't know. I'd buy an Electric Mayhem tour bus/stage set. That would be sweet. As for Elmo here, THis is really great. I don't see many sculptures, and I understand why that is, but this is nice. The square and studded aspects of the bricks really add to the furry feel. The hand looks weaker than the rest of him, but I imagine that has to do with the scale and the fact that conveying Elmo's attached fingers in brick form is rather difficult. I see a lot of Elmo since my 16m old sone is learning a lot from him now. TPM
April 5, 200816 yr Cool ! Funny thing is that I find the old school blockyness bad on 10181 Eiffel Tower, but on this one it looks just great. Mig

More pictures and information on this MOC here: LEGO Elmo Sculpture I noticed your avatar in your "Hi, it's me" thread, but forgot to comment. Your avatar looks great, and I'm glad to see it's actually a complete model done by yourself. Wow, nice work, cute face it got. Front
