Yes, sadly bricklink doesn't have the Fabuland minifigs inventoried, so it's impossible to get just a head or arms. The same goes for scooters, as they are old, unlikely to be reproduced and the wheels are exclusive to Fabuland.

I have 19 Fabuland figures currently, and I plan on making the a Fabuland scaled casino and rebuild my Fabuland layout.

How might I repair this:

fabac3.jpg

mine has no wheels... Where can I get spares if it is fixable?

I'm able to remove the wheels from my scooter - but then again, that may be a side affect of many years inbreeding...

I suggest buying a new scooter. The wheels aren't available on Bricklink, and they might be locked in on certain models, so the chance of you finding a solution to fix the scooter is low.

Shoot! I was going by the information that others provided. It just goes to show that you should check for yourself. *smacks head*

Ooh, I want that Sinner head!:wub: (Nope, I will never call him Siegfried. He is marked "Sinner" for life!:devil: )

It's OK. I should remind you though that my head is the older type...

I noticed in Hincley's "wacker and the walrus" he's got pictures with the new and old head.

So you got a head transplant* then, because your body is the new type with anchor print (I should also get a walrus one day to do some whacking...).

* or a body transplant, of course, depending on your point of view.

Aren't the eyes the difference? New ones all googley, old ones dots?

EDIT: I almost forgot that my package arrived a few days ago. So, as soon as I can find a camera, I'll be posting a few new MOCs with them. I still need a Sinner Walrus, to go with that Blue "mid-scale" tank and the blue bucket...

Hey everyone! Still working on that blasted dragon Fabuland fig mod. I have switched to using Super Sculpey because its firmer. Dragons have a lot of details, and I'm trying not to over do it to maintain a Fabuland look and scale. I've been working on it for two weeks now, and I need to take a break. Its not an abandoned project, I'm just a little rusty at sculpting super detailed items these days-- and I think if I work on other projects I can work up to it.

Sculpting small characters is very challenging and I tip my hat off to toy makers! The hardest part I have found trying to recreate Fabuland figs is the hair/ scale textures oh and NOSTRILS <sigh>. Tough stuff!

So I'm going to make a rhino next. He should be ready to photograph by the weekend.

I am also working on a blog companion to fabfabuland.com. There is so much cool Fabuland stuff out there, and I think it would be good for the community to have regular updates (whether it is MOCs, builder interviews, fun facts, youtube videos etc). I will post the link when I get a few more things set up on it.

I hope everyone is well and enjoying their summers (or winters depending on where you live  ).

3799632700_c57397263e.jpgWell here is my Fab frankenstein monster #2. He is a rhino. I'm pretty happy with him but his head is just a tidge bigger than the others (not so bad compared to the lion and elephant). This is a silly pic I know but I was puttering around in my garden after I had painted him, and took a pic with his fellow neighbors. I will post better pics soon to show all his gory details (Ay! the finger prints!)

That rhino sure looks good! Another of the animals that Lego should have released as part of the theme.

And the interview is very enlightening too! Good job

Sorry if this has been asked before, but how does one join the Guild? I have a package of Fabuland 'figs coming in the mail, and would like to become a Guild member! :classic:

Membership in the FBG is given by the current members to builders who show an interest and talent in utilizing Fabuland to create wonderful things.

In other words... if you build it, it will come. :classic:

Really? That easy?

I expected there to be some sort of initiation crap involving pain and ABS Plastic Surgery or something.
