ABSAddict Posted February 6, 2019 Posted February 6, 2019 Hi, folks, I'm new to the forum, so bear with me if I am posting this in the wrong section. I'm going to assume that LEGO IDEAS falls under the special themes category. I have recently embarked on a build of the new LEGO Saturn V model. I'll post progress pics here, but I will be elaborating with a more detailed commentary on my 'Tales From The Double Decker Couch' blog, found here: https://castlelego.blogspot.com/ Please visit, as I update the blog frequently. Questions and comments a very welcome! Cheers! Quote

It varies from set to set - things like the various licensed pop-culture entertainment Ideas sets normally go in Licensed, City-applicable sets (Research Institute, Old Fishing Store) go in Town, and so on. This is a fine place for discussion of the Saturn V. Enjoy it! It’s a fantastic set. Quote

NathanR Posted February 21, 2019 Posted February 21, 2019 Yep, the Saturn V is one of the best Lego models ever released. I basically spent last year designing an 8100 piece model of the launch tower to go with it. There's not that much interest here on eurobricks, but there is a brilliant group on facebook called "Lego Saturn V mods and space builds". Originally dedicated to mods and improvements on the Saturn V Ideas set, it has expanded to cover 1:110 scale Lego models of just about every rocket, shuttle and satellite ever created. Quote
