Takanuinuva Posted September 22, 2024 Posted September 22, 2024 I downloaded the supposed fixed update. And also had that crash error loading the parts LXF However I think I did find some of the issue. In my ? Mark folder is the new leg part, Mini hook and baymax's arm. Along with some shock absorbers. I don't really have a need for them. So I'm fine with just leaving them there. However I do also have the crash issue with the heads folders. And not exactly sure what exactly are the g files I'm supposed to delete. Quote

First delete all g files from the Primitives folder under the db folder (not the LOD0 folder of course!), then reinstall the fixed update, should solve all issues except for the missing files and decorations. These .g files were misplaced and a reinstall should put them back into the correct folder instead of having to manually move things around yourself. Edited September 22, 2024 by suenkachun Quote

You have to delete those. It's about 10-13 files. Quote
Jaco Posted September 22, 2024 Posted September 22, 2024 I just downloaded and copied the files. Opening the 240120.lxf file gave no errors for me. Thank you! Quote
Stephan Posted September 22, 2024 Posted September 22, 2024 Sorry for the issues! Due to time constraints there was no development version available which could be checked... Will be better for upcoming updates! Quote

Looks like several shock absorbers are missing on my end too from the screenshot so the 30 missing files must at least include both Decorations and the shock absorbers. Quote

Thanks as there doesn't appear to be any files from today in said lodo file. I did restore my lodo file so I have everything even the bugged parts. For the record I did what I've always done with the other updates Copy and paste the DB and Pallete folders from the update to the main one. Edited September 22, 2024 by Takanuinuva Quote

It was part 5660 https://bricksafe.com/files/stephan3321/ldd-new-parts/5660.png Removed the files for it and the head folder works fine. (I don't really use star wars parts so I can work with my LDD as is for now) Did notice the Ninjago minifigure parts weren't included with this update. Guessing a later update instead for them? Good to hear! Yes, NINJAGO will be in the next update. I didn't want to delay for another 3 months. Quote

BrokenEye Posted September 24, 2024 Posted September 24, 2024 Hey, what are the optional stickers? I can't find any detail on them in the key topic or on the blog, other than that they're available. I'm not even sure which screenshot shows them. Are they something different from decorations, or have they been set apart for some other reason? Quote
anothergol Posted September 24, 2024 Posted September 24, 2024 Loving the update! However, the LDD is now seeing a collision between these 2 and is removing them when loading. Here shown in dev mode: I've checked the grille part and it doesn't seem to have been edited recently, weird. The file (for 2412) only has one collision box (which could be the issue, because of the tile's lip). Sadly I didn't make a backup first, so I can't say if the previous one had a different collision. But the file being from 2020, I assume there's no need for me to check an older update. Does this ring any bell? Quote

Are they something different from decorations, or have they been set apart for some other reason The stickers are simply also decoration png's. They are not included in screenshots because LDD does not really like the 8 digit number assigned to them. For example you can not switch between LDD modes when you added stickers. But, if you recreate official sets, you can copy paste the files into the Decoration folder and simply apple them with the Decoration tool. 11 hours ago, anothergol said: Does this ring any bell?
