Any guesses about this series color?

Series 20 is going to be a "milestone" series. So gold is probably going to be reused there.

TLM2 is probably going to be dark blue again, just like the first one. So any shade of blue is unlikely for this series.

My guess is red. At this point we' ve got 3 green series, 3 orange series and 3 yellow.

But red has only used once in Series 7.

White or black have also only be used once I believe.

Beside the lack of fringed buckskin, I also don't really care for the color of his coonskin cap, as I'd rather wish to see it in either Dark Bluish Grey or Dark Brown with Black stripes.

Good call on those color choices. The the coonskin cap really is too good of a mold to be relegated to one CMF. Speaking of fringed jackets, the one used in the Mountain Police line would have been perfect if not for that damn striped prison shirt.

I would also like to see more Castle / Fantasy characters like evil king, evil fairy, evil genie, ice king, but I would say a statue, stone or terracotta statue, an historical character would be great too.

yes please

Oh, ok. I think LEGO will introduce the centaur body in Harry Potter, and then they'll reuse it in a CMF like a year later.

I think it would be too expensive to produce a new half horse body for a CMF. Maybe as a reuse it could work.

That would be the only interesting LEGO thing I would have for 2019 rightaway. For the rest, in dozens of sets the only interesting thing I saw is Reinhardt's helmet.
Ninjago sucks.

That's true for me as well. So far I only really care about S19, and I'm hoping that TLM2 has some historical themed stuff. Other than that, it's a really rough year, maybe worse than 2018 for me. :shrug_confused:

No I'm very sorry I just think that there are in Harry Potter, so LEGO can have a chance to make them and perhaps it also unlicensed.

Now you should put a disclaimer when you speak about anything since you have a good track record of hinting what CMFs are coming out.

Wizard World regular sets would be the place when Centaur can properly star imo. I would hope this line get long enough for that instead.

As for bag color I still expect purple .

Given that we've seen a few fairytale archetypes over the years throughout various series, I was just thinking about the  possibility of seeing nursery rhyme archetypes, something we've haven't seen any representation for yet. Particularly, how about Mother Goose, Little Bo Peep (a.k.a. Nursery Rhyme Shepherdess), and Humpty Dumpty (a.k.a. Egg Man) as future CMFs? The former two in particular would potentially give us new goose and sheep/lamb molds if we did ever see them. :shrug_oh_well:

I wonder why we did receive such a headgear mold in the manner we did anyway. Perhaps it was originally intended for a shelved Frontiersman archetype meant for an earlier rendition of Series 12? :shrug_confused:

Your lack of optimism doesn't sound like it bodes well for Series 19, as if it will be a Costume Party 2.0. :look:

Know what?
I'm zero optimistic for the next year.
No castle themes. No space themes. No pirate themes. Castle is dead after a very long story and nothing is going to replace it.
Ninjago reboot = poor reuse of old molds with new printings.
Overwatch / DOTs = zero interest to me.

The only new theme I care a little is LEGO MOVIE 2. All the rest is licensed stuff I don't care about. And being reduced to hope that there is something interesting in sets that do come from a movie in which minidolls are there too and it seems to be plenty of that unikitty stuff...

Seems like 2019 won't be my cup of tea.
The only remote hope remains in something interesting from Wizarding World in 2HY. and Seresi 19 if the make it.

And tbh, they really could make me feel the opposite by releasing a whatever-age historic theme, like romans, greeks, whatever... I'd buy tons of that stuff and it's still a gap in all LEGO lines.
If playmobil sells them, why shouldn't LEGO?

But I'm going offtopic

Castle isn’t dead, it’s just taking a breather

Series 19 won't happen in April / May.

You will get your so many times asked Dinsey 2.
This is what I feared.

Well, I'm glad to hear that next year's licensed CMS will indeed be a follow-up to Disney Series 1 instead of Harry Potter (or God forbid, The Simpsons Series 3) ; but, can we still expect to see Series 19 for September next year instead? :shrug_confused:

Is Series 19 going to happen at all?

If we are to believe the theme's designers according to that New Elementary interview I shared a little while ago, it should arrive in September at the line's last stop for the year. As you may remember, they assured us that we should see at least one non-licensed CMS a year from here on. So..... :shrug_confused:

Oh I forgot about that interview

But things could have changed since then

------------

Anyway. The line-up seems to be

Jan - TLM2 Series

May - Disney Series 2

Sep - Series 19
