Renny The Spaceman Posted January 28, 2024 Posted January 28, 2024 Do you think they'll touch the blurred lines situation? Quote
Murdoch17 Posted January 29, 2024 Posted January 29, 2024 Why? Just, Why? Of all the ideas out there, they chose THIS one?!? Quote

Lego didn´t choose to make this, they are just a partner working on this movie. I am still surprised they do it though. Quote

Heck, a Galidor feature film would have been a better option in my opinion. Quote

Lego hasn´t done any Films in the last years and it doesn´t seem like they are planning to do one in the near future either. If they wanted to do one themselfves they would choose something else than this for sure ;). Quote
Murdoch17 Posted February 7, 2024 Posted February 7, 2024 Happy 10th Anniversary to the original LEGO Movie! ...I feel old just saying that. Quote
Lion King Posted February 9, 2024 Posted February 9, 2024 I adore the Lego Movie when I watched it in 2014! Everything is Awesome! Quote
Renny The Spaceman Posted November 3, 2024 Posted November 3, 2024 Okay, live action time, probably gonna be great. Let's go over what these could be. Option one, the most obvious, just full live-action adaptations of LEGO themes, the Ninjago one will almost certainly be this from how the Hagemans are talking. This probably won't be all of them though because this idea simply doesn't work without using an already popular theme and I doubt many of the writers and directors hired would want to write a film based on a toyline they never heard of. Option 2 is the premise of "The missing piece" assuming Jake Kasdan has kept the bulk of that script it's a rip-off of the Playmobil movie where the first act is siblings in the real world, they get sucked into the LEGO world which, hopefully, would be animated then it stays animated until they leave the LEGO world at the end. But they'd probably describe this as a live-action/CG hybrid, did anyone call the Playmobil movie live action? So it's more likely when they get sucked in it'll look like the Minecraft movie. Option 3 is something like the Smurfs, where the LEGO characters enter a portal into the real world and befriend a human, this is plausible as it's a formula used to this day. Option 4 is that it's something like Small Soldiers where LEGO toys come to life and go on an adventure in the human world. And I think the final option for a live action film would be a docudrama about some part of LEGO's history, probably won't be though if we're honest. So what do you all think, how do you think they'll do a live-action LEGO movie is gonna work? Quote
