Posted March 12, 20195 yr Last time (in this topic https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/168782-moc-ss-venture/ ) I promised that I'll show you where our favored adventurers team is swimming. So here they are. :-) Johnny Thunder and Dr Kilroy go to the bottom of the sea to find Poseidon's Trident. Please listen to soundtrack https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c0vFUxE3SrM and find all of octopuses. :-) https://www.flickr.com/photos/158283415@N03/47351956131/in/photostream/ Edited March 12, 20195 yr by Jellyeater
March 13, 20195 yr Whoah, this is amazing! How did you manage the backdrop? -- is it something behind the set, or did you add it later with Photoshop? I love the picture from above, looking down on the boat and the sunken temple, but -- I'm terrified that those two plastic pillars will buckle and break! I also really like the pile of pieces in the corner to look like a ragged seafloor.
March 13, 20195 yr Author Thank you for visit. :-) How did you manage the backdrop This is polypropylene photographic background, and some Photoshop. :-)
March 13, 20195 yr Very nicely done sunken temple scene! I love all the details, especially the entirely period-accurate diving bell & air-delivery hoses that were actually used on those old-school deep-sea diving suits.
March 14, 20195 yr Maybe the Mermaid from the CMF series 9 could have been there... And why not Poseidon Himslef, in the form of the Ocean King, also from CMF. Amazing MOC! Incredibly detailed! I especially like how you made the Ship "float" using those transparent pieces. Edited March 14, 20195 yr by Lego David
March 14, 20195 yr Wow! Darn Cool MOCs there! Love the sunken ruined temple! The ship is nicely detailed too! And definitely dig the decoration/foliage of the ocean floor!
March 28, 20195 yr Author Thank you, for all this kind words. I really want to start another MOC after that. :-)
March 28, 20195 yr this is real fun! I love the diving bell, haven't seen a MOC of that in ages. The soundtrack was a nice touch.
April 10, 20195 yr The details on the temple ruins are really well done and cohesive--the damaged sediment, and the color variance especially. The characters are all well placed, and the addition of the diving bell is nice.
April 10, 20195 yr The rust effect on the boat is really impressive, as is the temple itself. I'm a sucker for Adventurer MOCs, and this one's really something else. I also noticed you included Pippin with the pith helmet from the Collectible Minifigure Series, and I'm shocked I haven't tried that yet. Any possibility we could get a better look at the ship?
April 15, 20195 yr Like it a lot. Great temple with those 'tan'? parts. It gives it a real weatherd look. Amazing plants/coral too. That plant with all those fishes is a nice idea.
April 18, 20195 yr I know the MOC is named after the temple, but I really love the ship. Those rust streaks are beautiful. Great work and thanks for sharing!

Hi Kintobor, may I ask which minifig from the CMS you meant? This one https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?M=col200#T=S&O={"iconly":0} is the only one I found which has not the classic, but the modern pith helmet. But the one on the ship seems to have a green torso which this lady does not have. Thanks and cheers, The Reader
