Dufresne Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 (edited) Hey everyone, I've been reading the Eurobricks forum for a while now after coming out of my dark age not long ago. (Right around the 50th Anniversary, actually.) I hauled my LEGO bricks out of storage and have been having a great time making MOCs ever since. After reading about the new Pirate contest going on, I thought, "Here's a chance to reintroduce myself to the LEGO community, and put some of my work out there!" So expect some entries into the contest soon! A little about myself. I'm 22 years old, and I live in Vermont, in the United States. My tastes in LEGO are pretty varied, but I believe I had the most sets of Pirates and Space. The pride and joys of my collection when I was younger were Enchanted Island, the Deep Freeze Defender, and Fort Legoredo. (As I said, my collection was varied.) I'm also a big fan of the current fan-made post-apocalyptic theme, and I've been trying out different designs for a zombie attack on a survivor stronghold. (Haven't found one I'm happy with yet, though.) Anyway, I can't wait to post my entries to the contest, and I'll be hanging around! Edited April 13, 2008 by Dufresne Quote

legotrainfan Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 Hi and welcome to eurobricks! So you've become a victim of the charm of your bricks again? Has your name (Dufresne) been inspired by the movie The Shawshank Redemption? The protagonist's name is Andy Dufresne. I'm just curious to know. It's one of my favourite movies. Quote

It's my favorite movie too. I'm making a suitable avatar, but it's going to require some photoshopping, since it involves a certain pose that minifigs just aren't capable of. I think you'll like it. Dufresne Posted April 14, 2008 Author Posted April 14, 2008 After setting up my Brickshelf account, I've got one question. How do you use a thumbnail as the icon for a folder, instead of the default folder image? Quote
Siegfried Posted April 15, 2008 Posted April 15, 2008 Welcome to Eurobricks. Thanks for taking the time to make a great into. After setting up my Brickshelf account, I've got one question. How do you use a thumbnail as the icon for a folder, instead of the default folder image? Isn't the first image in alphabetical order made to be the folder thumbnail once the images are moderated? That's how it's worked for me.... I think. Quote
