Morgan19 Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 The eventuality of this little experiment was a given, considering my newfound apparent love of gold spraypaint. I took a regular Threepio head, stuck it on an expendable ExoForce body, painted the whole thing gold, and applied my own custom decal (based on the official fig, obviously). Custom C-3P0 Comparison (I wasn't sure if this should go here or in the LEGO Theater section...) m19 Quote
Scouty Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 Not bad, not bad at all! It is good. I'm not sure if it would be the most movie accurate out of all three. Or maybe it is *grin* ! You should make the left leg a silverish-gold color, for movie accurateness! Great work and decal! *wub* Quote
LegoLyons Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 Looks just the the movie version. good job. Quote
Hewman Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 You should seriously consider selling these. Quote
JimBee Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 very good! i think its more accurate to the movie, but the lego chromed one is shinier and i just hate the non chrome one Quote
Joey Lock Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 You should seriously consider selling these. Or, give them to the Joey Lock charity! Ill be sure to give them to a good home of...Starving Lego Nah, dont sell them, there collectables! Quote
Siegfried Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 Wow! I think this is 80% as good as the real one; and you probably have better coverage than the real one. Great work! Quote
BlueBard Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 Nice job! Looks just the the movie version. good job. I agree. It really looks like the classic 3PO from ANH (maybe a silver leg could help... ) Quote
