Hello everyone,

today I want to present two new UIC wagons.

They are very simple but also very effective and they will surely be liked by Italian AFOLs.

My favorite, since a was a child, is the Trans Euro Night and its blue livery...

...but also the red liver cars are famous...

The secret to achieving the wagons economically was to recreate the windows of the 12 volts system with stickers (these windows in dark red and dark blue wouldn't even exist)

Now I can finally run the Caiman E656 with the whole convoy! :sweet:

All aboard!

Very nice work, as usual.

I am pleased to see your return to Italian rolling stock :laugh_hard:

Very nice wagons

You can actually forego the stickers for the dark red and dark blue train windows and built an almost matching version out of bricks.
A fellow Danish LUG member, Lars Mogensen, worked out this brilliant technique for his amazing wagons :classic:
Some few spacing limitations remain but he is working hard at refining the technique...

I didn't know this technique which I consider fantastic, in my case however, there is no room between the windows and it cannot be used

Beautiful wagons! The stickers around the windows look great, as do the barely-inset doors!

Thanks, the effect of the recessed door is a nice solution also for me

Nice coaches you've build there. Do they have an interior?

Very cute, as always!

As you are the MOI (Master of Illumination ) for Lego train models, do they have tail and interior lights?

Completely off-topic question:
What is that magnificent station in the first image? Milano Centrale?

Hi Sven, I was tempted to put tail lights but it seemed like I was wronging other wagons ...wagon like these...

...so I let it run (like someone could say: Germany first!)

About your question, I confirm: in the first picture the Caimano is leaving Milano Centrale

The stickers do make it look right for the windows.

Thanks Feuer Zug I was lucky to find the exact colors :classic:

How did you achieve the color match so well?

Thank you very much Roadmonkeytj, about he colours I've used the C/M/Y/K value found here with the software Adobe Illustrator.

At last but not least my print shop had the right colors in the plotter to print the stickers file.

Nice cars! Like you said, simple but effective ;-)

I remember my dad had one of those TEN cars in his N-scale layout. Very recognisable!
