Unfortunately not. You have generated files without outlines. When I open them in Brick Studio and generate outlines the artifact is there.

I just found out that the head antenna from the alien Imposter minfig is its own piece, and I've been wanting them to add a relatively compact utensil-sized scifi antenna piece just like it for a while now.

I know there almost certainly isn't a model available yet, but I wanted to make sure it made it on to the waitlist.

Yes, it is in the to-do list. There is a 3D model available but there is still some work to do.

Made a pair of short legs that are dual-moulded half and half (which we don't have yet in LDD). Part number 37679 (via the Mecabricks database, but geometry data is all from existing LDD parts). Feet are decorable. Link

Much less useful, but I also made the classic 2003 Geonosian head, based on the model from Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars. Has custom collision and correct part number (44376). Link

I have a few more custom parts I've made but I'm not sure how useful or desired they are (decorable arches, but they've only been decorated 30 years ago and the decoration texture I made isn't the highest standard maybe, etc). Thanks for all your work!

Does this mean you know how to make the regular-size dual-molded legs decorable?

as far as I understand, the only issue with making dual-moulded parts decorable is having the correct UV mapping. I haven't delved into the standard sized legs so maybe there's an issue that's unique to them.

Yes, I fixed this. And it will be in the next update. Together with an awesome UV map for the hips, legs, toes and sides of the legs.

I'm not sure about the other parts, but the gear shifter's already in there. I toyed with the notion of using it in something I was building yesterday.

Got a new computer and am updating LDD pallets and it's been a while since the last time I did this, so I have to ask where do I put the "Additional, Optional Palettes" folder?

The folders within that folder, you can add to the LEGO Digital Designer --> Palletes folder.

Hello all,

I hope this is the place for a sort of noobish question. I don't modify parts or anything , just regular user trying to get more parts working.

I have updated LDD a couple of times but I just downloaded the 20240504 update and I'm a bit stumped on the folder structure. Per instructions, I'm supposed  to just extract into the "Lego Digital Designer" folder (which is where the db folder is found), but I see that this package contains a Lego Digital Designer folder on its own, alongside several .lxf files, plus a folder called "Additional, optional palettes". So I'm not sure where I should copy/paste each of the elements here. Any help will be appreciated.

Heya! Firstly, thank you to everyone who's worked on keeping LDD functional!

Now on to my problem.. I cant find This Part in LDD, I've tried searching for peg, bar, pin, and then (perhaps not carefully enough) checking all the categories, using extended mode. I also made sure I updated my LDD today, just in case.

Thank you for your time!

Edit: Part #61184 3 w.arch w.knob and shaft  3.2, I found it.
