Gorilla94 Posted January 22, 2019 Posted January 22, 2019 Fox suit Girl is gorgeous. She even has a tail piece. I don´t think we will get it as much as i´d love to have it in my display. Simpsons 2 and TLBM2 sold extremely bad. I am sure the main problem were the really poor choices for a lot of characters like the lack of Skinner but i doubt Lego will understand this and make a second series to TLM2 just with good figures. With dual moulded legs (or at least sideprinted) a dual moulded Tailpiece (everything else would look pathetic) and a new Headgear-mould this figure won´t appear in a regular set. I am dissapointed we got the boring musicians, the watermelon and pencil suit instead... Quote

Yeah, I would say so. There are plenty of figures from the previous three Lego movies that didn't show up in sets, and if a figure were designed for the movie with the intention of being released I don't see why they wouldn't make space for it in the movie theme itself and opt for a different series instead (developed independently of the movie theme). Presumably, the figure in question may not have been designed in mind for TLM2, but rather Series 19; so, it's treated as any other CMF cameo would be, only that this one may be officially unveiled after the fact rather than before the sequel's release. Robert8 Posted January 22, 2019 Posted January 22, 2019 Exaxtly just like the Lizard Man and Chicken Suit Guy are there as cameos. They werent made for the made. So this Fox Suit Girl would be like a preview for the next series. In Batman Movie they released some of the characters like Hugo Strange a year after they appeared in the movie. Quote

I am not that sure :/ They released Hugo in the second TLBM-series not in a random DC-Set. Quote
Digger of Bricks Posted January 29, 2019 Posted January 29, 2019 So, according to Zusammengebaut... Quote Two new LEGO Minifigures collection series »May: 18 minifigures, no further information »September: 16 minifigures, no further information here Quote
julesvincent Posted January 29, 2019 Posted January 29, 2019 What makes you think that there will be no chase figure? Quote
Robert8 Posted January 29, 2019 Posted January 29, 2019 Both Mr Gold and Classic Policeman were the 17th minifigure from their series If there are 16 minifigures here, then that means there is no chase character Quote

1Panda Posted January 29, 2019 Posted January 29, 2019 That fox suit looks good and I do think it will appear in series nineteen. Quote

Pop Star c o Posted January 30, 2019 Posted January 30, 2019 There's no reason why there should be a chase minifigure in S19. The chase minifigure is meant for S20. Quote
Digger of Bricks Posted January 31, 2019 Posted January 31, 2019 There is said to be a new duck mold coming in at least two upcoming sets within City's and Creator's summer waves, which made me starting wondering: Would Lego ever do a Duck Hunter archetype for the Collectable Minifigure line? Particularly, I was thinking such a duck mold could be recolored/reprinted as a decoy for such a CMF archetype, one that perhaps could be modeled after the more vintage notion of such utilizing a recolor of the Series 5 Detective's hat. Only combined with a new shotgun mould! xD It would be a nice figure but i highly doubt it. Quote

I think Lego wont do stuff like that because it isn´t kidfriendly. The cmf is made for figures who would not be released in a set like some designers said.in Interviews. The butcher has a steak. I think we can all agree Lego won´t produce a modular building slaughterhouse or even a shop for meat with some working space in the back, don´t we? The arktic sets, the cmfs and the rerelease of the cmfs in different colours Show that Lego knows how popular stoneage stuff is, but the company isn´t willing to make sets with a caveman who hunts down a Mammoth or a cavewoman collecting vegetable and being chased by a sabertooth. Both of them would drive Peta- and Femen activists insane. So they put his stuff in separated packeds. Lego isn´t responsible if Kids Play this way by themself. The hunter with duck would be inviting to play "killing the duck", so i would say certainly "no, there will never be such a cmf". Quote
Roebuck Posted February 1, 2019 Posted February 1, 2019 They will probably not do it, but Playmobil have several sets with hunters. On the other hand they have a lot more animal moulds so they need to harvest the populations. In Lego all the animals are usually on the endangered list because off low population numbers Quote

I am neither PETA nor whatever that is, but I wouldn’t appreciate a modern day hunter figure either. Nor expect one. There are other ways to get what you need or want without glorifying hunting or gun ‘sports’. A duck mould could come with a park set, farm set or a whole host of non lethal CMF options. Most of the target audience will recognise ducks as something to feed in the park, rather than blast out of the sky like Elmer Fudd. x Quote

Digger of Bricks Posted February 16, 2019 Posted February 16, 2019 Does anyone here see any possibility for a future Shepherd/Shepherdess CMF in Bo Peep's new Shepherd's Hook mold? Quote

Yes, that's the first thing I thought of when I saw that picture! Especially because a Shepherd has been a CMF prediction of mine pretty much since Series 1 came out. Gorilla94 Posted February 16, 2019 Posted February 16, 2019 I think, it is very likely. For those who don´t care about something being custom made: Brickforge has (in my opinion) a better mould with more fitting proportions. Quote
K_Tiger Posted February 16, 2019 Posted February 16, 2019 I sure hope so. It would give them an excuse to pull out the goat mold, or do a sheep. Quote
