Hey folks,

I post this here mainly because the pirate subforum is the only one I'm really following and as a ship it still fits into the topic.
And actually there also were pirates in Asia.

I found the two "sails" from the Ewok glider and just had to build a junk with them.
So I sat down and tried to build something more stereotypical than accurate, which resulted in following:

Hope, you enjoy!

Nice boat, I think you 've captured the oriental/Chinese style quite well, we can still see replicas like this in nowadays China, mostly in parks for sightseeing. The red and black is typical of traditional asian boats, especially in China, and the canopy built with plates is a good alternative to the rolling shutter from the new Destiny's Bounty. You've done a good job here, it's not easy to build a junk with lego parts.

When I read "junk", I expected a poorly made ship

Nicely done, sir!  This little guy would be right at home on the Yangtze.
