Hello all,

As the title said, I have been lurking on the forums for quite a while. Almost exclusively on the Technic Theme Part, because that's what I enjoy the most.
A little about me:
I'm Stefan, born and raised in the Netherlands since 1984.
Been building Technic since a very early age, such a long time ago that I cannot remember when it was.
3 Moments I can still remember (in no particular order):
One is buying the Forklift Transport 8872 with my parents in a store around 30 minute drive from my house.
Second one is buying the Air Tech Claw Rig 8868 for 230 gulden with 230 1-gulden coins. The sales-employee was not to happy about that, but I was. Long time saving those coins and finally a huge Technic set.
The third memory is me telling my grandfather that I would teach him how to build things from Lego Technic. I was 8 years, or even younger, but definitely not older because he passed away when I was 8.
I entered my dark age around my 13th and got back into it 3 years ago. At that moment my little nephew was 2 years old and every week I saw him and build something different to play with together.
At his request I build some fun things: Tow trucks with 3 winches, tiny tracked RC racers and a car transporter on tracks.
Recently I found Stud.io 2 on Bricklink and used that for the Technic Competition 15 here on the forum, which is also the reason to come out of hiding :laugh:.

Hello Stefan, welcome out of your 'dark ages' and to Eurobricks!

I'm glad that you finally decided to sign up and join in the discussion.

The Technic forum awaits and people there will be very happy to have another member to discuss Technic topics with.

Welcome to (non-lurking) EB, Stefan!  Thanks for sharing those memories- I too remember some of that excitement in a store with a Lego box in my hands after a lot of hard work and savings.  Those creative builds sparked by your nephew make me think he should run a building contest on here.    You're definitely in good company here, and we're happy to have you.  Happy building!

Welcome to Eurobricks!
