Fenghuang0296 Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 (edited) After many revisions and expansions, I've finally developed my Hall of Armour MOC to the point where . . okay to be honest I ran out of pieces and can't make it any larger without a Bricklink order. I was originally planning to have eight slots to display armour plus a larger space for Igor, and 'minifig space' would just be a gantry and the computer/workbench from the official set. I ended up with all that, plus integrating the armour assembly platform from the official set, three extra slots for suits, a small place to analyse 'defective' suits (to be indefinitely occupied by the Mark V so that I can put that Mark V schematic sticker from the set to good use), and a hand-operated elevator. I've put a selection of photos on Imgur. I'd really appreciate any feedback or suggestions, since this is my first MOC that I've felt good enough about to share online. So, what does everyone think? https://imgur.com/a/klIiNVy EDIT: Also, I have the current edition of my modified Mark 38/Igor on display, which is currently in its fourth iteration. It is not complete yet, as I'm missing a couple of key parts that I need to finish the greebling around the head. But I'm confident that what's on show there is a significant improvement over the official one, at the very least. Edited April 7, 2019 by Feng-huang0296 Quote
Fenghuang0296 Posted April 9, 2019 Author Posted April 9, 2019 After some more trials and alterations, I've come up with a design for the Igor/Mark 38 the I'm satisfied with. Having made the feet shorter and improved the way it wraps around the pilot Minifigures, I am, at least for the time being, satisfied with my Igor design. https://imgur.com/T51awPF https://imgur.com/4xc7kXh If you want more/closer pictures, just ask!
