xwingyoda Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 Their was a jedi hutt in the EU, there was a few artist pics of him with his lightsabre, that was pretty strange to see There goes the Jedi ideal Errr mate Jabba wasnt the last of his species, in the EU many more hutts have appeared. I know but if you are not a real SW geek and only know the movies, you can have that feeling I was thinking that we could have a decent Jabba's palace now tks to the CW In that trailer we see clearly Jabba's throne and Obie negotiating with him !! A CW Jabba MF could be swet !! Printed face on !! Quote

A CW Jabba MF could be swet !! Printed face on !! You are a SW geek, so you should know that Anyway a decent Throne room would be great, but i doubt it could ever live up to what we would want. It would have to be huge and include a rancor, so i can't ever see was satisfied. Still i would like to see a new painted jabba, that would be cool. Oh and anyone notice the duel between obi and ventress looks like it takes place on top of jabbas palace? Quote

She looks a tad different that in the first trailer But it my be me Quote
simonjedi Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 :D Awesome, really looking foward to it now, bring on 08 sets, if you see 0:34 you see a jedi on an AT-TE Quote
CF Mitch Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 Are we sure its Asajj ??She looks a tad different that in the first trailer But it my be me Well, she sounds the same Although I must admit she looks a bit different. Thanks for this trailer btw, it's really cool, lot's of new stuff to see Jabba looks really cool I think, in this kind of animation. About the 'Jabba's son'-issue... you also hear Anakin talking about some "Gardolla The Hutt" or something like that, when he tells Qui-Gonn that he and his mom used to belong to her, atleast I think it's a 'her' and therefore indeed Jabba's wife And I also think that the little Hutt will die, since we never hear of him again... Vader Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 Are we sure its Asajj ?? She looks a tad different that in the first trailer But it my be me It's her from what i can tell, if not then i would be shocked. Anakin and Shmi belonged to Gardulla the Elder: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Gardulla_the_Elder, she sure looks alot like the hutt that was with jabba in ep 1. Quote
Palin Jax Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 Palin, I remember we had talk about that from the first trailer Probably is since there are no other new ships in both trailers. Ahhh yes, I do remember. But my findings were never substantiated to the masses ... so to speak. I think that these finding only reiterate my point. I shall now bathe in the vain glory of immortal greatness.... Nay... just kidding, but it does make a great point to my earlier hypothesis. It's gotta be the Twilight. And... It will look darn nice sitting next to the Rogue Shadow, in my opinion, though technically, at this point, Anakin is still "good" . (sorry, I'm rather slow, and this my only ever be my one chance to have an I told you so moment, hences the first line... I am not vain... really, I am not ) Quote

Ah tks I couldn't remember the name But Jabba with tits is not a joyfull sight (sorry, I'm rather slow, and this my only ever be my one chance to have an I told you so moment, hences the first line... I am not vain... really, I am not ) When we all give hypothesis no one believes us !! Like in the first trailer, when Vad and I saod that door was Jabba's palace !! So I guess it will be the same with the Twilight !! The only vehicle we don't see in the trailers is the P38 !! So I wonder of those magna guards do pilot ships or its just a random set. Quote
trooperdavinfelth Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 :D Awesome, really looking foward to it now, bring on 08 sets,if you see 0:34 you see a jedi on an AT-TE That's Ashoka Tano, Anakin's Apprentice. If you watched the video of the guy in the cowboy hat he would explain who she is and you'd see her up close. Quote
Sir Dano Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 hey, I gotta ask, Is it just my crappy monitor or did Asajj have yellow lightsabers? Quote
xwingyoda Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 hey, I gotta ask, Is it just my crappy monitor or did Asajj have yellow lightsabers? You are correct !! You see it twice actually: at the beginning but at the end you see she wields a double sided lightsaber like Darth Maul Ok so this is weird since the lightsaber hilts Cout Dooku offered her in the CW are the ones TLC will give us and not this one !! So the glow in the dark blades will indeed come handy for her Quote
Sir Dano Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 (edited) you see she wields a double sided lightsaber like Darth Maul although they never showed it in the first CW series those 'sabers actually do connect together. read that in "The New Essential Guide to Weapons and Technology" gotta dig out the book now to give the exact description. Edited April 14, 2008 by sir dano Quote
xwingyoda Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 although they never showed it in the first CW series those 'sabers actually do connect together. I was about to edit my post Okie so after viewing it several times, I was wrong, its not a Maul type double blade but 2 "nunchuks" blades that cannot connect together. Look at thopse pics I doubt they can connect together since the hilts are not strait. Its weird they are not red though. Sure red is the colour of Sith but likre Dooku pointed out, she is no sith Quote
Sir Dano Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 Got out the book, heres the description: The misguided Dark Jedi Asajj Ventress combined unusual handle design with the double-bladed lightsaber concept to develop yet another unique lightsaber variant. Each of Ventress's two Lightsabers had a curved handle. During most encounters, she battled with one lightsaber in each hand. For specific battles, however, such as her confrontation with Mace Windu, she attached the hilts. when attached, the blades emerged at slight angles, resulting in a double-bladed weapon that was extremely hard to deflect or counter. Now who knows the most about Star Wars? Quote
xwingyoda Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 Now who knows the most about Star Wars? yeay yeay yeay So where is my explenation regarding the lack of red blades Quote
Sir Dano Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 (edited) yeay yeay yeay So where is my explenation regarding the lack of red blades Tell ya once I've seen the movie. Dan, the Star Wars semi-uber-nerd. Edited April 14, 2008 by sir dano Quote
xwingyoda Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 Tell ya once I've seen the movie. Here are some info taken from my ultimate source of nerd reading: SW.com Asajj has perfected a lightsaber combat form that uses paired blades to strike and parry. She carried twin weapons given to her by Count Dooku, and each bears a similar archaic curved handle design favored by the former Jedi Master. Ventress' lightsaber handles are especially modified so that they can connect into a joined, S-shaped handle, becoming a double-bladed lightsaber. From the above pic I cannot picture how she coulmd fight with those curved lightsaber joined together Quote
Sir Dano Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 (edited) Here are some info taken from my ultimate source of nerd reading: SW.com Lucky you. All I get when I try to get on SW.com is an error message. Edit: Yay I finally figured out a way to get on SW.com! Now on to Hutts and Their children: The Hutts are a hodgepodge of evolutionary traits. Like annelids, they are hermaphroditic, containing both male and female reproductive organs. Hutts are generally considered male unless they are pregnant, at which point they are referred to as female. Like marsupial mammals, Hutts nurse their young Huttlets in special brood pouches. knowing George though, he probably changed that in the movie. Edited April 14, 2008 by sir dano Quote
The Kid Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 Didn't she connect her 'sabers during Volume 1 of the first Clone Wars series? TK Quote

Irrespective, given that Hutts change sex, they probably grow breasts when they are female Quote

I do hope that when those hutts change sex and grow breast they change their voice as well Quote
Corvus Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 Errr, where did we get it that the Hutt in Ep. 1 is Jabba's wife? Seeing as they're hermaphrodites, that's probably Jabba's son, what's-his-name, Rotta? Quote
