Scouty Posted July 1, 2008 Posted July 1, 2008 K-13 - Hallway of Neb Monastery You are all small, pesky flies to me! I will get you! He thrust another attack, but it was dodged. Finally, Flynt came back with the shield. Before he could give it to him, Erik was set to be openly attacked by a spell from the Dark Prince. Acting quickly Flynt yelled and threw the shield to Erik. Erik!!! CATCH! Erik was able to catch the shield and reflect the spell. The spell went back to its conjurer and struck him hard...going through his impossibly strong armor. It seemed to burn him furiously, as the spell was one to cause a fatality. The Prince started to fall back. The others started to advance, but were halted by wall of fire created by the Prince of Darkness. Ahhhhhahhhh...You....you think this is...the last of me??? YOU ARE MISTAKEN! The Prince started coughing loudly... This is not the end! The Black Wraith Demons will...will be here by summer's end...and with the aid of I and another Prince....we WILL destro....destroy....you...you... The Prince of Darkness, vanished in a puff of smoke. He was defeated. The group looked on; at the destruction that had happened...
WhiteFang Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 Location: K13 (Outside the Healer’s room, Neb Monastery, base of Mount Sophia, Western region of Black Knights Kingdom) Grandoth showed an astonishing expression and said “Where did he go to? Will he ever return?” Erik showed a faded smile and added “The Prince of Darkness will return, but not now. The shield earlier which is known as Divine Shield, belong to the Leader of the Nine. It is fortunate that Flynt managed to get it in time. Let’s return to the dining hall.” Adrick and Cecil lifted Siloux up. Erik turned towards him and examined his wound and asked “Did the healers poured a potion onto his wounds?” Cecil replied “Yes, it’s was a bright pink fluid.” Erik showed a sigh of relief “Your friend, Siloux had escaped death. The Potion of Antivien had done the trick. However, too much of that may endanger his life. Lord Kenneth, how is your injuries?” Lord Kenneth pulled himself up from the floor and replied “Erik, I am fine. Maybe, you can try explaining what is Prince of Darkness about? And he mentioned another Prince as well.” Erik gathered everyone together “Let’s discuss this in the hall.” At the same time, another group of healers arrived and apologized to his master for their late arrival. Erik requested them to clean up the scene, and pray for their fellow healers’ death. The rest of them proceed to the dining hall, filled with many more mysterious questions.
Scouty Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 K-13 (Dining Hall of Neb Monastery) Erik had insisted that everyone rest and eat before they do anything else. So, they ate and they rested. Until... Erik, how did that Prince get in here? Maybe my friends would like to answer this question, they were in there after all. Since Siloux was unconscious, I suppose I'll do the honor. The healers began to poor a potion onto Siloux's leg. The vile was small and didn't contain much. The healer's had told me while they were making it that it's bright pink glow would destroy the blackness in the leg, and turn it whole and its normal self. This did not happen. At first touch, it turned black in color, and seeped into Siloux's leg. After a little bit, the black color drained from Siloux's leg, and began to form a black goo, which bubbled and spat out puffs of smoke. All of a sudden, there was a lot of smoke, and a figure appeared. I think that the Prince used Siloux's leg to get into the monastery. He said these exact words before leaving me and Siloux: "I must thank you for your hospitality of your leg, young man. Because of you, I am able to roam in Neb Monastery and destroy it to the ground, as the King of Darkness would like! I will spare you and your friend, but should I see you again, I will have nothing to stop me from killing you!" And that's how he got in here. But Erik, I'm sure everyone is thinking this, who is the Prince? Are there others? And what about the King of Darkness? Many, many questions for such an old man, a priest, even! You assume that I would know everything? No! Of course not!! I know everything...well almost everything. Anyway, the Prince of Darkness is a creature that is used by the King to do his bidding. Knowing that one wasn't enough, he made more... How many, I am not sure, but he has made at least 5 or so Princes... And these Princes are unlike any other beast the King has made. Princes are very, very powerful and can do much damage. The one we encountered was probably one of the younger, less powerful ones. They'll do anything to get their job done, even straying off of orders to do their own bidding. They are truly the most nefarious beasts created by the King... The King of Darkness? Nothing is known about him, except that he sits in a throne room filled with flames and that he is so impossibly strong, he could decimate a town with the speed of a bolt of lightning. Lord Kenneth asked another question. Why would they want to destroy this out of the way monastery? There are several reasons...One, I am one of the nine that can conjure up the armor that could destroy them with little effort...and that it houses the shield which is used to conjure said armor. When the Kingdom of Darkness was defeated, and their warriors saw what the armor did...they became so afraid of it that they set out to destroy it. Fortunately, the armor was sent back to the Nine and the weakened beasts were taken care of. To this day, the King sends off the casual attack to prevent the armor from ever being able to return, and thus proceed to conquer these lands. Siloux, to everyone's surprise, began to talk: With...this even.t...what will you do? What...what is our goal? Do not talk, friend, you are so very weak...in fact, you must go straight to a bed! Erik motioned for a couple of aids to help Siloux to a room, but Siloux resisted and shot another question at Erik, knowing he wouldn't get the answer from the other one. Answer me this at least, so that I may go to bed peacefully...Can I stay here and train with you White Magic so that I can further help prevent from these things ever happening again? Erik was struck... Yes...yes, yes of course...yes, you may. Satisfied, Siloux let the aids help him to his room. Diana asked Siloux's question again. What is your plan of action though? We have to act quickly so that we can defend our home! I need to stay here and protect the monastery from any other attacks and also train your friend. My suggestion for you is to seek the other 7 members so that we can use the armor to vanquish our foes! Getting to them should be no problem, none of them are more than two days away on foot. I'll even mark on a map their locations...Bluervo, the ever so fast bird, can help by delivering messages to the others to come here. But enough talk, it is late and we must all go to bed! We had a tough and long day! We can talk more in the morning.
Shadows Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 ??? Druth Castle Roof Nothing happens. That was a bit of an anticlimax. Did you push it hard enough? Do I look weak to you, woman? Well, you are pretty old. You seem to forget that when you're chasing after me. I never said you were too old. Great. Now what? I have this book that might help. Strantor produces a small book, which he hands to Aluvar. Aluvar begins thumbing through the chapters. AHA! Oh crap. Alvy! Oh, excuse me, I'm sorry. What's wrong? Well, according to this, it only works during a full moon. That's a week away! I have some ideas for how we can pass the time. We may not have a week. We may have a year. We can't take chances standing around. Oh honey, there wasn't going to be much standing involved. Aluvar begins spiraling his hands, bringing them together with a clap. The wind howls, but everything else appears the same. New dance step? No. We just jumped forward a week. Spoilsport. I didn't even feel it! He's smooth. He's had a lot of time to practice. So have you, my dear. Shall we not talk about that now? Fine. Aluvar reaches out with his staff again and presses the button. All hell breaks loose. K-19 Crown Kingdom Castle Town A Dark Alley If what he told us is correct, this is the place. This is a really bad side of town. I've never been here before. It doesn't seem that bad. What about that? Shadows glances over and sees a very large man approaching carrying an axe in one hand and a strange shield in the other. Ah. Is that really all you have to say about the matter? He looks dangerous! Aren't you going to do something? Of course I am. Shadows steps towards the man, a scowl on his face. The man bares his teeth and growls. Shadows does the same in return. Poor lad has flipped. Flipped what? His wig. He wears a wig? Er. No. It's... nevermind, we're all going to die, why does it matter? Fair enough point, but if he wears a wig, I'd like to know about it. He doesn't. I don't think. How should I know? Shadows takes another step toward the man, who takes another step toward him. You lousy, no good, son of a troll, I thought I warned you what would happen if I ever ran into you again like this. You did. It's time. That it is. The man extends his arm, handing Shadows his axe, then his shield. What the... Hello Princess. Uh. Hello. Do I know you? I wouldn't think so. I'm not from now. Here. No, now. Or here, You're half right there. Oh no. You're another one of those. Allow me to introduce Glarg, my personal assistant. Personal assistant? You always like them gullble, huh Shadows? Shush. Always, huh? Looks like we have some talking to do, Glarg. Yeah, maybe later, right now we're supposed to be on a mission. Now he gets serious about the mission... Shadows explains the plan to Glarg, who seems all too familiar with this kind of operation. After a few minutes, he leaves. That didn't seem to do us much good. Oh, you have no idea. Let's go. Where? The Rusty Pike. Oh great. Still taking me to all the nicest places. That's where our skellie is operating out of, so I think it's reasonable to go there. So, what's the plan? Stay out of the way. Well, I never! That's what I'm worried about... ??? The terrain is rocky and shrouded in fog. Lush vegetation grows everywhere. The sound of water can be heard in the distance. Aluvar... where are we? I have no idea. If this is where attackers are sent, and it's supposed to trap them, how exactly do we get back home? Aluvar and Elmyra look at each other for a moment, then at Strantor, then all around. You know... I wish you'd asked that BEFORE we came here. Oh. Well... A strange man walks up. Oh, hello there! You must be the replacements for the show! I'm your host, Hank Hinckle-Dinkleman! Grab your stuff and follow me, we've got to get filming, we're behind schedule! Hank walks off, still talking. I know where we are now. Where? Hell.

Lord Kenneth turned his back and saw Erik and Adrick standing at the corner, discussing some important matters. Bluervo interrupted Lord Kenneth’s thoughts and said “Now, why this Erik has to command me to do such chorus for him. Why don’t we ask Fernando? He will need to do some exercise.” Lord Kenneth replied “It’s a pity that Fernando is not with us. Otherwise, both of you can share the workload.” As they were walking back, Princess Diana said “The remaining seven members. I wonder who they are. The Black Wraith Demons are a threat to our kingdom. What do they want from us?” Lord Kenneth nodded his head “I have no idea but we must stop their plans no matter what. Earlier ago, did you see how both Ninja fight against the Prince of Darkness. Their speed is so unpredictable and we could not get a clear sight.” Bluervo added “Stop worrying about other things. Have an early rest, and we shall continue this tomorrow.” Back at the dining hall, where Adrick and Erik stood and discussed. Adrick’s expression showing sights of worries and said “Old friend, are you sure we are able to get the rest to join us in Neb Monastery. With both our powers, I am sure we can avert this disaster.” Erik showed a disappointing look “We have limits on our current powers, and we can’t go as far as we used to. Although, we managed to stop the assault today, but there is no promise that we can stop the next assault again. Furthermore, it’s time for us to reunite again. After all, it’s our sworn duty to exterminate them from this dimension.” Adrick pointed to the two ninja which stood there and asked “These two are not normal ninja? I am sure they belong to one of the special clans in the Northern Highlands.” Erik smiled “These are the subordinates of Hayate Krinio. I must apologies that I cannot divulge any further. When the time is ripe, I will tell you what happen. Right now, we should be worrying about these foul demons.” He showed a smile and said “Erik, you are right. We will continue our discussion tomorrow.”

Can you get a horse and carriage ready in the morning? I would like to put the boy in it and off to his home. He has endured too much of this. I feel he should go to his home. You mean Siloux, sir? Yes, him, yes. Please keep this a secret until the morning, at least. Of course, Erik. It'll be unknown 'till the morning. Erik thanked aid, and went to his room, to finally rest. The aid rushed off to prepare for the boy's journey.
WhiteFang Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 Location: K13 (Dining Hall, Neb Monastery, base of Mount Sophia, Western region of Black Knights Kingdom) After a series of events happening in Neb Monastery, Black Wraith Demons had proven to be more than just a demon. There is some form or hierarchy within this mysterious force of evil that is lurking within our lands. Calling themselves as Prince of Darkness had indeed threatened Lord Kenneth and the rest, feeling much stress than before. They will need to embark on a new quest, to search for the remaining seven. Nothing seemed to be moving smoothly, and many of their friends especially Siloux whom had escaped death more than once. As the night goes by, they slept peacefully in the chambers of Neb Monastery, giving them enough rest to rejuvenate themselves. As day breaks, they slowly make their way to the Dining hall, where Erik and Adrick is sitting at the end of the table. Lord Kenneth went ahead and asked “Erik, all of us here including Bluervo will assist in finding the remaining seven. Is it true that all of them are located in our lands?” Erik smiled and said “I know where they are, but I don’t know their real exact location. Some of them may have moved elsewhere. I will give you the rough coordinates to help in your findings. Unfortunately, Adrick and I will not be able to join in this mission.” Lord Kenneth exclaimed and said “How can we move on without the help from either of you?” Erik chuckled and looked into their eyes with confident “Lord Kenneth, Princess Diana, Flynt, Grandoth, Cecil and Bluervo, This will be a test of determination from all of you. This is a rare combination to see different kingdoms working together.” Cecil interrupted the conversation and added “How about Siloux? Won’t he be joining us?” Erik looked at the far end of the corridor, and said nothing. Cecil stood quietly, thinking whether Erik has agreed to train Siloux in white magic.

Half of his forces are severely ambushed by the demons. Karen is leading the soldiers in battle formation, trying to keep the soldiers firm on the ground. While Lord Calvin had managed to push back and eliminate the remaining black wraith demons with one of the techniques from Shadow Spear which is known as “Neit Crescent”. Dyke showed an evil smile and said “Lord Calvin, it’s unwise of you to use Neit Crescent. By using this technique, it seemed you have your powers reduced by half. Shadow Spear is a double edge weapon for young users like you. You don’t have enough capacity yet, to wield the true power of Shadow Spear. By using a higher technique than your usual capacity will only trigger your powers to a temporarily maximum capacity, and destroy half of your original power capacity. You are still a greenhorn, Lord Calvin.” Lord Calvin was startled and shocked to discover that Dyke knew his weakness of Shadow Spear. It is true, that Shadow Spear holds unimaginable power. But in order to display the true power, one must hold high endurance and capacity of power within its body to withstand the drainage. He gripped his shadow spear tightly, and shouted with his might “Look here, I am not scared of you. Prepare the wraith of Neit Crescent.” He thruster his Shadow Spear, swinging back and forth, forming the dark crescents. Without hesitation, he released both crescents. Dyke blocked both of them with its bare hands and forced it to the ground. Lord Calvin felt much weaker than before. Karen aim Dyke with her Twin Strike, hoping to injured him from behind. Just before the shots landed on him, a black barrier appeared from his back and deflected her attacks. He turned his head and raised his arm to release his dark beam. Karen could not escape and was prepared to give in to her fate. Suddenly, a shining white light flashed across the ground, blow away the dark beam. Lord Calvin was shielding Karen, from danger. He was barely able to stand up on its own, using Shadow Spear as its support to balance himself. Dyke was extremely unpleased, but yet happy to know that Lord Calvin had met his limits by over utilize Shadow Spear’s power. Dyke walked slowly and approached the vulnerable Lord Calvin, showing a pleasing smile and said “It’s time for you to give your body to me.”
Shadows Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 An island in another dimension Ok people, we're going to start with some confessionals, so let's all line up and you can tell us what you really think of the other contestants in the privacy of The Booth. What is that annoying man talking about? I'm not completely sure, but Shadows was on one of these shows once, and he said it was positively horrible. Show? Oh no... we're on television? This really is hell. Not just television. A 'reality' show. NO! No way. I'm not going to be involved in this. Let's just leave. That's a great idea. Now tell me how we're supposed to do that. I have a question. What is it Strantor? What is television? You don't get out much, do you? Time travel usually makes me sick. I'm not sure why this jump didn't. Television is... hard to explain, but it's evil. And Hank is in charge around here, that seems pretty obvious. So he's the unimaginable evil we need to stop? He doesn't look so tough, I think we can take him. I'd take him. Just a hunch dear, but I don't think he's interested. Men... Aluvar, Elmyra and Strantor reach the front of the line. Aluvar walks into the booth. Ok, so you're new here, which means you probably don't have an opinion on anything, but don't let that stop you. Tell us what you're thinking. Er. Um. Alright. Wait. Cut! Why are you dressed like that, you look absolutely silly! I look silly? Haven't you seen a mirror lately? Why! Don't you get cheeky with me or I'll throw you off this island! I... I'm sorry. I'm just, um, scared and all. This is my first tv show, you know. Right, of course. I should have known. Well, first we need to do something about those clothes. Here, put this on and I'll be back in a minute. Hank hands Aluvar a hanger with some new clothes and leaves the booth. Aluvar looks at the clothes, then quickly changes. Hank returns a few minutes later. Oh yes, that's much better. You're going to be our wise and experienced naturalist type. The long beard and all, people will just assume you're an old hippie. Right, yes, that's me. Peace, dude. Perfect! Now, let's get this confessional done. Sure. Let me see here. Well, I'm very excited to be here, of course. I really want to meet everyone else and get to know them and I'm sure we can all be good friends. Oh, you've got a lot to learn about this game. Well, I am new. Aside from us, has anyone else joined late, like in the last day or so? Uh... yeah. There was another new arrival. He's a strange one though. Really? Which one? Oh, I don't know now, you hippie types all look the same to me. Hmmm... Well, I can't wait to get started! Yeah. That was the worst confessional ever. I hope the other new arrivals do a little better. Hank and Aluvar leave the booth. Hanks shows Elmyra in next. Two hours pass. Finally, Hank comes stumbling out. I...I...I... I say lad, you look like you're in some distress. Distress? Are you kidding me? It was fabulous, but then she wouldn't stop. On and on, she was relentless! She ... ... never stops talking! Aluvar and Strantor laugh a bit, then Elmyra steps out of the booth in a string bikini. Aluvar gulps. Strantor just stares. Not bad for an old broad, huh? Someone in the crew whistles. K-19 Crown Kingdom Castle Town Near the Rusty Pike Pub Everyone know what to do? I don't like this... I think it's a good plan. You would. I'm going in. Good luck, Glarg. Now, let's get in position. How do you know what our general will do? He doesn't have much choice, he can't risk being discovered. Flangdor, head in now. I... oh... fine! I might as well! Shadows and Alyss go around the building and take positions on either side of the back door. A minute passes. Suddenly, there is a loud commotion inside the building as Glarg picks a fight with Flangdor, then starts throwing him around the room. Someone calls for the Royal Guard, who arrive quickly. The back door flies open and a cloaked figure runs out, tripping on the wire that Shadows placed across the doorway and landing in a heap of bones and cloth. Shadows immediately casts a containment field around the figure. See? That was easy. I'm impressed. Oh. What? What about Glarg and Flangdor? ...and the guards. I'll take care of it. Alyss marches in through the back door and calls off the guards, who were closing in on Glarg. But Princess, we have our orders. Yes, you do. From me. Right! We'll be leaving now. If you need us... Goodbye. Yes ma'am. The guards quickly leave. Alyss hands the bartender some coins and escorts Glarg and Flangdor out the back door, which then slams behind them. I don't think they appreciated our business. Now, let's take this one back to the castle and get a few answers. I won't talk, you can't make me. Then the royal dogs will enjoy your company instead. I... don't know anything. I bet you'll come up with something. Shadows waves his hand and the skellie general is wrapped in his own cloak until it looks like a bag. Glarg picks him up, throws him over his shoulder, and the whole group heads back to Crown castle to see what they can learn.
WhiteFang Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 Location: M11 (Oldennock, Keala Region, Northern part of Black Knight Kingdom) Lord Calvin and Karen can barely move away from Dyke’s reach. Hope seemed to be seeping away from them until Lord Calvin bended down, and a small parcel roll out from his waist. It caught Dyke’s sight and approached to it. Lord Calvin shouted while trying to reach the small parcel “Get away from it.” Dyke laughed loudly and said “I can do whatever I like.” Dyke reached for the small parcel and unveils the cloth. To his surprise, it was actually the sacred Dragon Stone, from Dragon Masters Kingdom. Dyke pointed to them and said to them “I have the Dragon Stone in my possession. With it, we will have nothing to fear.” Suddenly, a glaring red light was beaming brightly from the stone and blinded Dyke’s sight. “I can’t see anything. It’s so bright. Switch it off.” He let go of the Dragon Stone, and it emitted a dragon hologram from it. It opened its raging mouth and directed his scarlet light towards Dyke. Dyke was screaming in terrible pain, fell to his knees. Seeing his small fragile body lying onto the ground, a black enormous shadow is seen to be pushing away from the small boy. The shadow had left from the small boy, leaving him motionless. Dyke stared at them with anger and fatigue “You are blessed to have the Dragon Stone to protect you this round. Next time, you will not be so lucky.” He vanished into thin air, leaving no traces behind. Lord Calvin lifted himself up and walked towards the Dragon Stone and kept it safe within his possession. “This stone had saved our lives.” Karen nodded and shouted “This small boy is still breathing.” Lord Calvin replied “Save him. We will return to Majestic Tower. Gather the rest of the survivors. We are heading back now.” At the same time, within his mind, he is thinking deeply and understands that Dyke Zola is one formidable enemy that he had ever encountered that understands the weakness of Shadow Spear.
Shadows Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 An island in another dimension Set of a television Survivor-style show I know this place is bad, but I'm sort of enjoying this. You would. Hey, it's been a long time since I got to dress like this and have men paying attention to me on a tropical island. It's refreshing. You're not exactly a young woman anymore, you're embarassing yourself. Bah! I've still got it, and they want it. I've noticed... Alvy! You're jealous! I... aw... I'm not! I'm just... distracted. Oh... Are you two about done? What? Could that be the other hippie, over there? I don't really understand what a hippie is, but that guy looks like you, sort of... Which one? Oh, I don't know, the one with the two foot long beard and the huge eyebrows and the scowly expression. He's not nearly as cute as Alvy. Would you put a cork in it? I... fine. I'll do one better. Elmyra walks over to the other bearded man, putting on her best strut and extra motion in the ocean. I sort of hope it's him. Why? If it isn't, she's going to give the poor man a heart attack. Aluvar and Strantor chuckle as Elmyra begins talking to the man. He seems distracted, unable to concentrate well, but he certainly pays attention as she walks away. He's not the one. How can you be so sure? It seemed like he was having a hard time making eye contact. Honey, any man would have a hard time making eye contact with this body in front of them, and he is a man. She has a point there. Two, actually. That was terrible. No, really. She said that any man would have a hard time and that he is a man, so she made two points. Oh, I thought you were commenting on her ... I was, ok? Now shut up. Alvy! Hank walks over. Ok, people, we're about to start our first challenge, and I know you're all going to love it! Oh great. What is it? LIMBO CONTEST! Haha, you don't have a chance! Why not? You'll never be able to get those under a low bar! ALVY!
Dragonator Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 L7 Dragons Keep Lord Dragonator was still standing at the window when Grim entered, looking particularly grim. Not good news my lord, we encountered some... problems. Dragonator turned quickly from the window. What did you say? Don't speak in riddles, today of all days. The king is dead. Damn. Yes, damn indeed. It appears that in his madness he accidentally hung himself down in the dungeons where he was being held. How can someone accidentally hang themselves? He was in the Old Dungeon. Oh, that explains it. Even a sane man would hang themselves down there. Those dungeons are a reminder of this castles unfortunate history. Dragonator turns back to the window, thinking. I guess that however tragic this event is, it does come at a good time. My Lord? The world is beset by a terrible evil. I fear that this invasion that we have thwarted is only the beginning. This kingdom would never have survived under his rule. We need strong leaders now, although even that may not be enough to protect us from what I fear is coming. Only the dragons can truly do that. Was that all then? There is one other matter my Lord... Ah yes, what is it? Come on, spit it out. The case of... the successor... Ah yes, that is a delicate matter. The king had no children, and the next closest to the throne is Princess Ariana, who cannot rule the kingdom because of law. This could lead to a fight amongst the Houses to see who becomes the next king. I don't want to see another civil war like that of last century. You saw that? Um, no, why, do I look that old? No but... oh never mind. There is something else you should know. Continue. The king has, ah, that is, in his final wishes he... Get on with it please. He named you his successor. What!? Dragonator choked on the olive he had been slowly chewing a semt it flying across the room with a small burst of smoke. That was really weird... I can't be the king! Why not your majesty? Don't call me that! This could be terrible for the kingdom! Dragonator sank slowly onto a nearby chair. Then again, it could be a turn in fate that could see this kingdom survive the coming war. Dragonator sat for a moment, thinking. Which of the Houses are the most likely to oppose this succession? Well your maj- that is, my Lord, the two most powerful Houses right now are House Coliranth and House Dormon. Hmmm, House Dormon could give me some difficulty. Lord Rotrigous is the head of that House, and he has always opposed me on the council. However with a strong hand I think this could pull through. House Coliranth should be no problem, they know where their best interests lie. As long as their trade does not suffer to badly, they will not care to much either way. Dragonator stood from his chair, shaking his head. Right, it looks like it is time to take action. I will go view the war prisoners with a small guard, and then I must decide how to be rid of them. The money that Ankoria will pay to us for the return of their brave men should also help to secure my position in the eyes of many of the minor Houses. If need be I can always put some money in from my own coffers. In the meantime, I want you to do some information gathering. The main court will return from the north within a few days; when they do, you will be very busy. It was a bad move for the king to send the court on to the summer residence without himself and the council to watch over them. They have had an entire session to get out of hand. I want you to visit the heads of each of the major Houses, and pay special attention to those with strong Alliances, even if it is with minor Houses. You have been in my service long enough to understand the political currents here. I need to know what has been happening while I've been stuck down here with the king. Also explain what has happened over the long summer, and try and get an idea of where each house stands. I am trusting you, Grim. You can count on me my Lord. Have I ever let you down yet? Not too badly no. Now, I'd better be going. Can you find Majiko and send him down too, I need a word with him. I'll be preparing to leave from the entrance courtyard. The pair left the throne room, Grim heading off deeper into the keep to prepare for his duties and find Majiko, and Lord Dragonator to the entrance courtyard. In the throne room, a shadow slipped out from a hidden stairwell behind a large tapestry depicting a scene from the Battle of Klümgeur. Slowly, it crept across the room...
Shadows Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 A dark and foreboding castle in an unknown part of Dragonmasters Territory How odd... I just had a strange feeling run down my spine, Friar... What's that, Rotrigous? I fear that our King is dead. Of course he's dead, we're all trapped in this stupid castle until we figure out what happened! You've apparently been hitting the holy spirits a little too hard, give me back that bottle. Wha... uh... oh, right. I just had a strange feeling that some other King is dead. A lot of that going around. Yes, I suppose so. Have you seen the maid, recently? I think she just went up to her rooms. Ah, I should follow along, it isn't safe to wander these halls alone. Yes, of course, but don't do anything that I wouldn't do. What exactly wouldn't you do? Hmmm... I'm not really sure. Do make sure she says her prayers before bed, at least. CENSORED! CENSORED! FRIAR! CENSORED! We've both had enough wine, I think! CENSORED! CENSORED! Well, go on, or I'll have to escort her myself. CENSORED! Rotrigous and the Friar laugh for a minute, then Rotrigous leaves to catch up with the maid. Lord Savril walks over. What were you two talking about? Oh, nothing Lord SloppyJoes, I was just giving Rotrigous some advice. I see. What kind of advice? CENSORED! FRIAR! Well, she was going to be down there anyway! CENSORED! CENSORED! Byron walks over. What are you two talking about over here? It's very suspicious. Just kitties. Oh, I love kitties. Really furry kitties, or so I hear. I don't think there's enough booze in the whole place... Have you seen Sprinkles? No. Nope. Byron walks off as his Lordship and the Friar chuckle at his expense.
WhiteFang Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 Location: M11 (Oldennock, Keala Region, Northern part of Black Knight Kingdom) The small boy is still breathing but his pulse is getting much weaker. Karen noted that his life might be in danger, and decided to carry him behind Rune, her ride back to Majestic Tower. The rest of the soldiers stood up, and gathered their mates whom had sacrificed to the face of darkness. Lord Calvin looked at his men and felt ashamed of himself and thought “How could I ever let this unfortunate incident happened? I almost failed my mission as well.” Karen saw Lord Calvin in a daze and patted on his back and said “My Lord, do not try and anticipate of what we do not know. It is getting late. We should head to Majestic Tower immediately.” Lord Calvin nodded and requested his men to gather the remains and a small group of soldiers to escort back to the Capital. Location: K13 (Dining Hall, Neb Monastery, base of Mount Sophia, Western region of Black Knights Kingdom) At Neb Monastery, the rest of them were waiting for Erik’s reply. Siloux looked at Erik with sincerity and said “Erik, I want to learn White Magic from you. Let me stay with you.” Cecil went to Siloux and told him not to aggravate your injuries. Within a few moments, the healer ran in the dining hall and said “The carriage is prepared.” Lord Kenneth said to the rest “It’s time for us to leave to search for the remaining seven.” Erik halted them and said “That carriage is not meant for you. I have not told you, where to find them.” Erik walked towards Siloux and pat on his shoulders “Your training will start today. But, I will not accompany you at this stage. There is something you need to explore. Come here.” The healers assisted Siloux and followed Erik. The rest of them were confused and Princess Diana asked Adrick “What kind of training will he receive?” Adrick replied “I do not know as well.” Cecil followed them behind, hoping to find out Siloux’s fate.
Scouty Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 K-13 - Neb Monastery Soo....where am I going for training. I'm afraid that your training will not happen. I'm sending you back home. You have endured so much so far, I think it wise that you return to your home. But, but...what about my friends here? I think they can handle themselves. It's for your own benefit. You're a good lad, I don't want you to hurt yourself. Not like before. Can I at least say good bye? Erik didn't answer. Instead, he helped Siloux into the back of the carriage. I don't think it would be best to. Now, my friend will take you to your home and come back to me. Good luck! Keep him safe, will you? He'll be safe, master./color] Cecil, hidden behind a wall, was shocked. He ran back to the dining hall... The carriage shot off with a quick start, making its way to the land of the Forrestmen.
iamded Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 (OOC: Ah, the innuendo is flooding the Castle forum these days. ) L7: Dragon's Keep, Adym's workshop. Adym was still tinkering away, he was nearing completion, though he was exhausted. It had been quite a few days, he would eat when he was hungry and sleep when he was tired, regardless of the time of day. It didn't matter down in the bowels of the Keep. This was another of those tired times. Adym thought it was best to get some sleep, preferably in his bed this time instead of on a mat in the work-shop. It would probably be good to let Dragonator know he was nearly done, too. So, with a yawn, Adym made his way up the many stairs in search of Lord Dragonator (hmm... King Dragonator? That'll take some getting used to. ).
Scouty Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 K-13 - Neb Monastery Cecil shot back into the dining hall. Everyone was surprised... Siloux is being sent home! K-14 It'll be good to finally see my home again. It's been a while since I've been there. I'm sure, sir. Have you ever been in the Forestmen kingdom? This'll be my first time. What's it like? It's a beautiful land with huge forests and expansive plains. Everything is green and beautiful. It'll be a site to see for someone who hasn't been there before! That sounds lovely...What do you plan to do? Oh, I don't know. Settle down somewhere. Do something good...Anything could happen! Well, best of luck to you, sir!
WhiteFang Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 Location: K13 (Dining Hall, Neb Monastery, base of Mount Sophia, Western region of Black Knights Kingdom) Princess Diana ran up and grabbed hold of Cecil and showed a startled look “What do you mean by Siloux left us? He is injured and he is in no condition to leave us behind as well.” Cecil looks confused and said in a quick tone “I don’t know what is going on. It was too late for me to stop Erik from sending him away. I do not have any idea.” Everyone felt confused and Lord Kenneth pointed in front “That is the answer to our question.” And he asked Erik “What is going on? Why did you send Siloux away?” I don’t get it. He is injured and he is determined to learn white magic from you. Yet, you send him away without informing us. What is going on? He is our friend.” Adrick stomped his stick and shouted “Give Erik a break, won’t you? He will answer your questions in a moment.” Erik lay back in his old creaky rocking chair and looked at them and pauses a few moments, thinking deeply within his mind.
Scouty Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 K-13 Erik sat and looked down (though it would be hard for a minifigure to do so ) . Without picking up his head, he started to talk. I sent him away so he wouldn't get hurt again. He picked his head up and looked at the group. I hope you understand. He's off to his own adventure at home. Erik paused, and took a sip of a drink nearby. But we have more pressing matters. We need to find the rest of the members to gain an advantage against your enemy. So far, we have three. Lord Kenneth was confused. Three? Whose the third? That would be me, my friend... I'm terribly sorry for coming so late, I got caught up with some chores! This is Aarand. He lives just up the mountain. With the help of the bird we all so dearly love, I was able to contact him quickly. Yes, indeed. Glad to be of service. K-15 Siloux and the carriage driver continued their way on.
WhiteFang Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 Location: K13 (Dining Hall, Neb Monastery, base of Mount Sophia, Odessa region of Black Knights Kingdom) Princess Diana shouted at Erik “Siloux will not leave us without saying good bye to us. He was my friend, and we had been travelling together and had many adventures in our journey so far.” Lord Kenneth grabbed hold of her and told her to calm down. He said “Princess, please calm down. Erik had given his explanation. Right now, we have a critical situation at hand. We will look for Siloux once this is over.” She pushed Lord Kenneth aside, and stood behind them. Grandoth pointed at him, “Who is he? He sure sneaked up real quiet.” Bluervo added “He was in this room all this while, standing at that far corner.” Flynt said “I thought he was one of the healers.” Lord Kenneth looked at Aarand and asked “You are Aarand? What is your surname? I had never heard of you before, in Odessa Region.” Adrick interrupted “All of us are quite uptight at the moment. Let’s calm down and listened to Erik. We have demons to slay and Priests to unite right now.” The rest of them gathered around the table, and listened to him.
Shadows Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 An island in another dimension Set of a television Survivor-style show Aluvar and a rather attractive young girl named Inga are hiking in the woods. So, what's your name? Aluv, uh, Al. Just Al. Sorry about that. I know my name and all, I just... I know, you guys always get so flustered around me, I don't know why... I won't bite. Well, not on the first date. This isn't a date, we're supposed to be out looking for supplies. Uh huh. I'm looking, are you? Inga turns and winks at Aluvar. Wha, uh, oh yes, I am. Look! It's a branch, we could use that! We're surrounded by trees, I don't think a branch would be that useful. Just then, a man springs out of the trees above them, brandishing a very large knife. Aaaaahhh. Well, that was startling. That wasn't nice at all, young man. Put down that silly knife. I don't think so, old man. You two are going to give me everything you've collected so far, hear me? I'm not deaf. Aluvar considers the situation, realising that he could magically toss the man halfway across the island, but that doing so would reveal his true nature. Instead, he hands the man a small backpack containing everything he had gathered thus far. And now you, sweetie. Hmmm? Oh, right. I guess you'll want this. Inga swings the branch, nearly taking off the man's head and sending his knife flying across the jungle. She then begins bashing him in the head with it, repeatedly, while singing some kind of old Swedish work song that Aluvar finds delightful. HEY! HEY! STOPPIT! JUST STOP! YOU CRAZY BI... Inga finally scores the perfect hit, knocking the man out. He slumps to the ground in a heap. Aluvar checks his pockets, but finds no identification except for a small note from the studio, giving him his daily orders: "Harass the tribes." He then recovers his backpack from where it landed next to the body. Looks like I was wrong after all. About what? This branch not being helpful. Inga and Aluvar laugh as they wander back to camp. K-18 Crown Castle Throne Room I can't believe you did something so foolish! It was perfectly safe, especially with Glarg along. That's not the point! You can't go off risking my daughter's life, just for some foolish idea! I... It was my idea. Uh. Oh. Just like your mother! I'm sorry Shadows, I should have known. Oh, uh... Alyss kicks Shadows while no one is looking. Hey! Yes, lad? I was just going to suggest that we review our new found information, and maybe I could get some ice for this leg? Ice? How would one do that in the summer? Nevermind. Sometimes I forget when this is. When? Do you mean where? No, he means when. It's a long story. So here's what we know... After reviewing the story to this point, the group becomes very quiet and begins looking around, then, desperately, they start making things up. I'm out of ideas. Me too. We caught all the bad guys here. We found out what they're doing. We don't know who is behind it. Aluvar probably does, by now. You think? He's pretty good at these things. Maybe we should find him. He could be anywhere or anytime. Oh, right. So what do we do? I don't know. Somewhere nearby, a man yells CUT! What are you people doing? You have pages and pages of script left! Do we? I didn't get any new pages... I haven't had any in a week. What? STAUDIE! Staudie... STAUDIE? Well, his name is Stauder, really, but we call him that, among other things. I understand that... A rather dim but familiar looking kid runs over. What do you want, boss? STAUDIE! STAUDIE! OH CRAP! You were never supposed to find out... Unbelievable. So this is why you haven't been getting anyone interviewed, you've been moonlighting here! Moonlighting? You mean he works for you too? He's my talk show co-host. You didn't know? It's quite a popular show, I'm surprised you never saw it. I don't watch TV, that stuff will rot your brain. Yeah, I know what you mean, look at what it's done to him. Shadows and the producer laugh at Staudie, who just blushes. Well, we'd better get this script situation cleared up, we still have a lot of story left. You have no idea... Shadows and Alyss walk over to craft services for a snack. I can't believe I let you talk me into this. What could be easier? We're playing ourselves, telling our own story! But they don't know that! Do you want to explain it to them? I had a hard enough time explaining it to dad. Oh yeah, I bet he'd love some of these meatballs. I'll take him some, I want to ask him how he got a bigger trailer than me. How do I get mixed up in these things? Just lucky, I guess. Yeah. I'm the lucky one. Uh huh.
Inertia Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Thaddius walked into the Throne Room, noticing the Scorch marks on the floor near the throne. The rest of the Chapter had landed in the square and were waiting for his return and a triumphant Flame Salute was blown into the air as part of the Celebrations. Thaddius overheard the conversation as he had entered. He walked up to Dragonator and knelt, Sword handle turned towards Lord Dragonator. "Lord, I couldn't have helped overhearing your Succession to the Throne, My Chapter and the entire Order promise their Fealty to you, future King!"
Dragonator Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 L7 Dragons Keep Lord Dragonator turned to exit the throne room and almost skewered himself on a sword blade. Gah! Oh, hello. Hmmm, we really need to increase security around here, these men have excellent hearing! It's good to have you with me Thaddius. Would you be willing to accompany me down to the where the Ankorians are being held? Excellent. The pair left the throne room and made their way down to the entrance hall, where Majiko was waiting. That was fast. Yes, that Grim was very insistent. Well, your here now. Once I have gone to deal with the Ankorian scum, you and I need to discuss a few... matters... in relation to that project I have Adym working on. Ah, right. I shall await your return then. Thank you, my friend. There shall be many celebrations tonight! Lord Dragonator left the foyer, and made his way out into the sunshine. There, he met up with a small contingent of Royal Guards who were to escort him down to the city wall. Dragonator mounted his black war-horse and they set off, with a pair of Dragons flanking him. Thaddius rode out on Drayn, and a Captain from the Central Squadron rode on Blazewing. They rode down to the Eastern Gate, where the prisoners were being held in the camp outside...
WhiteFang Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 Location: K13 (Dining Hall, Neb Monastery, base of Mount Sophia, Odessa region of Black Knights Kingdom) Erik looked at everyone and said “Let me introduced him officially. He is Aarand Blakemore, the third member of Symbol of the Nine. He was actually living up in Mount Sophia. I had informed one of my healers to summon him to the hall.” Aarand added “Indeed, my friends. Erik and Adrick had explained the situation to me, and I will definitely assist all of you.” Flynt looked around and said “Now, there are six more members for us to gather. Where can we start finding them?” Erik replied “I will reveal the location of 2 members that is near to our vicinity.” Erik walked forward and handed a scroll to Lord Kenneth and said “Keep this scroll safe. It will reveal the names of the fourth and fifth members. This scroll, will act as a proof that this order is valid, for us to reunite again. Furthermore, the rest of the members may have weird tempers, and claim not to interfere with world matters anymore.” Lord Kenneth stared at the scroll and keeps it safe “Rest assured. We will find them and reunite all of you, sending the demons back into oblivion.” Erik pointed to Bluervo “Bluervo will be useful to sniff out the rest, and guide all of you.” Bluervo squawked “Oh great, now I will have more work to do.” Adrick chuckled “Bluervo, you are a talented parrot that is trained by Aluvar. You are a smart one.” Bluervo circled around them, and was left in deep thoughts. Princess Diana did not participate in the discussion, and was thinking why Siloux had left. Erik moved towards Princess Diana and said “Be strong, my Princess. Lord Kenneth and the rest need your power.” She controlled her emotions and pulled herself up. She did not mutter a word, and stood behind.” Lord Kenneth turned to the three priests and asked “Is anyone of you joining us? Adrick showed a disappointing look and said “I must apologies. None of us will be travelling with you. We must make preparations in Neb Monastery, for the upcoming invasion.” The rest of them felt stress and tension was formed in the rest of their minds. They do not know if they are able to accomplish this mission or not.
AwesomeStar Posted July 27, 2008 Posted July 27, 2008 G11, In the Black Falcon Lands. Kian and Bardoc were hungry, they were tired and they were fed up of the miserable weather and constant danger. They had narrowly evaded their attackers, and were pretty sure that they were hunting them down. The two men were sitting in a small cave, with rain pouring down outside the rock cavern. "I am starving!" said Bardoc to Kian. Kian just ignored him. He had been saying the same thing for 2 days now. He stared outside and tried to spot their attackers. Who WERE they?
