So a new Dachshund mould

At this point of the year, it can only be for CMF Series 19

Maybe a Dog Sitter? Or another Dog Show Contestant? or a Dog Groomer? or a Dog Trainer?

Dog Groomer would make the most sense, allows for cool prints and maybe another accessory while working well with other city characters

But really just the fact we’re getting a new animal makes me excited

Or just a German themed character, after all the ‘Connoisseur’ from series 17 was merely French themed with a baguette and French bulldog.

Either way, between a new dog breed and the new chameleon I’m really excited for the animals this series.

So, it seems this series will follow the trend started with Series 14: getting at least two animales per series. But wonder if can get a third one, like Series 16

Plus, if this Dashshund mold is indeed from Series 19, this will be the third Series in a row (not counting Series 18) to give us a new dog breed! :sweet:

So, if that's a trend we can depend on, I'm hoping to see either a Shih Tzu or Lhaso Apso mold down the line!

I’m personally also excited by the fact that all the current system style dogs have pricked ears (German shepherd, husky, terrier, etc.) but the dachshund has floppy ears (which have only appeared in Friends and other more stylized lines so far as I know) which opens up a whole new slew of breeds.

For instance, I saw someone on Instagram mention lab/golden retriever as a possibility and it made me think of the possibility of Lego doing a mold for a guide dog harness, which would be pretty cool.

Basically, Lego going out of its way to consistently give us new dog breeds and expanding into floppy ears can only be a good thing.

Huh, interesting observation regarding the ears, as that was also true of the Chihuahua introduced with Series 9's Trendsetter (a mold I just remembered now).

Apparently in a Instagram story of his, @Falconfan1414 said Series 19 "could have a decent amount of animals in it"...

Heck this changes a lot... What characters could bring an animal with them? Not everyone will have one like the Rugby Player, but I guess they could have a medieval minifigure with an animal... like a Peasant with a goat perharps ? Or Forest Ranger with a fawn, a female pirate with a parrot, a shepherd with a lamb, etc...

I wonder how many new animal molds will be introduced here

With a piece of info like that, I do wonder how much @Falconfan1414 knows about Series 19 at this point in the game, and to what extent... :oh:

We should being getting some substantial info/parts leaks on S.19 this month, shouldn't we?

Well, it is the month of July, and most CMS have been officially unveiled a month prior to their release. So, we should see some further leaks before its presumed official announcement of early August. :classic:

What I was saying was about the animals coming in series 19 was that we have 2 new molds and one possible recoloring for animals with no known location for any of these and considering how usually not a lot of stuff leaks for these series, if these are for series 19 we could end up having more then the average one or two new animal molds per series

Excuse me, but of which other animal mould do we know?

I hope for a Bavarian child fitting to Lederhosen Guy and Dirndl Girl. The Dachshound ist THE stereotypical dog from Bavaria. I don't know any generic figure that would fit better to this breed. It could give me the very needed short legs in Lederhosen colour für my custom Simpsons Üter and make it more likely to get more kids for existing pairs of  minifigures. I'd really love a little son for my caveman for example :)

Chameleon and the rubber duck in green. There is also a cat in a new colour, but that was apparently found in a Lego shop ..

Seeing as the new LEGO Tower game has a focus on pets and a place to enter codes, do you think that Series 19 might be tied into that game? They did it before for another short lived game.

I would have been announced by now I think.

When they did it with CMF S12 we knew they would be part of the MMO since like April/May

But you might be right...

How about a Dalmatian with his fireman/woman, a bird of prey with a falconer, a zookeeper with his hippopotamus, a young cavalier with a poney (after all, they must fit in those tiny bags... )

I always wanted a Dalmatian to make a better fit with my Fire Brigade. So cliché !

A nice trend could be the national animal / bird of countries: the bald eagle for the USA, the cock for France, the beaver for Canada, etc

The standard LEGO horse fit into the old bags with little issue, there shouldn't be any issue (other than cost/no desire) to get one into the new, larger bags.

LEGO already has a system dog mold that they use as a Dalmatian by just adding a spotted print. The Bricklink listing.

I believe the pony idea being referred to would be a new version of the 1996 pony found in only two Paradisa sets. There are already six different print designs on the Friends foal mold, but it doesn't really fit the system aesthetic.

I do not understand why it is referred to a pony on BL, it is and have always been a foal :hmpf:

I agree they do not mix and match
