Pretty much it. You can post in the buy/sell/trade/finds forum asking for people offering any, but it's rare.

I already did, before you even suggested it, so I lay claim to any Fabuland for trade in the USA.

(Sorry for being Off-Topic)

They even had movies, sorry I couldn't help showing you this.

And featuring our favorite Walrus local to Eurobricks!

I wonder what they did with those clay figs...

Probably because clays is easier to move and they could make more positions with fabuland.

I don't have many Fabuland figures but I have this strange one.(its the one closest to the right) It also says Birking Head Point Sydney Lego Center or something.

The Hippo

Does anyone know anything about it?

These Fabuland figs were sold at the Birking Head Point Sydney Lego Center. I'm not sure if it is still open. Either way your figure is rarer than most, highly collectible and is valued at about $20.00 USD.

Hope this helps!

I wanted to know what happened to the clay figs after Lego was done with them.

As far as I know they have never shown up after the show. A lot of times these things are either destroyed or given to employees. Since they are clay they may have not held up the 20 past years unless they were preserved somehow. FilmFair the animation studio that made Edward and Friends seems to be defunct as well. :cry_sad:

Hey guys I would like to show you my very *first* Fabuland fig mod. I made a dolphin for my first attempt because I thought it would be easier (no hair ridges). I'm pretty pleased with him. I made him out of Sculpey clay-- the modeling part was not too bad, the painting however was a PITA.

I think I'm going to try a tiger next.

The site looks great! I think you've just about covered everything Fabulandy on the web.

That Dolphin looks really nice. I'm unsure about the actual concept (as, unlike official Fabuland animals, dolphins aren't quadrupeds, and so the body doesn't quite fit), but the execution and presentation are outstanding

If it's ok with Shadows, I vote that Fabfabuland becomes an FBG member!

You know, if you go to My Controls (top toolbar, below the site banner) > Edit Signature (Under Personal Profile, 4th box down on the left-hand Menu), you don't have to paste this every time, as it will appear automatically

Thank you very much! Its been very enjoyable and I really like this board!

You know what? I never realised that the Fabuland animals are all quadrupeds. That is very interesting. I can only imagine though what animals didn't make the cut. Polar bears, tigers, gorillas, kangaroos, squirrels, chipmunks. These all would have been good candidates for Fabuland.

Could you do a dragon at some point?

Btw, you may be surprised not to find your original topic for the Fabuland Dolphin in this forum this morning. I just restored it and moved it to the Minifg Customization Workshop, for also non-Fabuland afficionados to see and comment

A dragon it is! (tries to get the Fabuland Croc out of her head. He must be unique!) Thanks for all the support you guys! :sweet: Hopefully I will have something to show over the weekend.

I can now say that I'm the proud owner of my first Fabuland figures!

I'm so happy!

I can't wait to get more!

And yet another victim of addiction...Quite like myself.

Well, now I know at least I'm not the only one who wants more Fabuland, after just getting one sole figure. A walrus, at that.

Needless to say, I've been waiting for a large package (chock full of Fabuland) to arrive from France all this week.

Good to know that I've helped infect one more Fabuland victim.

You do know that I was searching for that Walrus minifig for high and low for this exclusive coverage.

He is a special minifig.

Oh and I've decided I'm getting a new sigfig and it going to be a fabuland bear.

Imperial Shadows is it possible for you to add my MOC to the fabuland index, just click the pic on my sig.

Thanks. Now I have yet another theme to direct my wallet towards.

I actually have yet to buy that version of the Warus, although I need about 10.

The one Shadows gave me has the plain red torso, blue legs, and no hat. Still a lovable little guy though.

It just occurred to me that I ordered about five CopMike-style bulldogs on Bricklink...

Ooh, I want that Sinner head!:wub: (Nope, I will never call him Siegfried. He is marked "Sinner" for life!:devil: )

Just a quick update on my dragon fabuland minifig...

Still working on it. The dragon is substantially harder to sculpt than my previous dolphin (you know dolphins and their lovely smooth skin) So I'm working on perfecting the dragon's nostrils and scales. Going to try to build a mold out of Sculpey tonight to see if I can work with some of the scales from the croc. We'll see how it goes :sceptic:

I just figured out that the raccoon in set 324 is called Ricky. I have this set: the face print on the fig is seriously worn and his legs are so loose he can barely stand up, but the bike is still in one piece (unlike my bike from 3628). Given my first name I have to consider using Ricky Raccoon as my sigfig.

This thread and the FBG is really addictive.

btw: Don't know if this has been mentioned, but Sybrand Bonsma, is recreating/restructuring his Unofficial Fabuland Homepage at http://www.fabuland.net

How might I repair this:

mine has no wheels... Where can I get spares if it is fixable?

How wide are the wheel clips? If they fit a bar in them, you could probably build some new wheels.

I doubt you're going to find any loose fabuland scooter wheels anywhere - Bricklink doesn't have them...
