Yeah!

This means that the app will be upgraded to control also a standard backhoe excavator, making excavator mocs possible.

I'm curious to see how they designed the bucket in the backhoe configuration. By the way, in this configuration you lose the 7th function (openable bucket).

I have started a model B backhoe of my own and now I know more about the internal structure I can crack on with it. I will be interesting as to how they go about the design.

Relax dude, we'll find out sooner or later. I'd prepare for something like $450-500USD though

I would bet on 449$, if Lego continues to use the 1:1 exchange rate. Of course, this set doesn't come out before october, so there is still some time for a particular president to change that ;)

Technic doesn't quite follow that rate. Most Technic sets are more in $.

you are right, I only checked the other recent large expensive sets. Although the Bugatti is actually cheaper, so anything between 400 and 500$ is possible I guess.

Bugatti is Ultimate, those are a different story.

Also, if you remember, 42082 was 70 more in $ than in €. And it was nearly twice cheaper in general. So $550 is also possible.

This presale from Otten is based on an import from Germany
Lego Netherlands does not approve a presale before August
I have this information from an official NL Lego dealer wich I shall not mention at this moment.
This dealer will start a presale on 8-1

Besides that
I read the conditions of Otten and I laughed my megablocks off
its 99% against all internet sale laws, as well as NL as the entire EU

I would think twice before buying from such a lawbreaker.

I find the presale price very interesting as it starts to pull it down to a more affordable number - if they can do it for presale, the retailers will also offer similar i suspect. low 300's is a lot better than 400. Maybe we'll see some on amazon for 330 euro's...

30-45% discount over the last few years, just takes some patience

I think i will be adopting that approach.. love the set, but i'm happy to wait until the price comes down a bit.

What is the part that forms the net above the fans?

Not sure if this has been mentioned before already - do we know if the cooling fans will be powered or are they just static decorative elements?

Same thing happened to me when the Arocs came out, and 4 years later I'm still here and glad I stayed. Very glad to see you posting here again
