Yes. Will, Dustin and the Demogorgan all have specialised head/ hair pieces new for this set.

The reveal has been planned for the 15th ever since the beginning, I don't see a reason to be upset about teasers. That's like being mad at a movie company for releasing 4 trailers instead of just bringing the film out, earlier than expected to

Sorry to disappoint you but the size reference is the Demogorgon. The waffle print is also 1x1, not 2x2

Another one, when they already have 2x2 tiles? Huh. A 1x1 is probably closer to accurate in scale (not that scale is ever truly accurate when it comes to anything involving minifigures), but I’d rather have gotten more waffle tiles to match the one already available.

Still glad it’s there, though!

The Demogorgon head was my second pick for “Actual size” element.

I guess they don't have any of those pieces anymore - it's been 5 years since we last saw them in a set. You also have to remember that Netflix had a lot to say about the product design. If they wanted smaller waffles, they, got smaller waffles

Really glad they did do that, as much as the open mouth version is cool, for most of the show you just saw it with the closed mouth, I think I might display it with that

The dots from the lightbrick are interesting. It seems like there's some kind of "filter" in front of the brick, maybe with a sticker, to generate this effect. I wonder if looks like this in real life or that's just in the rendering.

It probably won’t look as clean as that in real life, but then again the light source is quite close to maybe.

its like the ultimate batmobile bat signal, only really works well when really close to something, but the box shows it making an perfect symbol

nice to see they definitely are gonna have the venom web pieces with lights on though. I still don’t see how the trees are gonna hold this thing up, they don’t look strong enough

EDIT: looks like there’s a missing poster for Will on the coffee table, that’s pretty neat

I don't think that's a problem, looks strong enough to me. The question is, how easy will it tip over. That looks like the bigger problem to me, especially with the car up there.

There was a somewhat similar feature used in this years TLM2 Party Bus, which you can see in Jangsbrick's review at 4:40.

However the one in this set looks to have either a sticker or piece in front of the light brick to create that effect, or is it a completely new light brick? Is it a 2x4 light brick, have we ever gotten one of those before?

I think it's just a normal lightbrick on a 2x4 plate.

Think I worded wrong. The trunk structure looks strong, but the branches that form the base look quite flimsy to me, they don’t look they have enough surface area to stop it falling over

Damn, poor Will. TLG is no stranger to making terrified kid-faces, but he is sleep-deprived and traumatized. Holy crap- I know this probably isn't the place to discuss it, but I never thought about what Will thought when he first got trapped in the Upside Down. Did he think it was a nightmare at first? Did he maybe think he was in hell?

Demigorgon has a closed faceprint - nice.

Also, I'm really curious about the structure. Obviously they designed it well enough to hold at first, but like the UCS Slave I shows (don't own one, just know about the issue), gravity's a bitch.

You should see the Silent Mary after being on display with the hull up for 2 years, it can't stay up anymore without breaking down
