"dumb exclusivity" gave you at least a somewhat better chance to get it, unless you somehow managed to get a ticket to the celebration. I'm buying this, as it looks pretty good and I have empty space at the edge of my desk. Quote

Are you forgetting that everyone outside of the US aren’t able to get one? If it’s anything like the Red card exclusive Lego movie 2 Brickheadz then it will be limited in number regardless. Quote
Brikkyy13 Posted March 23, 2019 Posted March 23, 2019 I take back my previous remark. Still nice to see a wider release of the set but it’s a bit stupid that it’s yet another North American exclusive. Quote

I think we all just need to remember that this could have been a celebration exclusive, and we will see instructions for it online. Unless you need the box, you'll be fine bricklinking the parts because there are no new prints/molds/colors Quote

But what do I know? Quote

legosamsonite Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 Has any one else found the anniversary sets yet? I got the dropship and the snowspeeder the other day in Nova Scotia Canada, which, even to me sounds like a weird place to find them early, anyone else get lucky? Quote

Dukeside Posted March 26, 2019 Posted March 26, 2019 When does the UCS set get an announcement? I can't remember if they have a specific day or just like a month before. Quote

Renown Posted March 26, 2019 Posted March 26, 2019 (edited) Have just had a look at some past 1HY reveal dates. 75181 was first seen on 30th March 2018, and 75144 was revealed on 23rd March 2017. We must surely be a short time away from a first glimpse at 75244. Edited March 26, 2019 by Renown Quote

Well we dont know the full parts list, so... no, nobody knows. Wait until the partslist is available, and bricklink has a feature to add all the parts of a set of a set to a wanted list. Quote

Pleasestopspammers Posted March 27, 2019 Posted March 27, 2019 (edited) Hey everyone just wanted to let those who frequent this forum and are clearly passionate about the health of the LEGO community about a plague on instagram. Regarding the legoleaks hashtag, which many on this forum use to find images of new leaks, there is currenly an attempt to undermine and deliberately spam the tag in some misguided ploy to bring attention to bullying. This so called bullying has consisted merely of members of the community requesting users who post mocs and amateur photography to vacate the tag and utilize only appropriate tags. Something that is apart of instagrams own guidelines. Im asking those who value the free and easy exchange of these leaks to report as many accounts posting inappropriate and irrelevant photos on the tag as possible. Please be sure to report user sicklegoleaks for orchestrating and galvanizing this niche group of creators who simply want to sow discord. i apologize for the seemingly off topic reply, but many people will lose access to leaked photos if instagram tags are overrun with these spammers. Please feel free to remove this reply if you feel this is an egregious violation of the guidelines, but please know i am not attempting to derail this discussion. I simply want to draw attention to a group of malicious agitators trying to hijack our tag. I will not be posting anything furthere about this. Thanks for your time. And to a more pertinent point, I’m really hoping to see some updates on the tentive iv soon, it’s way overdue for an updated release. Edited March 27, 2019 by Pleasestopspammers Quote

We must surely be a short time away from a first glimpse at 75244. I suspect TLG will wait a few extra weeks if possible this year, because they won't want to take sales away from the April 1 sets. Last year, there was a wave released on April 15, and in 2016, the only Spring wave was June 1, IIRC, so they had nothing to lose by revealing the UCS Snowspeeder a bit earlier. However, in the case of both the Snowspeeder and the Y-Wing, leaked pictures surfaced online beforehand. My guess is that the set will be revealed sometime in the week of April 7-13, to coincide with the Star Wars Celebration. If pictures are leaked sooner than that, the official reveal might be expedited. Whatever the case may be, I am hyped! Quote
