Jim Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 TECHNIC THEME PARK CONTEST RESULTS Here are the result of the contest. We have cut off all voters with a post count under 50. This will most likely be standard for future contests. In the end it didn't really matter for the final results, but we still think it's useful rule. Seasider Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 Well done to everyone this was certainly different. Congrats to @shadow_elenter, @Erik Leppen & @HallBricks Thank you to everyone who voted for me and gave me my highest finishing place to date. Roll on TC15 ... PS anyone have any suggestions for what to do with a load of grey panels? Quote
Jim Posted September 23, 2018 Author Posted September 23, 2018 @Seasider You are the bubble boy, unfortunately. Quote

BrickbyBrickTechnic Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 26 points... more than I expected, considering that my entry was so rushed. So I'm happy Winners were obvious, great job @shadow_elenter, @Erik Leppen , and @HallBricks ! You guys had amazing entries and are very deserving of the medals. Quote

HallBricks Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 Thank you everyone for your votes and congrats to @shadow_elenter and @Erik Leppen for your gold and silver medals, very well deserved! I really liked the theme, so thank you @Jim for arranging this contest. I really enjoyed it. Quote
Milan Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 Congratulations to all the participants! Quote
Bublehead Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 (edited) I want to thank the moderators, @Jim and @Milan for running this competition and to all my fellow entrants and their wonderful creations. I do believe the best three entries won the top three spots, they were my top three votes, so well done to @shadow_elenter, @Erik Leppen, and @HallBricks. To the rest of my fellow participants, thanks for the stiff competition, and may we all do better in TC15. Edited September 23, 2018 by Bublehead Removed unrelated blathering on Quote

shadow_elenter Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 YAAAAAY! I couldn't be hapier! Thank you all who voted for me! Congratulations to @Erik Leppen and @HallBricks. This was a great contest! The theme was quite challenging (I underestimated that quite a bit) but the MOC's that it inspired are also quite awesome as a result! I love the techniques I've seen and I might borrow some in future MOC's Great work everyone. Quote
Erik Leppen Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 I feel very honored to have become second place! Thanks for all who voted! All entries were great, even those who eventually placed last. Congratulations @shadow_elenter on a fully deserved first place, @HallBricks for a very nice third, and to all others for having completed a really cool MOC :) Quote
Aventador2004 Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 Congrats, while I expected last, I got points. Working on a project for lego ideas contest now. Enjoy! Quote
m00se Posted September 24, 2018 Posted September 24, 2018 Congratulations to the winners, and thanks to Jim for the organisation. Looking forward to the next one. Quote
Akbalder Posted September 24, 2018 Posted September 24, 2018 (edited) Thanks for the contest. It has been a good motivation to try to build a moc. Soon, I'll be able to vote on contests! Edited September 24, 2018 by Akbalder Quote
MajklSpajkl Posted September 24, 2018 Posted September 24, 2018 Congratulations to all! Kinda hard to see @shadow_elenter's avatar now with all that gold shining around Cool prizes as well! Btw. +1 for the 50 posts minimum rule for voting. Quote
mocbuild101 Posted September 25, 2018 Posted September 25, 2018 Congratulations to everyone, especially the winners, which were very well deserved And to everyone else, just remember; your prizes were the MOCs that you built! shadow_elenter Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 Guess what I just received in the mail! It's parts are already being used in my new MOC! Thanks to everyone who voted for me! And thanks to the staff for organizing this fine contest! Quote
Bublehead Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 @shadow_elenter, I’m more interested in the moc in the background... Quote
Seasider Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 What’s the new MOC looks like some form of robot/sub Quote
shadow_elenter Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 20 minutes ago, Bublehead said: @shadow_elenter, I’m more interested in the moc in the background... I don't really do WIP topic's (contest is an exception), uploading pictures is a bit of a hassle on eurobricks unfortunately (especially on my phone). I do snap a few photo's of my WIP's while building whenever I make reasonable progress, and upload it to my twitter account. So if you (or anyone els of course) are interested in this or any upcomming WIP's consider following my twitter account. Or wait until I finish it, naturally I will post a topic and a youtube video here when it's done. 8 minutes ago, Seasider said: What’s the new MOC looks like some form of robot/sub Exactly that, I just got certified as an open water scuba diver and that inspired me to build a submarine. I used to own the 8250, and absolutely loved it, so this is sort of a tribute Quote
HallBricks Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 Congrats @shadow_elenter! That prize must have been meant for you, color scheme couldn't be more perfect . Looking forward to see your upcoming MOC! Quote
