Players can sign up for both the Adventure MRCA and the Trade MRCA, but individual ships can only participate in one or the other, not both simultaneously.

To sign-up for the Adventure MRCA, read the rules here and then sign-up via this form.

To sign-up for the Trade MRCA, read the rules here and then sign-up via this form.

For a ship to take part in either MRCA, it must be licensed. You can license your ship under the new ship rules via this form. If there are any issues (typo, wrong number of points or other issues) with this process, PM @Legostone.

 

Note that the MRCA signup form still doesn’t have raids added yet, so if you’re interested in conducting a raid this turn, PM @Capt Wolf. If you’re just going to be trading, you can go ahead and fill out the forms normally.

I think the only thing that has changed is the addition of pirate hideouts.

I think this deadline is too soon, and I want to explain why.

 

We have Christmas upcoming, and I doubt any building will get done during these days. I also know that I feel more than lazy "between years", and believe many do feel the same way. That is not even taking into account the two mini-challenges we have currently running.

 

So... why so soon? If anything, the MRCAs are not delayed by their deadlines, but by the process coming afterwards. Would a later deadline not help relax the "building tension" for everybody as well as give more time to you guys behind the scenes to get stuff sorted out for the next turn?

 

How about the 22nd? Two more weeks in general, with both mini-challenges done, and some time on top. People can relax during the holidays and then get back to building. Sounds like a win-win situation for everybody to me.

I appreciate your reasoning and request. That said, the KPA was published a week ago, AMRCA results were out long before that, and I had others who were telling me the deadline wasn't soon enough. It'll be four weeks between the December KPA and the January deadline, and we've tried to make it no more than 3 weeks in the past. And we generally have always wanted the MRCAs to have early monthly deadlines. So, I'm sticking with January 8.

@Drunknok Why? You only need to fill out the form. ship from to fighting x and x. 

And for the adventures where you need to build, but for there wasn't a delay in the results (no need to wait on the KPA)

Okay you may all have seen my topic about the military exercise in Quinnsville between me and @LM71Blackbird

But I was going over the form, but how/where do I indicate that I'm sailing to Quinnsville with the intent to raid?
Now it just looks like I'm going there on a trade run.

I would like to ask for an extension of the deadline for my personal AMRCA. The reasons being both some RL trouble as well as me still not having that "secret info" announced on September 2nd. Some AMRCA decisions to be made require that info, possibly changing the builds I have to do.

Talking about that, when Will it be possible for me to sail in a TMRCA to Madin or Drolic? Since I put tradeposts there (through AMRCA), they should be open for me to visit?

That would be enough, thank you. And thanks for finally getting to that "secret info" - I understand that things can fall by the wayside, but this turn I actually needed it. So all is well now!

A short OOC notice: due to this event, Mesabi Landing will close its harbour for any non-WTC vessel until further notice.*

Please relay any of your traffic to another settlement. Mesabi Landing is in the same zone as Jameston and Fatu Hiva, both of which offer suitably large harbours for good trading.

Individual cases for this turn (and possibly later ones) can be handled with individual solutions. @Bregir has already been given an option for his Satyr for example. The offer towards @Professor Thaum still stands (no time limit has been given), he just can not use it for the time being.

 

An IC statement will be given in due time.

 

If anybody wishes to complain about the bad timing: direct these complaints to the Court, this is really none of my fault.

 

 

* ... please note that this does not mean any WTC vessel will sail from Mesabi Landing this turn, so hold your breath about cries of "unfair!".

I would like to ask for an extention for starting the aMRCA "A Diplomatic Mission". I am waiting for some parts that never seem to arrive. The previously mentioned 12th January would probably work.

I‘ll grand the extension, holidays have just passed and shipping troubles are expected. But please, already submit the forms already (even with wrong data) as they help tremendously preparing the amrca. Same applies for @Drunknok, fill out the form, we know its delayed but its impractical having to keep track of this manually.
