I would like year 1-2 Flitwick version in advent calendar set. I can even remember in first movie i think that he uses wingardium leviosa to decorate Christmas tree. As for missing CoS characters i was thinking maybe Florish and Blotts set. In that set you could include Arthur, Molly, Ginny, Lucius and Lockhart with some returning major characters.

Yeah, i agree it would be nice for the nostalgia but prehaps we may get flitwick as the conductor from GoF. I think it would also be cool to see some different diagon ally shops like the one you mentioned.

Does anyone find it strange that the five June sets and the advent calendar (September) have all been officially revealed, but we still haven’t seen or heard of any leaks regarding two further sets in August? I’d love for more Potter but am very sceptical as to whether we will get another two this year...

It is weird, last year’s retailer exclusives were revealed at a different time, but they were released at the same time as the other sets.

The whole 5 Harry Potter sets in June and 2 in August never made sense to me anyway. I’ve always wondered if they might not be Fantastic Beasts sets instead, hence the 2 month gap.

Either that or the August sets were just a false rumor

Your right, that's very peculiar, why are they splitting the summer wave in half?

Maybe those sets are under the Fantastic Beasts subtheme and that could be a reason to have a different month of release.

Rumors suggest that 75958 is The Graveyard Duel set.

Also, 75965 has 184 pieces.

yeah, ive also heard set 75958 is the graveyard set too.  I cant figure out what would be in a £50 graveyard set unless we got some cool figures like James/Lily Potter ghosts.

That’s what I’ve been thinking honestly, the entire situation is far less confusing if the August sets are part of a sub theme.

Those dimensions are really weird. I mean, the low height and large footprint suggest graveyard, but the maximum height from the original graveyard was over twice that. Even the main tombstone (which wasn’t the highest element of the original) was about 4 cm higher then the 5.7 cm listed here, and it kind of has to be, in order to be properly imposing and screen accurate. 5.7 cm is barely higher than a minifigure.

I thought the rumors said the exact opposite. Didn’t @TheRandomBlocker say the graveyard set would be the $50 one?

That's a medium-sized LEGO box dimensions similar to Newt's Case but shorter in height.

So basically it has nothing to do with the actual set dimensions, it’s just whatever retail website posted it used the box dimensions. That makes more sense.

Yes. If it happens to be the Graveyard set, I would expect at least 5 minifigures and sizable builds similar to Newt's Case set just because that's the closest set having the same box size.

Didn't the climax of Crimes of Grindelwald happen in a graveyard? I will be really disappointed but not surprised if these are Fantastic Beasts sets

I mean as long as it's "Wizarding World" and not "Harry Potter", I think it's only fair for there to be smaller FB sets. Though I think the Graveyard is a terrible choice for a set: it's just going to be a transblue monster + some headstones.

Weren‘t last year‘s sets released all at once though? Apart from that whole Target deal in the US that is

Right now, there‘s no conclusive evidence either way. There‘s that persistent graveyard rumor, but that set may as well be based on CoG rather than GoF. It also would seem weird to me if the FB subtheme was discontinued or postponed to 2021, wasn‘t the release of CoG one of the reasons the WW theme as a whole was brought back (even though the focus is clearly on HP)? Sure, last year‘s HP sets probably vastly outsold the FB ones, but this shouldn‘t have affected this year‘s assortment, given the typical duration of the production process :classic:

Sorry for the confusion. I accidentally said 75958 not 75965.

75958 - 50€ set with 430 pieces, rumoured to be the Graveyard Duel set

75965 - 20€ set with 184 pieces, no actual rumours

I actually hope that these two sets are FB sets, it would also explain different release date. I think five HP sets plus an advent calendar are enough.

The thing that would make FB sets stand out to kids, compared to other sets, are the buildable beasts. The beasts seem to be the focal points of the sets released so far - especially the suitcase. I don’t see the Graveyard as a particularly strong CoG setting, especially if it didn’t come with a builable Zouwu. I could be wrong though.

I thought Circus Arcanus with a buildable Zouwu - or even snake Nagini - would be an interesting set as kids would like the circus theme, but then it’s not particularly important to the plot.

I agree. The HP line is strong as it is - I don’t see that changing anytime soon. It’s the FB sets that I worry about being discontinued.

I wonder whether LEGO’s decision to make all the Hogwarts students more childlike was based of differentiating them from the adult wizards in FB?

I'll only be okay with additional FB sets if they give us an accurate Grindelwald, meaning his moustache and a new hairmould. It was pretty pathetic how they didn't get him right last year even though his appearance didn't change from 2016

Thank you. Those images make me like the outside more than the official box art which looks blurry and kind of 'waxy' to me if that makes sense. I know they're trying to simulate speed, but it looks off to me. The side hinge is interesting; I owned the first Knight Bus and remember you had to separate each level which was okay but not great for getting your hands into. This way makes it feel a bit too open though with the tiny second level so I suppose it's a trade off. And the swinging chandelier is accurate, but hardly 'fun' so I think they're scrapping the barrel a bit trying to 'push' that feature. The shaping of the exterior looks better than the old ones to me, but I think I prefer the more 'cosy' interior of the old. I shall probably just get the figures and skip the build itself as I think this is more worthy for children to play and mod which is what I liked to try and do with my old knight bus.
