You have to be a representative of a retailer, or some kind of influencer or representative of something and have to register to get in. Regular fans can’t go Edited February 28, 2019 by Whovastron

While they were not allowed to take pictures, they did a very good job in reporting back to us what was there.. This year for some reason they where not so no wonder the news from the LTF is hard to come by..

While noting is certain before the sets are released, this is a much more believable story instead of PM-o-rama, diffuse source, risk of loosing job etc.. Next time just say: We where "Beyond the wall" at LTF
Whovastron Posted February 28, 2019 Posted February 28, 2019 Well, still taking with a pinch of salt, but I am delighted with this news. Fang in a set is awesome, a new buckbeak is great, there’s some wings in the elves sets which will work perfectly if they recolour them. brickbuilt horntail is music to my ears, I mean moulded stuff like dinos and Smaug look great, but I wanna be able to pose this and boy in dynamic positions without the feet sticking out. I hope the head mould has places for some claw pieces to replicate the spikes. so excited for an accurate hagrids Hut. Hagrids Hut is one of the very few sets I never got any version of, so it will be great to get a proper version of it. The original clock tower holds a high places in my heart for nostalgia, so getting a new one is fantastic, not sure how it will work with the current display though, as it’s meant to be behind the great hall etc. knight bus is a big yes, it’s a big shame there’s no animagus form for Sirius. I know you guys are saying there’s only 2 figures; but I think it’s very likely there will be a harry, could always have just been left out of the set, I can’t see lego trying to sell it without a very recognisable character in it, and his costume in that scene is quite iconic; it’s had 3 different Lego versions and was all across the promotional material for Prisoner of Azkaban back in the day

Also a shame the patil sisters aren’t there either, would be more students for the collection (just swap their bodies for the regular uniforms). hopefully the trio in hagrids Hut are their accurate outfits (like Hermione in pink hoodie). The Harry in this set should be the same as the dementor Attack Set if so. overall I’d say the minifig selection is mixed. There’s some great stuff there like Sirius. Fudge, Maxime and the champions. But I wish there was more. However it’s overall going to be a very strong wave. All very desirable sets, no duds. The patronymic Set has desirable figs and the stag. Hagrids Hut and the clocktower are must have extensions onto Hogwarts. and the horntail and knightbus are just great things it is a shame the clocktower isn’t incorporating any DADA stuff. Opertunity for another Lupin or Moody, or to put in the Snape from the bricktober set for those who missed out, or more students. i do hope we get a Hogwarts every year, next year could be the right side of the castle (the building in the UCS Set) with room of requirement. There’s also the owlery, that could be a small build (maybe it’s the tower mentioned in the clock tower set?). If we reach half blood prince, I assume we’ll see the astronomy tower.

What can I say? They prioritised some things over others, the sets are never finished when displayed at Toy Fairs, look at the Great Hall last year, showed off loads of new moulds and the set wasn’t finished

I, and everyone else, can see you lied in at least one post about your source and have now changed your story. You also said you don't 100% believe the source, but the source was right before. Yet your source is now the London Toy Fair. Most people can guess at sets that are likely to come based on past sets from a decade ago and the recent wave. Some of the guesses will be wrong and some will be right. I imagine some of your presented ideas will eventually be shown to be right, but then most people can predict a list of 5-6 sets and some of them will be right. If any are wrong, you can just say they were changed in production. As with all leaks from unknown sources, especially new accounts set up only to promote these leaks, they should be taken with a huge pinch of salt.

Balrogofmorgoth Posted February 28, 2019 Posted February 28, 2019 The risk can be high, he probably just wanted to throw us off the scent of his actual source (LTF) so he made up the thing about the friend, but as we have a second person corroborating the information he gave us, I see no reason to doubt its truthfulness. Plus the information lines up perfectly with everything we know so far. He’s well aware of people’s doubts but he’s also obviously very sure of his information so let’s just wait and see. The info sounds true to me to be honest, especially with multiple people confirming it.
MAB Posted February 28, 2019 Posted February 28, 2019 It is also very surprising that they would show the Harry Potter sets at the London Toy Fair, but then not show them at the later Nuremburg Fair where photography is also not permitted. Have they ever revealed a wave of sets before at London, then hidden it at later shows? I cannot think of any. Then people here say they've read them elsewhere too, so they must be right. And the rumour becomes fact.
