Pate-keetongu Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 This is an one-and-half-year-old WIP completed recently. It is based on Czech Art Nouveu artist Alphonso Mucha's drawing "Study for visual arts" from 1898. It is a sketch for a series of decorative panels depicting art forms. In my model, the figure sits on river bank; a delightful summer scene for midwinter! The rainbow-ish circle is a callback to round "halos" common in Mucha's ornamentation. More photos and stuff on my blog Cyclopic Bricks. Quote
