I like the in-universe vehicle but I don't know if this new AT-AP is really worthful for me at 75€, since I already own the 7671 and the mingifgs are not really exciting. Hmm, I'd recommend watching a comparison video, MnRproductions actually has a decent video comparing all 3 versions. Judging by that I'd say definitely get it but wait for a discount or use some saved up VIP points to bring the price down. It's certainly a good size and looks great in a modern Clone Wars era display. By far the most accurate rendition of the walker in LEGO and the build is incredibly sturdy with a good amount of heft. Heck, I bet it could could survive being thrown at the wall a few times. Edited February 13, 2019 by ToaDraco Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 (edited) A Captain Antilles minifig has leaked on IG. I think this semi-confirms a certain rumour Edited February 13, 2019 by Lego-Freak Quote

If it's true I'm really excited for summer wave. There was a double sided head leaked on IG a while ago that looks like a dark side Anakin. Thought it might be for Kylo in the new R vs K set except it didn't have his mole printed on and now we know it isn't his face. Maybe an unknown retailer exclusive? Quote
Balrogofmorgoth Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 Captain Antilles leaked, it’s gotta be either from the advent calendar or confirmation of a certain rumor that has been outlawed in this thread... Quote
Henry Bricklider Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 (edited) I saw the Captain Antilles and I am ecstatic! I love the new figure and I am so hyped to get it. Whether it is in the advent calendar or a Tantive IV remake there is nothing that is going to stop me from gettting that minifigure. I am hoping that the Tantive IV rumors are true (if so, LEGO has read my mind and my comments here on Eurobricks), but I will be perfectly okay with the figure showing up in the advent calendar if that is the case. GryffindorResistance Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 "Jaws" could POSSIBLY be the Gungan Sub and the Big Fish --- technically, that combination "hasn't been done before", and would fit the price point - I heard a while back that LEGO has been trying to do another Gungan Sub because of it's uniqueness. It was outlawed because it had no substance. Now there's at least a tiny bit of substance. But as others said it could just be from the calendar. Quote

Oh I understand, and I have no issue with it being outlawed for those reasons, I was just trying to mention the possibility based on this leak without explicitly bringing up something we’ve been told not to. But I perfectly understand why it was outlawed, I was also getting tired of seeing people flip over imagined Star destroyers and blockade runners with no substance to suggest those things. BacktoBricks Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 So glad Antilles is coming. :) I love the face on old fig, but it is going for £50 + at the moment which I just can't justify and I had a feeling he may be coming when the new 4+ Tie contained the Rebel Trooper. Hope to see the second face soon as I presume there has to be one. 21 minutes ago, GryffindorResistance said: "Jaws" could POSSIBLY be the Gungan Sub and the Big Fish --- technically, that combination "hasn't been done before", and would fit the price point - I heard a while back that LEGO has been trying to do another Gungan Sub because of it's uniqueness. I could remember wrong, but aren't this codenames rarely related to what the set actually is, so JAWS could basically be everything? (that is not a remake apparently) Quote
Per_SW Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 Quite glad for the Antilles figure, hoping this means a nice overdue set remake is coming. Regarding the RvsK duel, meh... I usually like these vignette-style of set they're doing lately (always thought we needed more "location sets") but this one looks quite underwhelming. Anyway, it doesn't matter to me since I don't collect ST sets. Also, no idea what this JAWS set may be, but a gungan sub feels quite unlikely :D (And now I'm waiting for the "sub rumor" to spread like a virus). Quote

When was the last gungan sub, 2012, right? i guess it's been a fair amount of time, but for a set that I can't imagine appeals to most kids due to the lack of weapons and play features that could be made, along with the fact that it won't appeal to many AFOLS either, I don't see it getting a remake anytime soon. I will hold out hope for my Mon Cala star cruiser, or something else that hasn't been a lego set yet. But we have gone 16 years without a bomber (and counting) and almost as long without a TIE interceptor, so you can never really tell why lego makes decisions like that. And yeah, i think this'll be the new "set possibility outlawed after it makes the rounds through all the fan sites and somehow transforms into something people believe as a confirmation without any substance", to put it one way. I'd love a new Mustafar set, especially if it's at a higher price range like Snoke's Throne Room/Death Star Final Duel rather than the smaller Starkiller Base/Naboo Duel sets. It would be a great opportunity to finally get ROTS Padme and potentially another Separatist like Wat Tambor. I'd also like to see Obi-Wan's hairpiece finally changed from dark orange to a more accurate nougat color like the 75109 Buildable Figure. Quote

So mustafar, if true, would seem to support the theory of a summer 2019 wave as well as the others. I know 4 in a year is weird but it is both the 20th year of the theme and the year that IX comes out. (Hopefully we get more info on IX soon based on al those tweets by Anthony Daniels.) And we also have the "jaws" summer set. Interesting. And if mustafar is true, we could see more of a focus on duels, with of $20-30 renditions of famous duels with the figures of the principle participants. Like the starkiller duel that was just revealed! I would love a senate duel, cloud city, smaller versions of snoke and palpatine's throne rooms, etc. Edited February 14, 2019 by Mandalorianknight Quote
Aethersprite Posted February 14, 2019 Posted February 14, 2019 The Starkiller base set is perfect for me. Nice diorama and two main characters. I'm glad I haven't bought any sequel sets just for either character yet. Quote
Balrogofmorgoth Posted February 14, 2019 Posted February 14, 2019 (edited) So I emailed lego customer service just to politely express my disappointment in the Finch Dallow situation and asked if there was anything that could be done for those of us who bought the set before and now have no way of getting the updated minifig. My reply said that they would love to give me the figure and they absolutely would but the parts are sold out and they are not sure of they will ever be back in stock. But they did say they would have given me the figure. That would have been nice. I didn’t even ask for that, but it would have been nice. Edited February 14, 2019 by Balrogofmorgoth Quote

Cylo Posted February 14, 2019 Posted February 14, 2019 Saw the leaked Duel on starkiller base set, seems like a great set for the price and has both main characters from the sequels. Quote
Darth Malgus Posted February 14, 2019 Posted February 14, 2019 Starkiller is a bit small tbh for rumoured price point. Still I like the little scene based sets, we used to get them 20 years ago. Quote
DomMk Posted February 14, 2019 Posted February 14, 2019 Duel on Starkiller Base is, IMHO, a beautifully executed idea and a solid vignette. Compare it to eg. the recent duelling microfighters: the duel actually accurately captures the intended scene in spirit, and it's 80% because of its use of the hinge to represent Starkiller Base coming apart. I'll be picking it up for sure. Quote
ThousandMoon Posted February 14, 2019 Posted February 14, 2019 ***Leg print whinge alert*** Excited to see Antilles - he's a figure I've resisted buying as I'm fairly happy with the custom I've put together, but I can't wait to get my hands on that rank insignia torso, lovely! Also very excited as to what the figure might represent set wise! However the figure overall is a bit disappointing due to it's apparent lack of any leg printing - not fully clear from the image, and if it turns out to have dark tan / reddish brown dual-moulds I'll eat my words, but I'll also eat my hat if that's the case. It's been 10 years since the original figure was released, and the marginal update to torso and face is a bit lame imo. Similar to the Fleet trooper - great to have the update but yet again, in a galaxy far far away little to no emphasis below the belt. Come on Lego :/ I love diorama sets, but the Star Killer dual looks slightly unfinished to me, would benefit from a few more inches too the trees to give a greater sense of scale - easy one to mod so will probably pick it up still... I know some will say we don't know if it is the correct legs on that leak and that is true. But if they are, what I find the most strange is the way the pockets just cut off at the bottom of the torso as they just look clearly unfinished and it seems like a strange design choice. Nevertheless, I am glad to see Antilles coming considering the crazy secondary market price of the current minifigure. Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted February 14, 2019 Posted February 14, 2019 (edited) Someone on IG claims to have seen the retailer catalogue, but there‘s nothing new in there apart from 75253 and the set numbers for Episode IX (75246,48-50,54-57) 8 sets seems a tad excessive, but you won‘t see me complaining Edited February 14, 2019 by Lego-Freak Quote
