These have arrived in Australia as I picked up all the ones I was after last night. My favourites are the Bounty Hunter, Dog poop girl, Explorer and Mummy Queen. The pug and the chameleon are great little animals (not so keen on the sausage dog).

Interesting that these are not made exclusively in China anymore. The quality has certainly improved a great deal since some of the early series.

It's a French bulldog, not a pug.

Do we know is this chameleon a new mold or just a different print of the friends chameleon?

The animal moulds made for minidoll sets are not used outside those with the exception of the little "sparrow" mould. Minidoll sets sometime uses minifig animals, but usually they make there own mould for the animal. Lately it has been a trend that a animal gets a minidoll mould like the chameleon then later a minifig one :shrug_oh_well:

Yes, the chameleon are different the most obvious difference would be the head. The Friends/Disney Princess chameleon head is bigger and wider than this new one. I am going to let someone else answer if their is any other difference(s) between the two molds.

I'm not a dog person so it looks close enough to a pug for me.

The Fright Knight's head looks quite washed out FYI. I looked at some reviews online and this definitely seems to be a design decision rather than a manufacturing fault.

Received my box today, and a few comments after looking at the actual figures:

- Really disappointed by the fox figure. This was one of faves from looking at the renders/photos, but it is just too orange. The "white" print on orange looks almost pink - really ruins the figure for me.

- The render of the bounty hunter gave it a Blacktron vibe I liked, other photos online made it look very generic. The actual figure looks good, Blacktron vibe intact!

- The torso of the knight looks good.

- The mummy looks better than expected. There was something with the face I didn't like in the renders/photos, but the actual figure is ok.

I’m really looking forward to getting the mummy queen! I’m glad she looks as good in person. How is the monkey king?

@TeufelHund does this mean the head can work well for ghost and spooky minifigures?

Indeed which was a poor decision in my view. Its faintness is made worse by being obscured by the helmet's grill. LEGO should have used bold printing so you could clearly see it.

The Monkey King is excellent in real life, every bit as good as online reviews make it seem.

The Mummy Queen is cool, too. When I saw the minifigure in reviews, I thought I would use the death mask face. But now that I have the minifigure, I'm not so sure and am inclined towards the mad mummy visage.

Sure, you can use the Fright Knight's head for ghosts and there may be some uses where subtle printing is desirable. But on balance, a conspicuous face would have been better.

Just picked up my box this morning.  Great to see 3 sets in one box again. I love the Monkey King and the dog sitter.  In fact, I went out to buy a few more just to get more poops XD.  I feel this series is great overall!

Picked mine up yesterday.

So many fabulous pieces in here although I didn't think rugby players wore headgear (at least I haven't seen any when I see rugby on the TV)

I love that the fire fighter could fit right alongside the 2019 fire sets and not look out of place.

As for using Friends animals outside of Friends I think the only example is the bird in Steamboat Willie and that actually fits given the very cartoonish nature of the original source material.

Most don't, but some do. It's a soft deal, and not really accurately depicted by the old aviator helmet LEGO likes to use.

@Pchan1983 I am no moderator, but I think it's not useful if you spam your review on different topics just to lure people on your youtube channel.

Sorry if I sound mean, but please try to understand it's not funny to see the same video on different topics.

Sorry, it's a different video but a similar thumbnail.  let me know if I should remove one as I was not sure if I should link the review in this discussion?

I removed opening one earlier.

A friend and I sorted a box today. I am impressed with this series, it is better than I expected, even after watching reviews. The egyptian queen is so pretty, and the bear is a lot brighter than I first thought. No real failures for me, though I do view the firefighter as a wasted spot.

We both found the rugby player hardest to feel, with the ball being a similar size to the head.

Picked up a handful of these today. Got a Gardener, Monkey King, Fox Suit Girl, Mummy Queen, Dog Sitter and Jungle Explorer. Really happy with all of them. I hadn’t really noticed on the renders or review videos but the Gardener has metallic blue eyeshadow and some gold spots in the leopard print on her legs. Love the level of detail.

Indeed. I think it's meant to be a scrum cap.

These have shown up on B+P (but not available) as 76382 with the neck print.

Normally CMFs don't have the neck print and show up as 88585. Has anyone got a picture of all of the new torsos and whether they have the neck band or not?

If there is a mixture of with and without, does this correlate with them being inside the inner plastic bags?

From memory there were a few that had some parts in inner plastic bags (the mountain biker was definitely one and there was one more that I can't remember, possibly the gardener or bear suit guy)

Neck prints have been appearing since the LEGO Movie 2 series, when the CMF stopped being produced exclusively in China and started coming in the larger bags that were introduced with Unikitty series. They do not correlate exactly with the inner plastic bag, but are always found on figures that do not have dual-moulded or printed arms, as far as I have seen. Sometimes they have also appeared on figures with arm prints, like the Tin Man, so there's no perfect pattern.

The monkey king is one, for example, that has an inner bag in this series, but the torso has dual moulded arms and no neck print.

Found them today, but only grabbed Mummy Queen. The print on the mummy face seems a bit fuzzy, but my eyes aren't what they used to be. I'm excited to grab the rest!

Has anyone seen the bios for this series?

I can't find them

I haven’t seen them yet. I didn’t even think Lego was still doing bios; although I remember when they had drop down menus for almost all series.

So... Out of the series, there were few figures that I was interested in, the Rugby Player being one of them...

Bought a few packs today, and the Rugby Player was one of them... Except the head was... Well...
